Is it possible to have two versions of Muse on one Machine? WhenI open Muse from my program menu in WIndows 7 it comes up the way I am used to. I did an upgrade a week or so ago and now I have an Adobe Muse CC 2014 on my desktop. WhenI open the application that way the GUI interface looksw totally different, more like Illustrator. What is that all about?
Since posting the above, I have resolved a sensible work-around in regard to ebookstores which prefer us to have separate accounts for our separate Adobe IDs.
However, I really would appreciate it if anyone here can confirm that a DRM controlled book does actually become associated with a particular Adobe ID account at the time of first download to Digital Editions on that PC/device.
Two large book stores have said using my account with them to download books to our two separate Adobe IDs is OK, but I don't want to find my husband is unable to open his downloaded books.

The question first, then the explanation for the question: Can I have both Safari 5 and Safari 6 on my machine and run them at the same time?
I hate Safari 6 & 7 because they combine the search and URL into one bar, which really annoys me. It requires an extra step when I type in the direct URL I want, because instead of returning the URL, it goes to a search page, and then I have to click the site I want. Annoying. So I have not upgraded from Safari 5 on my iMac, which I use nearly all the time. I have tried Firefox because it still has the search and URL boxes separate, but I also like the little orange arrow in Safari 5 that quickly takes me back to my original search when I've ended up on rabbit trails in my searching and I want to go back to where I was -- Firefox does not have this. (I dislike Firefox in general, anyway.)
However, now I'm finding that some websites are beginning to warn me that my browser (Safari 5) is too old and may not work properly. Now I have found a site for which indeed that is true -- a site I regularly use for my job, and a company which says they will no longer offer support for issues on Safari 5. One screen is split into two, and I could always scroll the two sides separately, but after an update to the site, now they will not scroll separately. I have a MacBook Air, which I rarely use, and tested the same page on Safari 6 -- it works on Safari 6. Thus, the company will refuse to help me and tell me to just update my browser.
I really like Safari, EXCEPT for the new versions' combined search/URL bar, so I want to keep using Safari 5. Thus, I want to know if I can have both Safari 5 and 6 on my machine at all, and if so, then I want to know if I can have them both open at the time, for example, if I give them different names (Safari 5 and Safari 6, rather than just Safari).
This is for my iMac, which is running Lion 10.7.5>>I could not see this reply in Safari 5, neither by refreshing the page nor by clicking "Latest reply," which did nothing.
That's a very common issue with the software that runs these discussions, and usually nothing to do with the browser. Pasting a single character reply, often reveals the missing item(s); as does viewing the thread without signing in first. -

I purchased Adobe Illustrator CS2 on CD many years ago and now i have bought a new iMac computer it won't let me install from the CD's. How can i use this product on iMac ?

I upgraded directly to OS X Lion and now dont have a copy to do a clean install. What do i do?
I upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard directly and didn't burn a copy of the installer. I want to do a clean install now. How do i do it?
You'll have to backup user file folders to a external drive (not TimeMachine), disconnect.
Go to the MacAppStore, log in and hold option key while clicking Purchases, supposedly you can redownload Lion installer which you can make a Lion boot DVD (of the complete OS) with.
(If not c boot off the 10.6.x disks and Disk Uitliy Erase/format your whole hard drive HFS+ journaled and quit, install 10.6.x and Software Update.)
Once it's downloaded you can make a couple of bootable DVDs here. (right click on the installer icon in the Dock and "show in finder")

Now install Lion again fresh and you'll have both a new Lion machine and the hold c bootable disks.
Once your up on Lion, then transfer the CONTENTS of the User file folders back into their respective folders on your new configuration. If you use the same user and hard drive name as before, your iTunes playlists and song pathnames will be preserved.
If you don't want to make boot disks, then simply Command R boot Lion and the Lion Recovery Partition you can erase and reinstall Lion that way as it will download it from the Internet (slow and glitchy)
Having the Lion boot disks has it's advantages, as you can reinstall Lion on a new hard drive you replace as well as other machines without needing the Internet. -
Two versions of Robo on one machine
I have RoboInfo 5 and RoboHelp 7 installed on my computer.
RoboInfo publishes to RoboEngine on Win 2000 server. RoboHelp 7
publishes to RoboHelp 7 Server on Windows 2003 server.
I recently upgraded to a newer computer. We re-installed
RoboHelp and then later installed RoboInfo again. Since doing this,
I'm not able to publish our RoboHelp projects. The server crashed,
and so far we haven't been able to get it going again.
Don't know if it had anything to do with re-installing the
software, but I think I remember reading somewhere in the forums
about conflicts that can arise between two versions of Robo on the
same machine. Is this a possibility, and is it recommended that
they be installed on different machines?
It is interesting that now in my RoboHelp projects folder,
the .xpj project icons show the RoboInfo icon, not the RH7 icon
(and RoboInfo was installed last).There can be conflicts between different versions but you had
both working OK before. I think the problem here is the order in
which you installed them.
As with most software that permits multiple versions to run,
the installation procedure is earliest first. -

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

Hi,
I have 2 node-locked licenses for Vivado.
I have installed one of these licenses in one server. It allows me to open more than one Vivado sessions. But I can run synthesis/implementation in only one session.
I want to be able to run synthesis/implementation simultaneously twice in the same machine.
Is it possible to install the 2nd license in the same server? If so, will it allow me to run 2 sessions of synthesis/implementation side by side and how do i install that?

I upgraded my iTunes to 11.0 and now I have a lot of missing music. How can I get it back?
Does anyone know how to find my missing songs? They are listed in my playlist but when I click on them I am told "the song could not be used because the origional file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" When I click on locate then I need to manually find it on my hard drive.

I accepted the latest 8.3 iOS upgrade last night which resulted in my not being able to turn on the iPad.
Following the troubleshooting guidelines I can get as far as the black screen by forcing a restart (holding both buttons) all I can see is the diagrammatic picture of the charger and the iTunes red logo. I cannot move on from here and the instructions indicated that a message should show offering the iOS upgrade - but this is not happening for me!
If anyone can help it would be hugely appreciated - many thanks.

It sounds like your iPad is in recovery mode after an error in the update process that may have occurred. The solution to this would be to plug it into a computer running the latest version of iTunes and press the restore button. This will ease the iPad and reinstall iOS. Hopefully you setup an iCloud or iTunes backup for the device. -
I did a factory reset on a droid charge, and now i have no network service , how can i fix this?
my droid charge locked in airplane mode,so i factory reset it, now when i try to get it working again, there is no service.
Try removing the SIM card, turn phone off, then reinserting it and powering the phone back on.
