Is it possible to load an html file on a frame

Is it possible to make a java applet refresh(load) an html file which is loaded on different frame in the same browser window. In other words a web page is divided into 2 frames. One has the applet and the other is refreshed when the applet request it.
Thanks

Try something like :
URL urlApplet = new URL(appletAddress);
// "rightFrame" is the name of the frame in the page
getAppletContext().showDocument(urlApplet,"rightFrame");
And a HTML page like:
<FRAMESET cols="35%, 65%" rows="100%">
<FRAME SRC="/AppletBrowse/AppletBrowse.html" NAME="leftFrame" SCROLLING="auto">
<FRAME SRC="/AppletResult/AppletResult.html" NAME="rightFrame" SCROLLING="auto">
</FRAMESET>
Is it what u want to do??

  • How to load different html files in one page in order to load them without leaving the main stage?

    Hello,
    I'm new with edge animate, but i fell in love with it.
    I'd like to know, is it possible to load different html pages dynamically in the main stage in order to avoid the preloader to be load?
    I can figure out how to save all the pages of the site, but i can't merge them in a continuous animated browsing experience.
    As sample.
    I've got a index.html and home.html, how to switch form index to home without having a clear division between the two pages?
    I can place all the animations within a file and this will allow me to have a continuous surfing experience but it won't generate specific and google indexable pages within the site.
    Example, index.html will generate www.mysite.com, home will generate www.mysite.com/home. How ho switch dinamically between them and integrate them in a unique fading experience?
    Thanks in advance for any help. I'm a newby, but i would like to learn.
    Fea.

    Look into using the Loader class to load the swf files.  If you want to have it happen in different frames then you can put the code into the different frames.

  • Is it possible to load a dump file collected from sql server to orcle 10gR2

    Hi..
    As a part of data migration from legacy systems , we need to migrate only required tables from Sql server to Oracle 10gr2 .
    At present client is telling that he will give it as dump file.
    My question is , Is it possible to load the dump file collected from sql server to oracle 10gR2?
    Thanks in advance ..

    yes, it is.
    Using for example SQL Developer Migration Workbench even allows you to create unload scripts for the desired SQL Server tables and it also creates the DDL scripts for you to create the Oracle tables similar to the SQL Server table AND it alows creates the SQL*Loader scripts that allow you to load the SQL Server generated dump file into the Oracle db.
    Here the link:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/migration/workbench/index_sqldev_omwb.html
    If you do not want to use this utility, you can also use SQL*Loader to load the content of the SQL Server dump file into the Oracle database; but in this case you have to write the whole SQL*Loader control scripts on your own.

  • Is it possible to load an html page inside a JavaFX application?

    Hi
    Is it possible to load an html page inside a JavaFX application?
    Thank you!
    Alexandra.

    Actually it is very simple to load an HTML page inside a JavaFX application.
    var html:JTextPane = new JTextPane();
    html.setPage("http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/message.html");
    Stage
        scene: Scene
            content:
                ScrollView
                    node:SwingComponent.wrap(html)
    }A JavaFX application "tainted" by Swing is still a JavaFX application, isn't it?
    Loading an HTML page into a native JavaFX control would be a different story. It is hard.
    I don't think it is a top priority for JavaFX team to develop a control to render HTML. Using a Swing component, which supports HTML well, does not make a JavaFX application inferior. But, if JavaFX team could make a fully functional embedded browser control supporting HTML, JavaScript, etc., I would applaud that effort wholeheartedly.
    Right now, JTextPane inside a JavaFX application will crash the system, display gibberish, hang for ever or go haywire inexplicably, if JavaScript is used in the HTML page.

  • How can I make this possible? Loading another html, into a table?

    Hello everyone!
    Im using Dreamweaver CS3. I have a website thats all image based - which is not good because google or any search engine cant really pick up any keywords. So I have a table filled with images, Id like to take an image in the center out, and put in some type of code that says "load blah.html into the current row and collumn of this table. I attached an image of what I mean.
    Id like to do this because it will be easier for me to update 1 html file and have it load that into the master html file. Is this even possible?
    If anyone is interested in checking out the source of the page im working on please feel free to go here:
    http://www.ryandeyoung.com/home.html
    Thanks in advance for anyones help.

    Well, I mean 1 row and 1 column, sorry - but when I go to type something in there it starts typing in the middle - is there a text field I can stick in that empty spot? Where I can write whatever and for it to be as long as I make it, without making the master table change in length?
    Here's an example of some scrolling text inside a table cell...
    http://dreamweaverresources.com/tutorials/scroller.html
    Easy enough to see how it's done, I've provided the code  :-)
    You can set up the scrolling div in the table cell and then use an include file to populate the text into that div...  that way,, you can make changes to the include file and it will be updated automatically on the page.
    Here's a quick and easy article on creating server side includes  (SSI).  Use this to create your 'include file' that goes into that scrolling div.

