Unit in each cell

Hello,
In analysis for olap, the unit or currency is displayed in each cell whereas in analysis office (excel) and in former bex web it was possible to display on top of the column when unique.
I know that the enhancement has been asked several times but I would like to know if this enhancement is planned (maybe available).

In Analysis OLAP the currency, unit and scaling factor all appear with the number in each cell.
At this time there is no near-term plan to change this behaviour.

How to set the cell size in grid layout where each cell is a panel

Hi,
I am using a grid layout where each cell is a panel. Here I want to
set size of each panel to be equal irrespective of any. But it is not obliging the setSize().
no of row in grid - 4
no of columns - 4
each cell is a panel. each panel has a label.
panel.setSize(parent.getWidth(), parent.getWidth()/4); // not working. Size is adjusting to the length of the label.
I want to force the size of the panel to our preferred size.
Note: In swing we can use JPanel.setPreferredSize(). Unfortunately I cannot use Swing components. Requirement is awt only.
Any help in this is highly appreciated.

I observed it is same behavior with gridbag layout. Infact it is gridbag layout only with 4 cells, where first cell should be of constant width (it is base for other cell widths) and other cells are variable (some integer*base width of first cell). I want to set the size of first cell width to be constant.
Though it is redundant I once again say that it works perfect with setPreferredSize of JComponent.
But I should not use any swing component/api. This is sytem requirement.
Any help is appreciated.

Report Painter: Separate formula in each cell of a column

I'm creating a report painter report using GRR1. My 1st column is particulars (which includes revenue & costs) and 2nd column is % to sales. I need a separate formula in each cell of column2 to divide the contents of the respective cell in column1 by sales (the figure in 1 cell) & then multiply it by 100. Is this possible? If yes, then how?

BPS Web Interface don't show multiple documents for each cell

Hi gurus,
I have an issue... we are trying use text documents from BPS on the WEB interface. Everything works fine, I can input text documents on each cell on the web, and from Query as well.
I saved several other documents from the query for the very same cell, and I can see these other documents from BPS itself or from the Query by clicking on the title... but on BPS WEB interface, it shows only the last text document saved.
Is there anything wrong on the configuration, or is it possible for the WEB interface to show the titles so that the user can choose which document he wants to open?

did you check whether the document attributes are generated for your Characteristics?
AWB -> Documents -> Administration -> Generated Properties
There is also a SAP Note 431126, which you might want to consult.

Each cell has to provide drilldown option. These Rejected/Accepted values are dynamically counted from database.IF the user clicks on a particular Rejected value (eg. 12 or 16), I need to list those 12 or 16 records breakup for each cell .

Create an Hierarchy where the Input method value be the parent level set the dimensional value as the logical level key and then set the Rejected and accepted as the child level in the same level and define accepted and rejected both as logical key in the same level

Changing scaling factor for each cell in Bex Analyzer

Hi,
We have a query with 2 structure (1 structure in rows, 1 in columns). We execute the query with Bex Analyzer in Excel.
We would like to change the scaling factor for each cell. If we use the function 'Properties' for the active cell (context menu), we can change the scaling factor only for one cell.
Is it possible to change it for the complete table?
We use BI 7.0, patch 14.

How to get IAttributeStrand for each Cell in Table

Hello All,
I am trying to set the font and size depending upon the user inputs under each cell in the table.
For Text frame I am able to achieve this by using ITextModel->QueryStrand(). But for Table I am not able to find any function which can allow me to query the Cell Strand and allow to apply the attributes.
Has anyone been able to achieve the same. If so please do let me know its urgent.

Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply. By the way I forgot to mention that we are using the same in CS3. We tried as you have mentioned in your mail. But we did not find any way to achieve the ITextStoryThread from ICellConent. We tried all possible ways but we always get the Text Frame TextModel. We have used following code to get TextModel for each cell. We get correct startindex and endindex for each cell and also get the valid TextModel Interface. But when we try to find out its length then it returns the whole TextModel length. Thus when we try to apply different attributes for each cell then it applies to whole table. E.g. When we try to apply 12 font size for 1st cell then it also applies to remaining cells. So we think we are not able to find out correct TextModel for each cell. Below is our snippet of code on what we tried. JTable custom cell renderer for each cell

Hi,
Iam trying to implement a JTable in which each cell in a column can be of a different type. i.e it can be a tree node or plain text. Can someone point me to examples where this has been done.
Iam trying to override getColumnClass but it only takes a column no as parameter. I would like to return a different type depending on the row for which getColumnClass is called. It would help if getColumnClass could take 2 params (row and column). Can someone help.

Multiple data in each cell in JTable

I'm currently working on a program where I need to a JTable that can contain multiple data in each cell. I,ve solved this problem so far by making each cell contain a JList to hold the data, but I'm a little concerned about performance issues. Lets say I have a table with 10x10 cells, that would make 100 JList to render! So my question is if there is a better more light weight way of having multiple data in a JTable cell?

In the future, Swing related questions should be posted in the Swing forum.
First of all it looks like you have a working program, so are you experiencing any renderering problems?
The only suggesion I would make is to store the ListModel in the table not the JList. I don't think this will improve the renderering, but it should save on resources as you don't need to create multiple JLists.
Or maybe you use JLabels on a panel with a GridLayout.
Or, if you data isn't dynamic, then maybe you create and store an image of each cell and then just use the default renderer.

Add image to beginning of each cell?

I'm using VB with Word Interop.
Currently, the program is creating a Mailing Labels sheet for bottles.
Is there a way to programmatically add an image to the beginning of each cell (before the New Recipe text)?

Enter the first date. I typed 23 feb. Numbers adds the year (if you want a different year, type that as well).
Press return (enter)
Click on the first cell.
You will see a small white crcle at the bottom right of that cell.
Drag the circle down.
