Is it possible to change Planning Plant in General Task list
Hello Gurus,
Is it possible to change Planning Plant in General Task list, ie. for eg.
Earlier I have General Task list Group:22, Group Counter:1, with Planning Plant:0001 & now i want to change/update new planning plant 0002 instead of old 0001 in the same task list.
could you plz suggest me, is it possible? & how to do changes?

Its not possible to change the Planning plant , You can delete that task list or you can put deletion flag on it, and go for new creation

Hi Experts,
My problem is I changed company code , maintenance plant & planning plant in old system as per client requirement. They are using same system from last 4 years. I changed all require setting in customization but now problem is that in equipment task list system does not allow to change the planning plant in header data of IA02 T code. I updated the new planning plant in Function location master,Equipment master , Work center & assign it planner group but even system shows the old planning plant in task list header data. System shows the planning plant data in display mode.
Pl advice from where system link the planning plant field in task list header data.

Pete is right. There is no way you can change the planning plant in the Task Lists
Task list creation is done for a planning plant & you will not be able to use the existing tasklist for your updated equipments having different PPlants.
The only way to proceed is to create new tasklists
Delete the old assignments of the tasklists to the maintenance item & reassign the new tasklists to the existing items
In case you dont want the tasklists in the system itself, you will have to delete the tasklists - ie mark the deletion indicator in the change mode & archive the TLs.

In maintenance order , depending on equipment , the planning plant gets defaulted . If Equipment is installed in another FL whose planning plant is different , the order's planning plant doesn't change (Greyed) . Is there anyway to change planning plant in orders
NPBWe have maitenance and planning plant same .Equipment was in maintenance plant XYZ and planning plant XYZ earlier . Now the same equipment is in maintainance plant ABC and planning plant ABC . In order , I am able to change maintenance plant to ABC , but unable to change the planning plant to ABC .
If I do not change planning plant and change only maintenence plant , what are the effects in cost reporting ? Since ultimately cost is settled to equipment cost center (which is now changed to ABC cost center) , I feel there will not be any effect . Old planning plant may only affect search right ? ....Please advise ...

General task list: component selection from BOM - possible in batch input?
Hi experts,
for the assignment of non-stock material to general task lists I have followed the advice from message[6115684|Re: General Task List Components;.
So what I have done is:
- Include non-stock material in BOM
- Assign BOM to general task list header
When clicking on the "Component selection" button in the task list components, I can select a component.
When entering the material number of the component directly though, I get an error: "Material type X and line item type L not compatible" (CO135).
I would like to upload the general task lists with a batch input recording, but I can't figure out how to select components.
Any thoughts?

We have the same requirement to load tasklists (change & create). We are using the function modules EAM_TASKLIST_CREATE and EAM_TASKLIST_CHANGE. However, i cannot get a non-stock BOM item to process. Has anyone got this working?

EDIT: Found the answer - simply fill in the fields for BOM on the component (STLTY, STLNR, STLKN, and STLAL).

LSMW Transaction IA06 - Change general task list
Hi,
I'm using BDC for transaction IA06. But now I've encountered a problem in the maintenace package.
For each GROUP(PLNNR) and COUNTER (PLNAL), there are different number of maintenance package: screen field: RIHSTRAT-MARK01, RIHSTRAT-MARK02, RIHSTRAT-MARK03, etc.
In my source data, the input value is in number which corresponds to the text in each RIHSTRAT-MARK For example, the maintenance package for group PRPMP counter 1 has 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 12, 16, 26, 52. From my source data, the package is 12, then I will have to check the 6th box.
The problem is, there are different number of packages for each group and counter, and the sequence of package text is dfferent too.
I'm wondering if there is a table that stores the number of package and it's corresponding text for each group and counter?
I've searched the forum, but there seems no discussion about this issue. I'd appreciate any feedbacks from you. Thanks in advance.

I have a similar situation needing to load Maintenance Package indicator data via IA05 thru LSMW. I have an LSMW using the Standard Batch/Direct Input. It is using Object 490 (Gen. task list) Method 0000 and the program Name is IBIP. I am able to import 2 files. 1 for the Task List Header to Structure IBIPTLST. The 2nd file to the Task List Components IBIPTMAT. This process works, but the requirement is to also load the data to update ("check") the screen field: RIHSTRAT-MARK01, RIHSTRAT-MARK02, RIHSTRAT-MARK03, etc. with the proper 'X's for each component.
I have found suggestions to use the IBIPMPAC (Maintenance Packages) structure to load. But this structue is looking for a 2 character field (i.e. KTEXTZYK01, KTEXTZYK02, etc. of type KTEXTZYK). This looks like the data that would be used for Maintenance Strategies Cycle Lengths found in IP11.
Any assistance in loading the Maintenance Package indicators is helpful. Thank you in advance.

Change planning plant in production order
Hi Gurus,
my business scenario is the following:
I have 2 plants that are assigned to 2 different company codes. Plant A (ordering plant) and Plant B (supplying plant).
The users place a sales order on plant A and through MRP with special procurement key 80 the planned order is turned into a production order in plant B.
But in the order confirmation the system tries to post the GR in plant A. Is there a way to change the planning plant of the production order at any time i.e in order creation or order confirmation? Because I need the GR against the production order to be done in plant B. Since the subsequent posting according to the business scenario would be after production, the goods should be sold from Plant A to Plant B via a sales order.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

SPK 80 doesn't suit your requirement, since by design it is doing GR in the ordering plant.
Alternatively you need to work with a SPK like 40, that is stock transfer from B to A. Just set up the intercompany process for this stock transfer.
This way, when MRP in A detects a need for replenishment, a stock transfer requisition from B to A is created. Then MRP in B will create a planned order for production (that you will convert into a production order later). GR is in B. The stock transfer requisition is converted into a stock transfer order, and the actual transfer takes place.

