Is it possible to automatically paste each cell of an Excel workbook in Fantastical?

In my industry (law), there are certain dates (motion dates) that are posted online. I was able to take the text of the posted information and create a mail merge to use those dates to create templates for calendar entries (using Fantastical right now) for those dates and three additional deadlines that are created by each posted date. (Example--a motion date posted online is 8/9/13, deadline one-filing the motion-is 7/24/13, deadline two-filing opposition-is 8/1/13, and deadline three-filing reply papers-is 8/5/13). So now I have an excel spreadsheet with the text I need for each such deadline through June 2014 in its own cell (on its own row). I can copy and paste each item into Fantastical, but I am wondering if there is an Automator workflow or applescript that would allow me to create a separate event for each line in the spreadsheet? I also need to make sure that these dates go into their own calendar rather than have them integrated into my day-to-day calendar.
I apologize, by the way, for how convoluted this is, but I cannot figure out a simpler way to describe it.

Here's another way that is pretty quick to do.
Formula in Column B is:
=LEFT(A, FIND(":", A))
Formula in Column C is:
=RIGHT(A, LEN(A)-FIND(":", A))
You can eliminate the colon from the result in column B by writing:
=LEFT(A, FIND(":", A)-1)
Once you do the conversion, you should freeze the result by Selecting columns B and C and then Command-C, Edit > Paste Values.

HI, if I did this, then I believe that I cloud would then hold my info which I don't want. Is that the case? The reason is that I'm an old git, therefore used to not giving out info. Would I be right?

Report Painter: Separate formula in each cell of a column

Hi,
I'm creating a report painter report using GRR1. My 1st column is particulars (which includes revenue & costs) and 2nd column is % to sales. I need a separate formula in each cell of column2 to divide the contents of the respective cell in column1 by sales (the figure in 1 cell) & then multiply it by 100. Is this possible? If yes, then how?

Copy-Paste Multiple Cells in Cell Editor in BI7 at once

Dear all
I am using Cell Editor in Query Designer (BI7.0).
There are around 200 Rows. And each Cell has got some specific restriction.
Now, I need to copy a complete column to another column - so all restrictions/formulas of all cells in that column need to get copied to another cell of next column.
I am able to copy single cell by cell. But, I want to copy the entire column at once and paste it (For example select multiple cells and paste).
Is it feasible? I am unable to do this.

As a alternative you might check out Yoink in the Mac App Store (MAS). When you drag a item, a shelf will slide out on the side of the monitor. You drop the items on the shelf, navigate to the destination then drag item to new location. Fast and simple to use.

BPS Web Interface don't show multiple documents for each cell

Hi gurus,
I have an issue... we are trying use text documents from BPS on the WEB interface. Everything works fine, I can input text documents on each cell on the web, and from Query as well.
I saved several other documents from the query for the very same cell, and I can see these other documents from BPS itself or from the Query by clicking on the title... but on BPS WEB interface, it shows only the last text document saved.
Is there anything wrong on the configuration, or is it possible for the WEB interface to show the titles so that the user can choose which document he wants to open?

did you check whether the document attributes are generated for your Characteristics?
AWB -> Documents -> Administration -> Generated Properties
There is also a SAP Note 431126, which you might want to consult.

Changing scaling factor for each cell in Bex Analyzer

Hi,
We have a query with 2 structure (1 structure in rows, 1 in columns). We execute the query with Bex Analyzer in Excel.
We would like to change the scaling factor for each cell. If we use the function 'Properties' for the active cell (context menu), we can change the scaling factor only for one cell.
Is it possible to change it for the complete table?
We use BI 7.0, patch 14.

Unit in each cell

Hello,
In analysis for olap, the unit or currency is displayed in each cell whereas in analysis office (excel) and in former bex web it was possible to display on top of the column when unique.
I know that the enhancement has been asked several times but I would like to know if this enhancement is planned (maybe available).

In Analysis OLAP the currency, unit and scaling factor all appear with the number in each cell.
At this time there is no near-term plan to change this behaviour.

