Is it possible to create soap to file sync/async bridge

Hi All,
I am balakrishna, I have one requirement, at sender side we have ep system and at receiver side having http system. from ep side we are using soap req/res as sync communication. At reciver side we have to use the reciver file adapter as a dummy because receiver file adapter doesn't pick the file from the http links. so, again we have to use the sender file adapter  to pick the files (text/excel) from the http links directly using wget os command. how can i implement this scenario using bpm.

Hi,
You will find a sample BPM for sync/async bridge under
SAP BASIS --> http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Patterns --> Integration Process --> BpmPatternSyncAsyncBridge.
Your requirement would be similar to this.

  • RFC -File Sync Async bridge RFC Adapter Exception

    Hi
I am using sync async bridge to send a response back to rfc.
Although there is no error in sxmb_moni as well as the auditlog shows that the response was sent successfully to rfc.. still the RFC adapter gives the following error with no response sent to RFC..
Error in processing caused by: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: failed to identify XML document:java.lang.Exception: javax.xml.parsers.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider com.sap.engine.lib.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl not found
    please help

    Solved the problem..
The problem could be due to the following..
    1. the response structure was just a single character..while i was sending a whole string..
    2. I restarted the server...probably the problem
    javax.xml.parsers.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider com.sap.engine.lib.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl not found
system property must have set mismatch for the SAXFactoryImpl.... by deploying modules before in which i was using SAX parser.. may be the i set the system property earlier to other provider dont remember...
Hope this information will be useful to someone in future using Sync/Async bridge

  • Is it possible to create an installation file, or JumpStart file, for iCS 2.x?

Is it possible to create an installation file using the
    "setup -k" command for
iPlanet Calendar Server(iCS) 2.1? And is it possible to install iCS 2.1 with
    JumpStart
from an installation server, or do I need to use the installation log?
    <P>
The installer for iCS 2.x does not support silent installation (the
    setup -k command). To install
iCS 2.x, the system administrator must run the installer directly on each
system where the calendar server is to be installed.
    <P>
Silent installation may be supported on a future release.

  • Is it possible to create a MPEG4 file that is still hi def?

Hello, I'm new to Compressor, having just installed Compressor 3.5. I have a short Final Cut hi def (1080i) video file that my son wants to upload as a hi def file on youtube. He tried uploading the Final Cut file, but it was too large for youtube (over 3 gig), and apparently they requested a mpeg4 file. I messed with Compressor last night and created a 952 MB file using the Hi Def folder in Setting. I also created a 252 MB file using the MPEG4 folder in Settings. But somehow I don't believe that the MPEG4 file is hi def.
Is it even possible to create an mpeg4 file in compressor that is hi def? If so, could you please tell me which setting to use?
    Thanks so much, Bob

Does the 1280 X 720 indicate that it is definitely hi def?
By definition (no pun intended), 'high definition' is any resolution greater than 'standard definition.' Standard definition video in NTSC is 720x480 (NTSC rectangular pixels or NTSC 640x480 square pixels). Standard definition in PAL is 720 x576.
how is it possible to still have hi def, if the file is 1/9 the size of the original file?
For a watered down version of compression, some of the information for each pixel's RGB values are thrown out during the compression process. For example, in MPEG-2 compression (commonly used for DVD and broadcast TV), the first frame is an independent or "I" frame, containing all the data for each pixel's RGB value. The next 14 frames only contain the data for each pixel that changed from the I frame or from the previous frame. This group of 15 frames is known as a GOP (group of pictures). The 16th frame is another "I" frame and consequently starts another GOP.
In reality it's a heck of a lot more complex than that, but that's the basics of video compression. For a more detailed explanation, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_compression

  • Is it possible to create a control file without the datafiles

    Hi All,
Is it possible to create a control file without the datafiles?
on any OS or DB version
    regards,
    sachin

    if I understand properly:
    - you have a script to recreate the controlfile
    - you have all of your database files backed up except your controlfiles
This should work as this is how we sometimes refresh dev databases:
    1) restore the copies of the database files
    2) recreate the controlfile
    3) recover the database files to the desired point in time (if hot backup or archivelogs are available, otherwise, it would be as of the time of the backup)
    4) add temp files to temporary tablespace(s)
The simpler solution would be to backup your controlfile at the same time as your datafiles (RMAN or o/s copy).
I hope I understood your question properly.

