i am calling a webservice. from that i am getting response. in that i have images and videos. i took those in an array. Now i need to animate those array values. just like animating images. So please tell me is it possible to animate videos are not. if yes how?

Then, if it's not self-powered and you don't have a USB hub to power it, it's impossible.
If you DO have a hub, give it a try. If the HDD is formatted in FAT32 or other, iOS-friendly formats (NOT NTFS!), you may be able to import videos / pics from it so that you can access them as imported media files.

Add and remove fields from web service desk

I want to customize the screen for the web service desk. I would like to remove the fields for processor as well as the field for category. I would like to replace those fields with Geographical Location and Telephone number. How can i do this?

In REST we cannot pass arrays like this:
String catRefIds[] = new String[1];
catRefIds[0] = "12345";
map.put("catalogRefIds", catRefIds);
This will never work.
Had done a similar implementation. The thing I did was, I wrote a logic that accepts comma separated catalogRefIds and converts it to individual catalogRefId and populate the list.

Place video and images in different folder? N73

Hi All,
Once I go: gallery/images and video, all images and video will display together. There is no way to create new folder so that I can put, or hide some private images there.
I've try using PC to do the job, created new folder and place some images in, does't work...
There is no problem on my previous Nokia phone, can anyone care to share or advise?

Unfortunately, some software designer decided that it would be better for users to see all videos and images in one long list no matter where they are, and then require you to use the "Album" feature to organize them.
In other words, the Gallery simply ignores different folders and shows everything in a long list.
There's nothing you can do, except use a different app.
I can only hope that the behaviour returns to something more sensible in future devices.

N72:Videos and Images lost, when updating "phone r...

I had bought N72 1.5 months back. Recently I bought a mem card (1 GB)and copied some audio and video file. On a holiday recorded some videos and images. But suddenly all my audios and videos went missing.
Then again I recorde some, after some time the previous recorded things again missing.
I am residing at a remote place in India where net connection is available but care centre is far from here.
So when I started updatin my s/w through PC and Net. I got all kinds of errors like:
Internal Module error (so I tried regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\msxml4.dll)
then not done.
Then continuously I am getting phone recovery remove battery and charger, connect battery and charger and retry. I did this too but in-vain.
I even hard reset it "*#some code 7580 or so don't remember#" but also not working
Please help me.

HT1479 DVD with video and images

I need to burn a DVD that contains both video AND images for viewing at another location. My video is not burning correctly, as in the audio drops out and the video gets choppy. I've tried several times on my new souped up iMac w/ OS 10.8. Any ideas?

I have to send the DVD in the mail to another state to be viewed there. It's for a job application, so I need all of the material - both jpgs and .mov files - to be playable on another Mac. This should be cake, but for some reason the .mov files are not transferring in the burn.

Yes , you can disable image field by setting acces value to readOnly.
Example:
imageField1.access = "readOnly";
It works for Adobe Reader 9

First of all, PostScript is not a "text" file. It can and often does contain binary data. Since PostScript streams often contain nested procedures, unless you process the procedure definitions and can "execute" them, you cannot simply "scan" a file to get what you want. No, I can't talk about this in detail since it is quite complex. But Adobe does have the

How come although iPads are getting more powerful, the iOS apps from apple are so mediocre and just not that great? We spend all this money for the latest ipad and all we get is these $5 video and music apps from apple. Why create the iOS platform and only offer so so apps like IMovie and GarageBand ? While other developers are offering much better apps like pinnacle studio for video, Cubasis and Auria for music production, apple has not showed much growth in terms of innovation. While there's nothing wrong with making an app like GarageBand where "anyone " can make a song, how about something for real musicians or an app not so basic as it get for video editing? After spending 0ver $700 on an ipad I'd be willing to spend more than $5 for a better video or audio app.

First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

How can you create a playlist with music and music video and play those from same playlist through Apple TV?

How can you create a playlist on Ipod touch with music and music video, and play those from same playlist through Apple TV? I can download, create a playlist with both music and music video, stream that through the Apple TV with no problem. The sound and the information show up on the TV, but when it gets to a music video, it only shows the information and "artwork".
I also have a video playlist - videos play fine through the Apple TV, but will not shuffle through all videos - continues to repeat the same one. I have most definitely selected shuffle in both locations - from the playlist and on the ipod video screen while video is playing.

I finally got it... had to sync the photos with the music in iMovie, arrange the voiceover in GarageBand then export to iTunes, and then I was able to put it all together in iMovie and burn in iDVD... had a few glitches along the way but finally finished : )

Sync with iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums, artists, playlists that you want to sync
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
Follow the same procedure for Movies.

Elitebook 2540p: Faint sound and static coming from speakers...Need Help!

I am having issues with my new 2540P. I can hear faint sound and static coming from my speakers as well as my headphones when I plug into the jack. I first started having this issue when I plugged additional speakers into the jack and USB while talking on Skype..
I am running Win7. I tried troubleshooting drivers and hardware, disabling and enabling, and a system restore going back one day...but no luck. When I disable the speakers, I stopped hearing even the faint sound. I also tried plugging and unplugging the jack 20 times.
Is it possible that this is a hardware failure (jack and/or sound card)?
Does anyone have other suggestions?

I am running XP and have same problem. Sound now gone after "pop". Customer services suggests hardware failure and send back to factory. Flashing BIOS and updating IDT audio driver will not fix the problem.
Possible speaker failure or audio chip failure.

Stop loading images from Web Service

Using the following code I put multiple request for images to the web service:

The loading takes place as multiple images are returned fom the server. All is well until the user wants to abort the image loading to view something else. removeAllElements() is called when a Close button is pressed but the images are still returned in the background.

If many images are to be returned the user has to wait for this to finish before the next lot of images can be viewed. I would have expected the function removeAllElements() would stop the process but it doesn't.
Is there any was to 'flush' or stop all previous image requests?

Thanks for the reply but the for loop finishes and the asynchronous event of receiving the images still occurs.
For example, the for loop loads 500 images. The web service takes 2 or 3 mintues to process all the images and returns them into each requesting Image component. The Close button calls the removeAllElements from the Images' parent so they no longer appear on the screen. However, the browser is still receiving the images. You can see the transfering data message flick on and off in the status line al the bottom of the browser.
The web service hasn't received all the requests at this point so they are still in transit from the browser to the web service.
Using a timer to load the images just means the images requests take longer to send to the web service.
What I need to do is cancel all image load requests when the user presses the Close button.
Hope this make sense.
