Is it possible to add a string inside a textbox with a value of another textbox?
ex.
Textbox1 = Happy
Textbox2 = Sad
Textbox3 = "I am Happy therefore I am not Sad"
"I am (value of textbox1) therefore I am not ( value of textbox2)"

Use this code as the custom calculation code of Textbox3:
event.value = "I am " + getField("textbox1").value + " therefore I am not " + getField("textbox2").value;
Notice that the field names are case-sensitive.

Yes, it is.
The easiest way for me is access the custom shape tool, and within that the Symbols library. You will find the copy right sign. Just drag it out. It will be on its own layer. Enter the rest of the info with the Type tool.
The symbol can also be found in the character map on a Windows system.
If you have multiple photos that you wish to mark, it is very efficient to make a copyright brush and apply with a click of the mouse.

Is it possible to add pic/diagram to SP file with link to another SP file?

Is it possible to add a diagram, picture, or table to a SP file with link to another SP file?
I know this is possible in, say, Word. For example, I can add a diagram and check a box to include a link to the source file - so that when the diagram in the source file updates, the diagram in my document also updates.
This is also my goal in SP - instead of simply including a link to a document elsewhere in SP (or on the same site in SP), I would ideally like to display a diagram, picture, or table and include (behind the scenes if possible) to the source SP file
so that, when the diagram/table in the source SP file updates, my SP file also updates accordingly.
For example:
Instead of:
       The diagram is located in:
       link
I would ideally like:
       Diagram, picture, or table (with link associated with it) - users can click on the diagram or picture if they desire.

Add button - redirect to other Entity with predefined value

I have entities User and Student. In User I have attribute Role. For both entities I have created screens. And when I click on button Add on screen BrowseStudent, I want to be redirected to AddEditUser with predefined value (Student) of attribute User.Role
in form AddEditUser and disable modifying this value by user. Is it possible in Lightswitch? Redirect to other method was simple but predefined value is problem for me. Thank you for help.

I have seen attempts to use javascript to add entire new rows, and I've even tried this myself, but I'm not sure we've nailed it yet! Have a look at Denes' example: [http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:207]
If this method is not possible/practical, then you would need to be able to pass at least the ID of the row to a process that can set, perhaps, application items that can be used as defaults. The process would need to retrieve the data from either the underlying tables or the tabular form's data collection (using APEX_APPLICATION.G_Fnn functionality). Otherwise, the user's selection would be lost during the submit/reload process.

Not possible to add a new call in agenda with N97 ...

I can not add a new call in the agenda, I dont understand if is a limit of N97 mini. It's a strange situation because with all my previous Nokia phone that was possible.
It's a very usefull function because I can start the call directly with alert starting.
Any trick to do this?

Not ever noticed or used this feature , but if you set a reminder with the telephone number in it and have number search activated in messaging (so numbers are highlighted) you could tap on the number and be given the option to call !

Is it possible to add bookmarks to a PDF file with Adobe Reader for iOS?

In the App Store write-up on this app, it said that one could "Use bookmarks to jump directly to a section in your PDF file." But I don't see how one can add such bookmarks. Do they only mean that you can use bookmarks that were already in the document before you open it in Adobe Reader?

Any updates to the OP's question? I'm with a large government agency, and we're moving away from GoodReader for reasons I can't go into here, and the ability to add user-defined bookmarks within the app is a mandatory feature for the document reader we select. I have the latest version of Adobe Reader (11.6.1) installed on my government iPad, and the ability to add user-defined bookmarks still seems to be missing. Does Adobe have any plans to add this feature, or is it already present and I'm simply overlooking it?

Crystal report static string parameter is running with null value too...

I am new to crystal report . I am using crystal report XI and in the report I designed contain one static string parameter. If I not enter any value in that parameter field still myu report get run.As per requirement I dnt want to run report unless user enter any value in that field. How to do it? Please help. any comment is valuable.

One more issue is here,
I have one subreport . In that 'amount ' field is present which have data type as 'character' in database. I convert it in numeric by using following fromula,
if NumericText ({Command.AMOUNT})
then
ToNumber ({Command.AMOUNT})
when I run report in designer, it works but when I run it on crystal report server it throws error ad "Error in File :Error in formula . 'if NumericText ({Command.AMOUNT}) ' This field name is not known. Details: errorKind "

I got a pdf, and a string to find inside it, what i need to do is to get this string x,y position inside that pdf....