  • Possible to create a JAR file from within a java app?

Is it possible to create a jar file from within a java application?
Can it be done more elegantly than by spawning-off another
process with the Runtime and exec() portions of the api?
    Thanks
    Scott

Thanks! I was mislead by the API notes for java.util.jar:
The JarOutputStream class is used to write the contents
of a JAR file to any output stream.
I was looking for a class or method to make jar files.
    Seems this is it ;)

  • Is it possible to create an "offline" file of company specific updates?

    Hello everyone -
Wanted to know if and how it is possible to create an offline file(.cab) of our current, company specific Windows Updates. We currently use the stand alone SUS for all domain PCs.
I'd then like to apply this file to our current image, then capture it.
Currently our image is a bit dated and any deployment of this image will then have to "catch up" to all of our updates that we deploy, (around 300MB+ right now).
    TIA,
    randy

  • File based Sync-Async Bridge

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where a file is available in a shared folder.
This file needs to be picked by a RFC Function module called in a Synchronous mode and the contents of the file needs to be displayed as the output of this RFC.
Is this achievable using Sync-Async Bridge. If so can someone explain me the steps to achieve the same?

If i were to open a Sync-Async bridge, I need to do the following
Step 1: Receive step to open the sync/async bridge
    Step 2:Asynchronous send step
    Step 3:Receive step
Step 4: Send step to close the sync/async bridge
    In my scenario.
Step 1: Receive the RFC's request message
    Step 2: ????
Step 3: Get the message from the file
Step 4: Transform the file's message to RFC's response message
Step 5: Send the RFC's response message
Moreover file adapter works in a polling mechanism..

  • SOAP to JMS using Sync/Async bridge - configuration confirmation needed

    Hi group,
Since I'm experincing error in a scenario using sync/async bridge in jms adapter I really would like a confirmation on my configuration.
    For a simple SOAP to JMS scenario is it then correct that all I need is;
    1) 2 synchronous message interfaces, 1 inbound and 1 outbound
    2) 1 Receiver determination
    3) 1 Interface determination
    4) 1 Receiver agreement (JMS adapter with module configuration)
    5) 2 Sender agreements (in my case 1 soap and 1 JMS adapter - the later with module configuration).
    6) The sender and receiver JMS adapters point to different MQ queues (request and response queues)
    7) The sender agreement for the JMS adapter uses my synchronous, inbound message interface (isn't this really just a "dummy" to actually fetch data from response queue - meaning that the actual utilized business system/service, MI and namespace are unimportant, since the module will make the adapter notify the listening module in the receiver JMS adapter?)
    Best Regards,
    Daniel

    Hi, thanks for your reply.
I'm familiar with the links provided. I believe everything is configured as it should be, but since I get error I would like to have my configuration confirmed. Neither the weblog (or SAP guide) are detailed enough to convince me 100% that my configuration is correct. Surely the problem could be on the MQ side, but before going into that, I want to be sure that its not on XI-side.
So I really would like confirmation on the steps/question that I wrote:-)

  • Possible to create globe [Xresources] file?

    Hi there!
I installed arch with standalone openbox WM, plus urxvt terminal emulator. Everything goes well but I want to change font & font size in urxvt, I need to create .Xresources file in my homedir, because "Xresources is a user-level configuration dotfile", as the wiki says. I'm wondering if I can create globe Xresources file for all users on my system, and how?
I'd like to refine common features as much as possible, for all users on my system, e.g, source pkgfile 'command not found' hook, command aliases for common utilities, colored man pages etc.
Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Trilby wrote:
None of the things you mention would actually go in an Xresources file.  They'd all go in shell profiles which *can* be system-wide.
    Mod note: moving to NC.
I HAVE made global change for /etc/bash.bashrc, to refine common settings for all users, like hook 'command not found'.
Now I'm doing is to create global Xresources for X app parameters, is this possible?

