Is it possible to have a "double set" of audio outputs?

Hi!
When working in our studio we use 3 daisychained FP10's as audio interface and an analog Soundcraft Ghost mixer. In Logic I have the outputs of the different tracks assigned to the 24 outputs of the audio interfaces. So when I playback I can do the mix on the analog board.
Now when I want to do some work at home (without the FP10's) I have to change all the outputs to "1-2". This is not so much work however when I get back to the studio I have to re-assign every single track back to 1 'till 24. This is a bit of a hassle.
Is there any way where you can have like 2 different sets of outputs? Say I work at home, all outputs go to 1-2 (headphone/macbook speakers/Duet) and when I get to the studio I click a button or do some keyboard shortcut and all outputs go back to their individual output that I assigned according to the FP10 interfaces/mixing desk lay out?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Use the bus sends ( not the output sends ) to send all of your tracks to a bus and make that bus your home output.
Select all tracks in the mix window and simultaniously send them all out at the same time.
This way you can still retain the output routing of the FP10's, but also use the bus for the new interface output at home.

Here's the deal:
I have a seamlesly looping 8 second video clip for my motion menu, but the audio file for that menu lasts 1 minute. For rendering time/disc space and bit budgeting purposes I would like to use the video file as a loop while the audio file plays trough in my motion menu.
Is it possible to have the video file loop while the audio plays trough, or do I have to make my video 1 minute long too?
Any help will be appreciated!

The video must also be 1 minute long too.
You could always loop the 8 second clip though.
Load up Premiere, add your loop & 1 minute audio clip.
Set 2 seconds silence at the head of the audio.
Loop your 8 second clip 8 times to give you a 64 second video clip.
This will give you 2 seconds of silence at the trailing end, but there is really no other way

Is it possible to have my Bluetooth Speaker and my output speakers working together simultaneously?

I have a Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker and a output speakers. My output consists of 2 Fisher Speakers and a Kenwood Amp that uses RCA to 3.5mm audio output. When I got the SoundLink Mini, I found out that I could no longer use both speakers at the same time. I've tried doing the whole "Audio MIDI Setup" tool, that still does nothing. I'm using a Late 2012 Mac Mini, 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, and a 733GB Fusion Drive setup. Can someone help me please..?

Do I have to use the same Audio Output and Input source???

In logic express 7.2.3 I can get everything to work fine except when I want to set my sound output to be different than the input device.
I want the Audio Input to be : "Roland USB device"
I want the Audio Output to be "Built in Output"
This works perfectly in Garage Band but not in LogicExpress 7.
As far as I can tell core audio in Logic only gives you the option to use the same device for input and ouput. This makes it impossible for me to record guitar or bass parts in Logic because in order to hear anything in Logic I have to set my systems sounds prefs to use my USB device for both Audio In and Out. This means the guitar is playing through my speakers regardless if LE7 is running or not... and when it is running I hear the guitar at speaker level which means I can't hear it at mix level or any of the effects that may be applied to it.

Thanks... I did that but and it works (sort of ) but now there is a HUGE amount of latency. The audio also starts to crackle after a while. I know this input device is a few years old and the latency could be better but it works completely fine with Garage Band so I'm not sure what to do.

Setting two audio outputs

Hi there,
Is it possible to set audio output to two sources simultaneously? I use Bose speakers as front speakers - these use an USB connection - and another set of cheaper speakers as rear speakers - these connect into the "headphone" hole. Is there a way to make my Macbook source the sound into both at the same time rather than selecting one or the other (under System Preferences / Sound)?

Is there a way to have Firefox respect the default audio output device when it has been changed while Firefox is open?

I have been a Firefox user for many years and I still use it as my primary browser. One problem that has bothered me for years is the fact that when Firefox is open and I change my default audio output device, Firefox doesn't respect that change and continues playing audio through the device that was originally being used. Even if you stop the audio and continue playing, the output device doesn't change.
Is there any way this can be configured in Firefox? Now if I listen to music online (e.g. Soundcloud) I always use Chrome since it's respects the default audio output device change even while in the middle of playing audio.
Reproduce:
1. Start playing audio (e.g. from a YouTube video; HTML5 and Flash are affected)
2. Change your default audio output device
3. Audio will continue to play from original output device

This is the same issue that has plagued me for years. I always thought that this was a Flash plugin issue, but it does occur on HTML5 as well. A friend of mine verified that this does not occur in Linux, but only on Windows. It would be great to have this fixed, as it's honestly the only thing that's making me use Chrome all the time, as I don't want to have multiple browsers open.

