Is it possible to open a LabView VI in a Webbrowser or an HTML-File?

I want to know if it is possible to run a LABVIEW vi (Version 7.0) in a Webbrowser or a HTML-File.
Are there Browser Plugins or other possibilities to create Self - running VI`s ?

All you need is the LV Runtime Engine installed on the machine where you want to view the running vi.
Additionally you can create standalone running vi's with the LV Application Builder which creates LV executables. These executables are also compatible with the remote panel functionality.

Okay, I found the code but I can't get it to work locally. If you have a web server maybe you can upload the files (swf and html) after you Publish them:

you have to have on the stage a link element called "testlink" (see the code above) which would be a Movie Clip with the label testlink. It can be anything from InDesign: a button, a rectangle, a circle, a graphic, you get the idea. Just select that object in Flash and label it testlink or anything you choose but if you change the name from testlink also change the name in the code snippet where the line "addEventListener" is.

How to save vi designed in Labview 7.0 express, so that it opens in labview 4.1 ?

I have student version of Labview on my computer and have designed a vi in it. However my lab as Labview 4.1. The "save with options" gives only option of saving it for 6.0 version. How do I save it so that my vi opens in labview 4.1

Every LabVIEW version only saves in the previous version, so you would need 6.1, 6.0, 5.1, and 5.0 to convert to 4.1.
The main problem is that many features got added with each version upgrade, so it might not be possible to convert everything back if you use any new features in your VI (e.g. event structures).
If the VI is rather simple, it might be easiest to just rewire it in 4.1. You can also post it here, maybe somebody has all versions still installed and can do it for you. (I can currently only go back to 5.1, earler versions are no longer installed).

Is it possible to open up an excel file inside a Web Browser not IE?

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to open up a pivot excel file inside the a web browser, but i don't want to use Internet Explorer for that i'd prefer firefox for that.
I have a web application that uses an excel file for one of its reports but i don't want the user to have to download the file in order to view the report and that particular report has various ordering criteria so i don't want any of the funtionality of the file to be lost in the process, so is it possible to do it? what tools would help me acomplish that?

I don't think this is possible.
You may be able to make it display in Firefox if the file is defined as the XML Excel format and not the xls or xlsx formats. But that would require saving the file differently and you would most likely loose all/most functionality
You may find some Excel translators in Java (most notably POI from Apache). But they would still require you to adapt them to web format and you would have to duplicate much of the Excel functionality yourself. So it would be a long term option.
You could check out Google Docs. They have a spreadsheet application that I believe can convert Excel files to their format. You may be able to use it inside your web site with permissions.

Not possible to open/create a new connection within BT manager on Satellite M40

Bluetooh manager is open and present in system bar.
However it is never possible to open/create a new connection within bluetooth manager as it always say "bluetooh is not ready". Troubleshooting is required but no clear indication is available; button for wireless link is active and I am able to have wifi internet access at the same time.
It is never possible to open access to a PDA or mobile phone for file transfer through bluetooth.
Do i have to reload completely the bluetooth stack or is there another way to troubleshoot the bluetooh system?

Remove the Bluetooth Monitor software if it is installed. Download the latest BT-stack v5.10.06 here:

and install it. Ensure that the wireless switch is turned on and the suitable antenna is selected.
Press Fn+F8 key to select BT antenna. Selection menu only appears if WLAN and BT is inside.

Ok let me ask you IF the IT department of your workplace does NOT want OS X installed on "THEIR" (The Companies) computers because of what they think is some type of security issue why are you trying to go against their wishes and install OS X on a computer that is NOT owned by you.
That could cost you your job.
If you continue down this path you will screw up the Windows install and have to take the system back to the IT department to get it fixed. What do you think they will say at that point?
Do as you like but you would be better off just buying your own Mac computer if you are set on using OS X as your personal operating system.

Actions Possible Without Opening Raw File in Photoshop?

Is it possible to record certain actions on a raw file without opening the file in Photoshop?
Let's assume I have 250 files, all needing lens correction (and maybe other common tweaks) as a basic first step. I'd like to be able to record an action that (1) opens my NEF file in ACR; (2) makes the lens correction based on the profile for the particular lens I used; (3) [other tweak--say noise reduction]; (4) [other tweak--say color temperature]; and then (5) closes the file generating nothing but the .xmp file.
Then when I go to work on each file, all my basic corrections have been made so that when I reopen later in ACR, I only have to make custom changes before finally opening in Photoshop.
I've tried a few things, scanned the forums, checked the online help center, gone through a few Adobe TV tutorials, but I can't figure out how to do it.
Any help?

No...an Action is something that records something in Photoshop. Yes, an Action can record ACR settings....but you need to actually end up opening the image in Photoshop and it will render the file.
What you really want to do is to look into Camera Raw Presets and using them while in Bridge. You would open a representative image, adjust the image, save a preset and then apply that preset to as many images as you want to in Bridge. Also note you can open multiple images in ACR, select them and adjust multple images at once. You can also adjust an image and then in Bridge, copy the settings from the one file and paste them to others.
Lots of way to accomplish what you want but not really by Actions in Photoshop.

It works for the first time when I click the button, a dialog window opens with my FPM GAF stuff.
But when I click the button the second time after closing the dialog window, it generates a dump with error message saying u201CComponent Usage Group MESSAGE_AREA_USAGES Already Existsu201D.
In ST22, the dump was generated in WDDOINIT of view u201CMAINu201D on FPM_GAF_COMPONENT which looks to me like the message manager is already created in the first time.