  • How do we load a html file from a folder on a sdcard into a webview panel c# windows phone 8.1

    Every time a character is made in my app it is saved to an html file named after it in a folder called RpgApp on the sdcard
    so if the characters name is john smith then there will be a john-smith.htm located in RpgApp folder on the sdcard
    now that bit works great
    the app also makes a list of buttons each one named after a file inside the RpgApp folder (so in this case there would be a button named john-smith.html ) and the content is the same as the name so it displays as john-smith.html
    each button has the following method on click
    private void htmlButtonClick(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
    StorageFolder externalDevices = Windows.Storage.KnownFolders.RemovableDevices;
    string curDir = externalDevices.ToString();
    Button button = sender as Button;
    Uri result = new Uri(String.Format("file:///{0}/RpgApp/"+button.Name,curDir));
    web.Navigate(result);
    now the idea is that when you click the button the webview control (aptly named "web") loads up the content of the file (you notice button.name as part of the url? well thats because the buttons name is the file name :)
    but instead the browser remains unmoved, just sits thier blank
    to test i changed web.Navigate(result); to web.NavigateToString(button.Name);
    and sure enough when ever i clicked a button the webview displayed the name of the button i clicked
    any ideas?

    Hi D.Eastwick,
    I will recommand you read the html file content from the folder in the sd card and convert it to a string, after that we can use the
    NavigateToString method to load the html content in the WebView.
    Besides, please try to do a test by puting the html file in a
    LocalFolder and use the URL like this: "ms-appdata:///...." to see if it works.

  • How to load an html file in Text Box using script?

    Hi,
    does anyone know what is the sequence of commands for inserting an html file in a text object, if possible, via vbs?
    Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the Commands and Variables for the text object (aka user object) in the help. Where I can search for them?
    Thank you!

    Hi def90,
    Sorry for the confusion. In that point the help information is not correct. We can only import RTF and ASCII via script but not HTML. We are going to change the help for that.

  • How to load local html-file into webBrowser tool? [SDK 6.5]

    The webbroser tool lets you load an external html by inputting the adress in its "Url"-property.
    But how do you load a local html-file that is added to your project? Lets say the path is: Folder1/Subfolder1/Webpage1.html. What would I put in the Url-property to make this work?
    While on this subject, what is the support for css and javascript when using locally loaded webpages in the webbrowser?

    Thanks for the answer Malleswar, but I have now played around with all variations of that code-line that I can think of, but still I can not locate the html-file that is located within the project. Since Im planning to distribute the html-files with the executable (as one file) it should read it directly from wherever the application is installed.
    The html-file is included within the project. Solution Explorer -> Solution 'myProject' -> myProject -> Webpage1.html
    Which is (as usual) also where the Form1.cs (which contains the webBrowser-component) is located.
    Any ideas of how the Uri should be constructed in this case?
    Thanks,
    Daniel

    if you know which tag could contain the word "failure" then i think it is possible to search in graphical mapping.
    >>If its present then i need to update a particular value if not then other value.
    you said "particular value". Is it in the target message type, if yes, then you can decide.
    I am not sure, whether your requirement and the purpose of using PI for this go together.

  • Possible to access an .html file stored on media card?

    I have downloaded web pages I built from my computer to the media card in my Blackberry 8310. After opening MEDIA on the home screen, I can click the menu > explore > navigate to the .html file and it will display.  Javascript does not function, however, even if it is turned on and is functional with web sites through my browser.  I presume I am having this problem because I am not viewing the file using a browser with this method.  This lead me to the thought of accessing the file through my browser.  When I start my browser then use the menu key > Go to, I cannot find the proper format command to access a file on the media card.  I am attempting a similar request as using a browser on a puter then typing c:\directory\file.  I have used the file//C:\ format along with other formats to no avail.  I am not sure if the device has a name.  I have tried Device:\ but that doesn't work.  I tried \Media Card and that doesn't work either.  I moved the files into devce memory hoping I could access it.  I would appreciate any help with either method I have tried.  Thanks, Ted

    I doubt it is possible. Pages is fairly limited when it comes to html.
    I would try finding another application or send the files as pdf. PDF may not be a good idea in marketing material, as the receiver may not even open the file, but if you present it in a nice way, it may work.

  • Is it possible to load additional JAR Files?

    Hi,
    I was wondering if it is possible to load JAR files into an existing application. That is, if i have already deployed a JAD file onto a phone and have it running, is it possible to load additional classes into this program to use with the current program?
    This is because depending on user decisions, different classes are needed and having all of them at once will use to much memory.

    No, it's not possible.