Daniel.AFAIK, a string of text does not have an (x,y) location inside a PDF file. The location is exists on your screen, and will differ whenever you adjust the resolution of it. Text can have a location when it's stored as an image though, but than it's really the location of a certain number of pixels (not necessarily a string!).

The Time Capsule is an AirPort Extreme with a built-in hard drive, so you can add multiple USB devices if you use a powered USB hub.

PI Sheet : Is it possible to Add Phase or Operation Text?

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to add phase or operation text along with phase number?
We are using browser base PI sheet and in the begining of the frame PI sheet shows phase number automatically like " Phase0101". Is ther any way to add short text of the phase instead of phase number or both?

In 013c defining process message category for process characteristic include standards characteristics of PP_PI Operation, PP-PI Operation text, PP-PI Phase, PP-PI Phase text also as characteristics,
After this when defing PI category 012c these characteristic appear along with process message charectestic.there define these as output characteristics. This will display phase no, phase text, operation no, operation text each time respective Process characteristic is recorded.

String inside indeterminate progressbar in Mac OS

i have set progressBar.setIndeterminate(true); and progressBar.setStringPainted(true); for making me able to display string inside the progressbar with _progressBar.setString(str); But on Mac OS (tiger) the text inside the progressbar does not appear.
And when i set _progressBar.setIndeterminate(false); the strings inside the progressbar do appear.
This problem is not of refereshing as this is evident on Mac os but on windows.
On windows the text appear correctly .. and i have set lookandfeel to systemlook andfeel. Can anyone point me to the problem area

I saw that I can create two kind of PDF/A1b (CMJN and RVB), but nothing about PDF/A1a.
Unfortunately, I see the same limitation in the administration pages of the LiveCycle server.

There is no longer a way in the Acrobat/Reader interface to do this. Several conflicting methods were available via Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, and multiple web browsers. Each could conflict with the other including the settings for Acrobat and Reader installed on the same computer. So, Adobe decided that the best way to handle this operation was through the web browser plug-in interface.

I have a text file (named listpass in the above code) inside tomcat-webapps folder containing a node name and its password.You could see the path of the text file at the starting line of the code.The Scene behind the program is once the particular node is clicked the password is retreived for the user against the particular node.What i would need is to change the password in the text file once it is retreived. So i would need to find the password that is retreived recently and change that one with a randomnly generated new password in the text file.
So can i do this?Is it possible to search for the string in the text file and replace that with a new one using JSP.For your note i am running all my HTML amd JSP inside the same folder where i have the text file in which the string has to be replaced .

First off you shouldn't be doing stuff like this in a JSP. JSPs should just build HTML, use a Servlet and then pass data to a JSP for formatting.
Web applications are multi-threaded, so you have to consider what happens if several of these transactions come in at the same time, each trying to change the same data file.
It's not practical to amend text files in place, generally you have to create a new version of the file for each change because if the size of a password changes the subsequent bytes of the file would all need moving.
Use a database. Databases are designed to deal with these issues and there are perfectly good free ones around like Derby, MySQL and H2.

if you don't have more tha one clicable event per row, just
use the row to fire the click event and open the link that way.
Otherwise, i have no idea what the allowed tags are in a grid

Possible to rename popup strings upon changing `Chapter` field in `Composition Marker` dialog?

I am in need to dynamically change the values inside a popup upon a user changing the value of the `Chapter` field within the `Composition Marker` dialog. I realize that we cannot add new string values to a popup at runtime, but I read a thread in this forum, and in the `Supervisor` example in the SDK, that it is possible to rename them. However, it seems like the event for making the changes to those values is triggered by a user changing values in the parameter set of the plugin itself.
So my idea is to populate a popup param with 20 strings--for example, 1, 2, 3, . . . 20. Then when a user enters in a string within the `Chapter` field in a `Composition Marker` dialog, it updates the popup list to show the user entered string. Is this possible? I know I can access the string in the `Chapter` field via javascript ExtendScript. Can I do it within C++ code?

to get the marker string you should use AEGP_GetMarkerString() with AEGP_MarkerString_CHAPTER. as for changing the popup values, by looking at the thread you pointed out, it seems it's possible to change the popup names at any time, and not during a specific code. the entire accessing of the popup data in that example was done using AEGP calls, which should not be affected by the calling time. (except for rare cases) never tried it myself. can vouch for my advice here. since popup param's amount of entries can't be changed dynamically (to the best of my knowledge), you can create 30 (or any other number) of hidden popup params, starting with 1 entry and ending with 30 entries in it, and make only the param that fits your purposes best at that moment - visible.
