Is it possible for to make the duplicate windows stay up?

Right now, i am workin on my ultimate workspace for photoshop, but I have one more interest. I wanted to see if it was possible for me to use the window>Arrage>new window for feature and have it save as a permanent dock for my photoshop workspace. That way, when I open up a image on photoshop, I don't have to worry about going to window on my application bar and starting this feature. If there is a way, can you give me some infomation in detail?

I’m not sure I even understand what your intention is.
Do you always want more than one window per open document?
That might be possible to do with Script Events Manager (with a Scipt or Action) but I see no connection to a Workspace.

Is it possible to make the document window not to hide behind the palettes (layers, paths etc) like in CS5? For instance if I want to make a correction in the right part of the image and zoom in, the window expand under the different palettes and I can no longer see the area which I want to correct without change the document window size. Generally, you shouldn't need to zoom; you can pre-set the display of message text.

The 'x' might not show on their top left corner (it might be invisible), but clicking where it should be should hide the app.

How do you make the open window as big as the screen?

When I open a window in safari it does not take up the whole screen. I have tried to maximize yet I still see the desktop in the background. How can I make the current window take up the whole screen?

On the Mac, 'maximize' (the green button in the title bar) is +context sensitive+ - it expands the window based on the content of the window. If the content is not screen-filling, the window won't get any bigger than necessary. There's no 'global' solution to this for OS X, but for Safari in particular, the Saft plugin has an option for full-screen browsing.

Opening new tabs makes the browser window wider

when opening a new tab in safari
it makes the browser window bigger (at the bottom)
but not only at the bottom actually
after a few close-open's it also starts growing at the top
and for me it's unacceptable cause there are folders that i need fulltime access to (at the top)
is there a way (a script) to prevent safari "grow" and make the browser window bigger in a while ?
i don't really know why is it happening because if you press cmd+t it opens a new tab and the browser window kinda slides bigger at the bottom but then if you press cmd+w it does the opposite and the browser window stays the same size after those actions

i mean take opera for example. it always stays the same size and new opened tabs take the "inside space" if you know what i mean. the browser window doesn't get bigger. there is space allocated especially for tabs
i like safari but it is very important for me that it stays the same size all the time
i have all windows and folders situated exactly where i want them and if something moves and covers other items, it gets uncomfortable

Yes, it sounds like this is the cause.
Some pop-up window code forces the new window to be a certain size. Since it's intended to open in a new window, that normally wouldn't cause problems. But you're forcing the pop-up to open as a new tab in the current window, which causes the current window to be resized to that new page's defined size.

Yes. It's at the minimum size via that method, but is much too large. I like to have it open always and in the previous OS the window was much smaller. Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless.

I came up with an alternative solution.
Instead of actually trying to move the JInternalFrame from one JDesktopPane to another, I added a single, maximized JInternalFrame to the left side. When one of the right side frames is to be docked, I merely copy its ContentPane to the single JInternalFrame on the left, set the original to be non-visible, and adjust the properties of the JSplitPane to make the "docked" frame appear.
When the "close" button on the docked frame is pressed, I simply undo this procedure to "undock" the frame and redisplay it on the right-hand side (with its content intact from the docked frame, but in its original position).

are there possibilities to search for images in the dialog window "Select Multiple Images" (if you want to add a image to a record)?
I know the possibilities to sort the images and the possibilities with the data groups. But I don't know a possibilities to search for a single image.

      From the question you asked; its not much clear what your clear requirement is; but if its what i get then the solution is:
      How is that you want to select the image? With Image view or By viewing the image itself ? For it when u select "Select Multiple Images" you can find two as "Available Images" and "Selected Images" and in between u can find some buttons, after "All, Add, Remove and None" you can find two buttons "Thumb Nail" and "view Details". I think you can use these buttons for your solution.
      When you select "Thumb Nail" button you can see the image in real and select the image. OR you can select "View Details" and check the file name or path or the requirement as required.

With the latest Firefox update, the Firefox window stays in front of all other software windows until I directly minimize the Firefox window. Is this a bug?

I can minimize the Firefox window, but *unless* I minimize it, I can't access other programs-- even if I click on a window behind the Firefox window or try clicking on the appropriate icon from the Windows taskbar. The Firefox window stays in front.
I'm using Firefox 18.0; I am on the update release channel.

There is a bug in Adblock. If you disable, thing return to normal. In my experience, this only occurs after an ad is blocked.

Making the "!" Appear so I can make the Duplicate Items Disappear

I just recently somewhat successfully relocated my itunes library to an external hard drive.
I actually had been manually backing up music to that hard drive by dragging and dropping over the past year or so, and clearing out my itunes library on my computer.
Once I relocated the library to the folder on the external hard drive, I dragged and dropped everything from the external folder into itunes. It copied everything successfully and also organized everything on my hard drive and will continue to do so.
The problem is that I did not remember to clear out what was in my itunes library on my computer until afterwards. What I should have done is wiped out my library in itunes, and moved everything to the trash but I didn't. I chucked the whole itunes file without checking and then created my current situation:
For about 20 GB of music there are duplicate listings in the library itself but no files to back them up.
The issue is that some of those link to actual files, while others if played would show the exclamation point.
How do I get the duplicates without files to show the exclamation point so that I can delete those entries in the library without mistakenly erasing files from the library itself?
If there is a better way to make these "dummy listings" disappear I would be happy to hear it.

Is there a way to make the flyout window for the adjustments panel close automatically?

The flyout window for the tool on the adjustments panel is OK, although I'm not thrilled that it takes up space inside of the image. Is there a way to either make it open within the panel the way it did in CS5 or close automatically when you have finished making adjustments?

The Adjustments is not in itself normaly called a ''flyout window'', and it operates like other panels and responds to the settings R_Kelly has mentioned.
There's a menu sometimes called the ''fly-out menu'' that you get when you click the little icon at the upper-right corner of the Adjustments panel.
I just wanted to mention the distinction because experts may at first be confused if you describe a panel itself as ''flyout'', even though that's what they do.

Firefox now manages the downloads in the Downloads folder in the Library (History > Show All History > Downloads) and download are treated as history items.

So you open the Library if you inspect all downloads and this Library window doesn't close automatically.
When a download is in progress then you see a download progress (timer) bar on the Navigation Toolbar instead of the Download Manager button and that button is highlighted once the download has finished to make you aware the their are new downloads.
You can view the new Download Manager in a tab by opening the about:downloads page and consider to open this page in a separate window.
You can set the Boolean pref browser.download.useToolkitUI to <i>true</i> on the <b>about:config</b> page to restore the classic Download Manager window and make all download settings appear in "Tools > Options > General".

How can I make the lock screen stay active for longer than 5 seconds?

I'd like to have the lock screen stay active for longer than 5 seconds. Too many times I've not seen a notification come through. I'd like to have it stay on for at least 5 minutes for shutting down. I'm suprised a "lock screen delay" option isn't a general setting available to unjailbreaked phones.

How to search for synonyms in the tagging window

Hey there,
I like the possibility to add synonyms to the Tag, so I can find longer words or names that I shortcuted using a synonym (such as Nicknames, like using "Fry" as a synonym for Frederick Jones), but when it comes to import new content from that person and I enter "Fry" in the tagging line, it does not offer me "Frederick Jones". Is there an option to make the synonym available for tagging?

If you are a person who depends on synonyms (or spaces) in their keywords, I whole-heartedly recommend AnyFile.