  • Is it possible to create a vi-file in an .exe file with labview 6.1i? and how to create it?

    Hello,
I want to create a vi-file into an exe-file but don't know how to do it with labview 6.1i.
Maybe somebody here can give me hints to do it!
    thank you very much!

To build EXEs you need the application builder. To see if you have it, open the tools menu. If you have an option named "Build application or shared library", you're OK. Just open it and you can set up your app there. To run this application, a computer would have to have the LV run-time engine, which can be downloaded from the NI site. For the first time you deploy the app, you should use the app builder to create an installer, which will install the run-time engine as well as your app.
If you don't have it you can purchase it seperately from NI.Message Edited by tst on 03-17-2005 10:42 AM

  • SOAP  - XI - File (Sync)

    Hi,
I have a question about the SOAP -> XI -> File scenario. Normally it is quite simple if I have one File receiver here. My scenario is a bit different. The SOAP client need actually to get information from the File Payload. It is logically like the DB server, one SOAP client needs get some information from server and send one soap request to XI, XI perorm one Lookup/Update/ what ever on the JDBC server and send information back to the client. Unfortunately we don't have DB server as interface but only File.
In this case the client send one SOAP request and we cannot say "look at file system at location xyz and get the file back, if there is one". How could we implement this scenario with XI without BPM ?
    regards,
    Hai

    hi hai,
    we can do like this.
why we use file adapter to make the conevrsions primarly
file format  to xml and XML to file format.
if u genrate a web request from a service then we need to pick the respective file for that request and pass it on to web response(SOAP response) this is what i understood.
go for webservice -XI- webservice scenario.
    asynch
XI people will publish interface with SOAP request as input.
SOURCE system people will call this interface for getting respective file.
now XI will fetch the respective file through UDF and will pass it to receiver system i.e they are ready to give SOAP resposne.
now source system people should write a program which consumes source response as input.
thereby they will publish webservice which takes the SOAP response and does the needful at the system level.
here SOURCE system is acting both as sender and receiver.
sender for sending file request and reciever for getting the respective data from XI.
there by its a WEBSERVICE-XI-WEBSERVICE asynch scenario.
FILE reciever is replaced because u r gonna take the functionality in UDF.
or u can also go for XSLT mapping.
    now
    1)GO FOR  a Message Mapping
in that give the source message type as SOAP request and taget message type as SOAP response.
and in the message mapping for the UDF(java program) which reads the file with respect to source file and generates the response.
2)create 1 interfaces which takes SOAP request as input
publish this interface which will be consumed by SOURCE system
3)XI will consume a webservice which is published by source system which ll process SOAP response.
interface mapping consiste of iNTERFACE CREATED BY XI and INTERFACE CONSUMED BY XI.
    create 2 SOAP ADAPTERS
    1)sender
    2)receiver.
hope this will give u the picture.
the power lies in XSLT mapping or java mapping or UDF.
think u ll be in right position to judge.
    any issue plz revert.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rama Krishna

  • Possible? To add new file types to Bridge?

When a file isn't listed in the file type list in the preferences, then Bridge (in Vista) doesn't allow me any changes for the "open with" function. It seems that I MUST live with Bridge's own handling for this file, even when it is false. (e.g. I already posted that Bridge falsely opens MindManager files using Safari)
From other management software I know that it is sometimes possible, to manually add new file types to the preferences, e.g. editing an ASCII/txt file where they are listed. This is less elegant, but I would do it, if no other choice. Is there such a file in Bridge? Or do you know an other way to add new file types?
    Thanks, Michael

    Hi,
You can not extend Oracle Data Mining to have your own algorithm.
However, you can integrate mining implementations within the DB via SQL, PL/SQL among others.
