Is it possible to deploy .fmx files to different directories on the 10g OAS

All,
I have 10g R2 App Server (10.1.2.0.2) with a BI & Forms Middle Tier.
Currently, all of my .fmx files are placed into the middle tier's $ORACLE_HOME/forms directory.
I use a URL similar to the following to run the forms in a browser:
http://machinename.domain/forms/frmservlet?form=test.fmx
I now have some additional applications that are coming online. Some of the .fmx files for the new application are named identically to .fmx files of my current application.
So I would like to be able to segregate all .fmx files related to each application into their own directories on the 10g OAS. I've been poking around in this form and on Metalink and so far, have not found any solution.
I've seen references to using the FORMS_PATH environment variable that that is not going to work for us.
For example, let's say that I have two different forms applications that have a file named frame.fmx. The frame.fmx form is completely different between these applications.
I would like to be able to put all of application 1's files into $ORACLE_HOME/forms/app1 and all of application 2's .fmx files into $ORACLE_HOME/forms/app2.
Is this possible when running forms on the web? What URL would I use to invoke the frame.fmx file in the app2 or the app1 sub-directory? Is there such a thing as virtual directories in forms?

Make different config's in your formsweb.cfg which include different default.env files
The url will then be something like
http://machinename.domain/forms/frmservlet?config=app1&form=test.fmx
http://machinename.domain/forms/frmservlet?config=app2&form=test.fmx
Where application1 and application2 are config definitions in your formsweb.cfg file.
[app1]
envfile=default_app1.env
[app2]
envfile=default_app2.env
In the different env files, use diffent FORMS_PATH environment variables.
default_app1.env: FORMS_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/forms/app1
default_app2.env: FORMS_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/forms/app2

we need to create one sender communication channel , in that we nend to use "adavnced selection for source file " for sending multiple files from multiple directories.
we need to create 'n' receiver communication channels and 'n' receiver agreements based on communication channels .
in receiver determination, provide multiple receivers

How to include header files from different directories?

Hi,
Sorry for the newb question, but I can't figure this out. I'm trying to compile a simple piece of code (C++) that uses header files in a directory different from the Project directory; header files are in /opt/csw/postgresql/include/pqxx. I've tried a few different things, adding that directory to the include directives under Resource Files, add existing files from a folder, etc etc. Whenever I try to build, dmake bails with status -1. I can't seem to get this working, can someone explain how to use header files from different directories?

Header files are usually specified relative to a base directory. If the base directory is not a system directory -- /usr/include or the compiler installation directory -- add a command-line directive
-I path/to/base/dirfor each such directory.
The path can be absolute, such as
-i /opt/csw/postgresql/includeor relative, such as
-I ../../my/includeIn your source code, specify the header file relative to the base directory, and be sure to use quotes, not angle brackets. Example:
#include "header.h" // right
#include <header.h> // wrongThe angle brackets are used for system headers, like <iostream> or <stdlib.h>.
The rules above are common to all compilers on Unix and Linux, and generally to all C and C++ compilers.

My scenario is File-XI-File. Based on a value of a field(1...Unbounded) & its occurance in source file XI needs to create same file number of times(based on occurance of field in source file) in different directories on receiver system(Single Business System).
What different ways/solutions are available to achieve this?

You can try out like this: Using multiple receiver interfaces you can send it to multiple directories with the help of enhanced interface determination/conditions and with the help of multiple receiver communication channels.
Another option is to copy the file from one target directory into another directory with the help of Unix script by executing the same from the OS command level.
One more option is to create a Java Server Proxy and inside the proxy, you can write java code to FTP into different locations.

Using something like DBMS_SCHEDULER you could issue a one off job for each script, as that package can call o/s commands.
However, what's the point?
You may as well, in the code above, just build up your DDL commands or whatever inside your code and, rather than write them out to scripts, use the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE command to execute the DDL against the database.
Of course may not be the best thing to be doing, but we have very little information about what it is that is trying to be achieved, and no reason given why all the functions, packages etc. aren't just put together in a single script that is executed from the command line in the first place. Why try and write PL/SQL to do it?

Drop the files into different directories based on the filename

I had a reqiuirement based on the file name, i should drop the files in to different directories.
I can get the filename through variable substitution in receiver file communication channel, now i want to drop the file into different folders based on conditions.
suppose, if the file name is DDDX234
i should do substring of filename0+(4), if the value is L then i should drop in X directory
suppose, if the file name is DDDY234
i should do substring of filename0+(4), if the value is L then i should drop in Y directory.
How can i drop the file into differnent directories based on filename.

I mapped the directory and filename to the target header in the mapping
Filename --> UDF --> Header(target)
and in the receiver channel checked the ASMA and given * in the filename and directory name.
But in runtime iam getting the error as
Attempt to process file failed with com.sap.aii.adapter.file.configuration.DynamicConfigurationException: The Adapter Message Property 'FileName' was configured as mandatory element, but there is no 'DynamicConfiguration' element in the XI Message header

A lot of my movie files are in the wrong place on my ipod - e.g some of my video podcasts are in my songs folder.
Is there anyway I can move the video files on my ipod into the correct place ?

I would like to submit the podcast to iTunes sometime soon...
However, I'm wondering if they will reject it because the feed lives on 'artistsofliving.com', whereas I keep the media mp3 files on 'livinginthepresent.com'... a different domain.
I own the mp3 content and both domains- I'm splitting the media from the website for bandwidth reasons.
Is this ok? If this causes a rejection straight out is there a way to indicate that I own the material fairly?

There's no problem about using media files from any source: the feed just has to reference them (the URLs have to be 'absolute' - i.e. including the http:// and the server name - even if the file is on the same server as the feed anyway). I don't see the fact that some files have different URLs leading to accusations of copyright breach.

How to deploy war file in different directory?

I know one simple way to do deploy a war file is to dump it in webapps directory without a need a set server.xml. However, doing so will also inflate the war file in the webapps directory, which is not what I want.
I want to be able to drop the war file in the Tomcat webapps directory, but automatically gets inflated in my project specific directory (say C:\projectName).