In SAP sales order, Is that possible to change the plant manually?

When we create sales order, for material , it will choose the shipping plant . Some materials
has different level, like Material A is 0 Level, Material B is under A . So B will use same plant as A.
We hope to manually change the plant for B, but the field of plant is grey.
Is that possbile if we could enhanbe this field and could manually change plant ?

Currently, our problem is we need 0 level mateiral A plant as X , and Sub-item mateiral plant as Y , we hope to manually change the sub-item plant , but that field is grey , so we can't do it. We can change the high level mateiral plant, but for our request, the we only want to change the low level item plant, high level plant still need be X, no need change to Y.
The one way we found is to reject this line, and craete a new item and also input the level number.
but it's not convenient
So we hope to know for such plant field, Now in our sap, it's grey, we can't change it. Does sap need confige and allow this field un-grey, then we can manually directly change sub-item plant?

Plant for PR in case of Centralized planning plant
Dear All,
In case of centralized planning, if a Service PR is created then it is taking the plant as the planning plant & not the maintenance plant.
For example: Maintenance pLant A & Maintenance Plant B have a common planning plant as "A" & if a PR is created for maintenance plant "B" then it is taking the plant as "A" & not the other.
please suggest where we can change the plant in case of service pr created through the maintenance order.

The planning plant will always be passed to the purchase requisition as you have found. Only alternative is to use a user exit
For components use exit COZF0002 (EXIT_SAPLCOZF_002). The exit is called on creating purchase requisitions for components from PM/CS orders. Customer exit COZF0001 can be used for external operations.
This exit allows change of fields in structure EBAN_ORD_CUST. Field WERKS is not included in this structure but you can append this field to the structure. After that you have to add a line into your exit (example):
... move afvgd-werks to EBAN_ORD_CUST-WERKS...
Through this method it should be possible to change the plant on the requisition.

One type of sales order that we use is sales that we don't have stock and we get them only if there is a customer asking fro this. At sales order by changing the item category, the schedule line is changed and a purchase requisition is being created.
At the point of the sales order we agree with the customer to get the items from plant A.
We transform the purchase requisition to purchase order and we get the items as it is suggested in plant A.
For any reason, the customer wants to get the items now from plant B.
How is it possible to change the plant in the sales order, move the items from plant A to plant B, so to make the delivery from plant B, as the customer wants.Hi
I think it is possible to change the Plant in Change mode (VA02) until you donu2019t make the delivery for the sales order.

Plant Maintenance - Linkage between Task List and Maintenance Plan
Sir,
In Plant Maintenance, I have an equipment for which there are 9 maintenance activities that have to be performed every year. Out of these 4 activities will be carried out every month. 1 activity will be carried out during the months of February, June and October. 5 activities will be carried out only in the month of December.
I need to create Task List for all these activities and subsequently create Maintenance Plans for all these Task Lists.
Can I group all the 4 activites which will be carried out every month into one single Task List, with separate operation nos and time against each activity?. I don't know whether it is correct or not.
If I use the above method I can create 3 Task Lists for this particular equipment with same Group no and 3 Group Counters.
How to create Maintenance Plan for the above scenario?.
Eventhough, 4 activites are carried out every month and they have been grouped into a single Task List (Group counter 1) and if these activites are carried out on different dates within a month how can I create Maintenance Plan and subsequently create a Maintenance Order?.
I need some help in this regard. A detailed reply will be helpful.

Vijayakumaryou need to create one task list with a maintenance strategy with packages and hierarchy to outline the work requirements i.e. some tasks to be carried out 3 monthly some 4 monthly etc, and also if common tasks appear in 3 monthly package vs 4 monthly package then to suppress the duplicating task
you would then define a strategy based maintenance plan and run it to get the respective maintenance orders -

as per you, you are having three plants. whether all three plants are having de-centralized planning or centralized planning?
if centralized planning you can create one task list and you can assign the same tasklist to other two plants also.
for example if you are having three maintenance plants as P1, P2 AND P3
and planning plant as only one such as P1, in this case you can do it.
but if your all three plants are having individual planning plants then its not possible.

Enable user to change channels belonging to a task
Hi to all, I want to create a SubVI which enables the user to configure channels for a task. When the user finished adding channels to the task, the task should be returned to my main VI. I attached an image of the SubVi (I use the German version, but there should be no problem; if someone has a question, I'll try to translate).
Currently, I have to questions/problems which are connected to each other (in my view):
How can I find out and display the channels the user added to the task? I want to test whether everything works fine or not.
Even more important, the user should have the possibility to view which channels have been added and to rename them (and to change the scaling after I finished this feature).
Using Google, the forum search and the Labview Help did not help me to find a possibility to view which channels belong to a given task and edit them. Maybe someone of you knows something? By the way, if I have a mistake/something very ugly in my code, please tell me about it. I'm still learning LabView.

you can determine the channels in a task with a property node. Take a look at the attached VI, this will show you how.
If you want to know which channels are added by the user, you must know the channels before and after the edit. Than you can compare the information and find out the added channels.
I don't know if its possible to change the name of a task after you created it. If it's possible, than with a DAQmx property node like in the example.

I have tried searching for an answer to this to no avail. Is it possible to execute a search for maintenance plans that have no task list attached to them? I have tried IP15 thinking their would be a status to include or exclude but have had no luck. Any thoughts?