Setting default audio output in itunes

When I open iTunes 7.0.1, it changes my audio output preferences to a USB headset I have plugged into my computer (and which I prefer to keep plugged in at all times for using Skype). Is there any way to make iTunes default to the regular line out, built in audio, without disconnecting my headset? Every time I open iTunes now, I have to reset the system audio preferences to line out.

I figured out my problem. I have a plug-in called iWow installed in iTunes, and it was opening defaulted to headset sounds. Back to normal

Why do I have a double set of icons on top right after install?

After downloading and installing beta 4 i get double icons on top. I removed them by customizing but now when I open new tabs I dont have any way to close them as in no little x.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Hi! It is possible!
If you look in MAX your device's routes (open device and interfaces, select your board and choose the "Device Route" tab on the right part of the screen) you'll find all direct connections between terminals (green ones) and indirect connection (hovering your mouse on the cell that connects your source and your destination you'll see the sub-system used to route the signal).
With this being said, using labview you can create a new connection with "DAQmx Connect Terminals.vi" (all functions-->Ni Measurement-->DAQmx-->DAQmx Advanced-->DAQmx Signal Routing), using C functions you can call DAQmxConnectTerms ( int32 DAQmxConnectTerms (const char sourceTerminal[], const char destinationTerminal[], int32 signalModifiers) ).

I just got my macbook pro 11 have problems with setting up audio interfaces!! plz help me

So here it goes! i properly installed the drivers for my Emu tracker pre usb and for my saffire pro 40 (firewire) . Both audio interfaces show up in the system profiler under their respective category (firewire and usb bus) But i cant get them to apear in system preferences sound menu neither on logic!! my saffire pro doesnt even lock with the mix control software provided! what can be the problem ? how can i solve it ? I really need your help!!
(everything works perfect on my i mac 27" 10.6.2 snow leopard).

How to set preferred audio output device on macbook pro mavericks

I've got a pair of Harman Kardon bluetooth soundsticks that I use as my living room speakers. Some time ago, I connected my macbook pro to them via bluetooth, and now whenever I restart my macbook or move it away from the apartment and then move it back, it automatically finds the soundsticks, connects to it via bluetooth, and sets it as the default sound output device.
I would like the soundsticks to remain connected whenever they're within range, but I want my macbook's internal speakers to be the default sound output even if the soundsticks are connected. I can't seem to set output device preferences in the sound preferences panel.

How to set correct audio output while using external screen for presentation purposes over a wire

while trying to make a presentation or simply playing a video from my MacBookAir over thunderbolt/HDMI table to large screen I am experiencing problems with audio only being played from the MBA and not the soundsystem built in to that screen (unless using a VLS application and manually selecting the audio output target).
Please help in finding how to steer audio output device using 2in1 cable such as thunderbolt?

Can I set the audio INPUT to my pre-amp, and audio OUTPUT to the built in?

I am using Logic Express 7. I want to set the audio input to my Firefox pre-amp, but set the audio output to my computer's built in speakers. I want to essentially record into the pre-amp and listen to the playback through my speakers. I can easily do this in GarageBand, but haven't found a way in Logic.

The remaining problem I'm having is when I record into an "Audio" track via my microphone which is plugged into the Firebox, I'm still only hearing the playback from the Firefox headphone jack, not the computer's built in speakers.
Did you select your new aggregate device in Logic's audio preferences? If so, then the problem is probably with your settings in the control panel which controls the Firebox - I don't use it, so I don't know what it's called, but it controls the routing and monitoring for the Firebox. Check the Firbox manual - there are probably two settings, one for playback and one for direct monitoring when tracking.

If you've turned VoiceOver on then see if triple-clicking the home button turns it off, and then change what Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home is set to.
Otherwise, via 'the touch to select double-tap to activate' process you need to go into Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver and turn it off
The manual (http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad) also says that you should be able to switch voice-over off by connecting to your computer's iTunes :
Turn VoiceOver on or off in iTunes: Select iPad in the iTunes sidebar. In the Options section of the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access. Select VoiceOver, then click OK.
So select Configure Universal Access at the bottom of the Summary tab and set Seeing to Neither