How to get IAttributeStrand for each Cell in Table

Hello All,
I am trying to set the font and size depending upon the user inputs under each cell in the table.
For Text frame I am able to achieve this by using ITextModel->QueryStrand(). But for Table I am not able to find any function which can allow me to query the Cell Strand and allow to apply the attributes.
Has anyone been able to achieve the same. If so please do let me know its urgent.

Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply. By the way I forgot to mention that we are using the same in CS3. We tried as you have mentioned in your mail. But we did not find any way to achieve the ITextStoryThread from ICellConent. We tried all possible ways but we always get the Text Frame TextModel. We have used following code to get TextModel for each cell. We get correct startindex and endindex for each cell and also get the valid TextModel Interface. But when we try to find out its length then it returns the whole TextModel length. Thus when we try to apply different attributes for each cell then it applies to whole table. E.g. When we try to apply 12 font size for 1st cell then it also applies to remaining cells. So we think we are not able to find out correct TextModel for each cell. Below is our snippet of code on what we tried. Is it possible copy and paste or drag and drop a complete indesign level (with a lots of elements in each page) in another documents with the same number of pages?

You could alt/opt click the layer. That will select everything. Then copy/paste to a new document making sure that paste remembers layers is enabled.

If i do a set of measurements and i want to save each measurement in own file is it possible to automatically create filenames? For example XXX1.vi XXX2.vi ... XXXn.vi

Is the n in XXXn a counter or a test number? See my attached example Create Report File from Serial Number. It creates a report file name starting with the serial number of the UUT and then appending a counter. You don't have to save the counter: the program looks for the next available filename on disk.
Your question shows file names ending in .vi. You may not have intended it, but don't use .vi for data files: save that extension for real VIs. If each measurement has its own VI and you want to name the datafile based on the name of the calling VI, see my attached example Create Report File from Calling VI. It gets the name of the calling VI and creates a .txt file with the same name as the caller (with the new extension .txt).

If you have an XML application set up that supports both import and export, you could
include a very simple XSLT transform in one direction that does the unwrapping.

It's not possible to automate that. Although you can trigger a standard word-search using JavaScript, you can't do anything with the results - they just appear in the user interface. There's no GREP functionality so you can't search for an extended block of page content, and there's also no way to select or extract a specific region of a page into a new file using scripts.
The only way I could think of doing this would be in InDesign - assuming each question starts with a distinct element that can be GREPped for, you could separate each one onto a new page by running a search/replace that add a page break in front of the element. You can then export all the 'single-question' pages as images, and use PS automation to trim the whitespace.

There is a requirement to jump to different report for each cell on that table.
Is it possible?
I try to created class "ZCL_MYCLASS" with superclass of "CL_RSR_WWW_MODIFY_TABLE".
And put some code on HTML as below:

Not statically, but you can do this in code:
That's a method on the left and a property on the right.
I don't know if this will work as you expect (it should change the tip strip, but I don't know if it will appear like you want it to), so you can also implement this yourself by having a string indicator which you show and move around using its properties.

BAM : Crosstab : Need to get percentage of row total for each cell

I am new to BAM. I have a requirement for which I am using crosstab. Basically, I need to show number instances per human task per user. Human Task is the row header, user is the column header, and I am using count(instance id) to fetch the count of instances. I am able to show the sum of values for each row and column, but I also need to show the percentage for each cell(based on row total).
I do not know if it is possible to fetch the total for further calculations. I believe the calculated field will be processed for each cell, and hence there will be no sum available.
Also, crosstab does not have a percent of total aggregate function.
Kindly advise.

For constructing summary, COLLECT is very useful.
1. Create one new internal table STAB having two fields.
a) licensetype
b) cnt
2. Suppose your original internal table is itab.
Loop at ITAB.
STAB-licensetype = itab-licensetype.
STAB-CNT = 1.
COLLECT STAB.
EndLoop.
3. In this way, you will get DISTINCT license types, and their count.
