Is it possible to RE-CREATE table

is it possible to re-create a table in indesign and insert same data by reading  data in another table using plugin.if their is a table with data exist as indesign document,can we create new table by inserting data that was already their in the previous table using c++ plugin.

It sounds like you're an InDesign developer. Questions of that kind should be asked here:

  • Generate Create Table Statements

    Hi, the problem is:
    My company want to migrate our SQL Server DB to Winwows Azure Server (currently we have our own domain and server), but Azure doesn't support the sentence 'Into' to create temporary tables, so we should replace all 'Into' sentences to corresponding 'Create
    Table' statements. Our system have up 1000 SP's with 'Into' sentences and many SP's have a lot of them.
    My question: is possible generate a 'Create Table' statement automatically, from a 'select into' sentence? i want to know if Management Studio or external tool have this feature o something similar.
    Sorry for my poor english but this is not my native language.
    Thanks!

    Try this one on for size. Run it against your existing DB. It'll give you create scripts you can use on your new DB.

First of all your CREATE TABLE statement is full of syntax errors. Next time test it before posting - we don't want to spend time on fixing things not related to your question.
    Now, I bet you check COMPRESSION value of partitioned table same way you do it for a non-partitioned table - in USER_TABLES - and therefore get wrong results. Since compreesion can be enabled on individual partition level you need to check COMPRESSION in USER_TAB_PARTITIONS:

  • 30EA3 - Edit Table/Create Table(Advanced) - Table Name, Text Box Size

    I am not sure if its the same on non-Linux versions, but in the edit table dialog, the table name text box size is tiny. Its only wide enough that you can see approx 7 chars.
    Is it possible to increase this? The size of the text box in the simple create table dialog seems like a good size. As far as I can tell, it is not tiny to conserve space for other items.
    Anyway, it's just a minor issue that wont prevent me from doing work - just think it'd be better a bit bigger. I am sure it didn't used to be this small.

    oh interesting.
    are you using openJDK?

  • How to create Table in a Table without a ViewLink for Master/Detail

    Hi,
    Can we create a Table within Table in OA Page without using a view link. Need a Master Detail records to be displayed but I can't use a ViewLink. Is it possible to
    have a Table within Table without using a ViewLink. As I have DetailVO with multiple bind variables. I tried ViewLink but it didn't work so wondering if can achieve this
    using table in table without ViewLink
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I created a Table then in the table I created a detail in which I created another table I created a transient view attribute i.e. DetailFlag that I set to my outer table. When I run the page it does show me the Master records and showhide link but when I click on the show it throws an error saying:
    oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.jbo.NoDefException: JBO-25002: Definition  of type Attribute not found
    Even though all the items in Detail table are attached to VO attributes of DetailVO
    As I have a different MasterVO query with some bind variables and the DetailsVO query is different with some bind variables. Now how do I capture when a user clicks on Show and at that time wants to get some values from a selected master row and pass them to my DetailVO Query so the detail data for that selected master row shows. How do I get handle to the selected Row Data so to get the some values that need to be passed to the DetailVO.
    I tried following the guide but am not able to have it functioning.
    Here is what I have in my controller's processRequest method
         OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
         System.out.println("******* 1");
         am.invokeMethod("initializeTables");
         OATableBean table =
          (OATableBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("OuterTable");
        if (table == null)
          MessageToken[] tokens = { new MessageToken("OBJECT_NAME", "OuterTable") };
          throw new OAException("AK", "FWK_TBX_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND", tokens);
        table.queryData(pageContext, true);
        System.out.println("******* 2");Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Create table statement in Dynamic SQL

    Hello,
    I am trying to create a table as a select query through a PL/SQL block using dynamic SQL. Following is the query,
    declare
    stmt varchar2(2000);
    begin
    stmt := '''CREATE TABLE output AS SELECT PATIENT_ID, FIRST_NAME FROM employee''';
    execute immediate stmt;
    end;
    it throws the following error.
    declare
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement
    ORA-06512: at line 5
    I have tried to execute the statement without the variable and it executes fine. I mean,
    begin
    execute immediate ' CREATE TABLE output AS SELECT PATIENT_ID, FIRST_NAME FROM employee ';
    end;
    works flawlessly. Can you please help me with this.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    declare
    stmt varchar2(2000);
    begin
    stmt := 'CREATE TABLE output AS SELECT PATIENT_ID, FIRST_NAME FROM employee';
    execute immediate stmt;
    end;Nothing different from what Anurag has shown above.
    But you will have to consider a few things.
    1) Since it is possible it is not a must to use it
    2) It is considered a bad design where in you have to create tables on the fly.
    3) Consider if it is absolutely required.If u can give us an idea of your requirement.I am sure the Gurus here can give you suggestions
    4) this kind of design will lead you into trouble sooner or later for sure

  • Not inserting records in a newly created table

    Hi everybody,
    I have imported four tables in a source module and used the Join Operator in order to insert the rows in one newly created table.
    This table - designed in a target module - was created in the desired schema , but without the relevant rows , as I expected...
    NOTE : the where clause , i have defined in the Join Operator, is not the problem , as I removed it and the rows are not inserted...in the table
    Also , the sample PL/SQL code which was created automatically , was exactly as I expected - I mean the 'insert into ... select.....' clause was right...
    What may be the problem..?
    Thanks , a lot
    Simon

    Hi Jaap,
    thanks for your reply...
    Sorry for being a little unclear ...
    I have followed the instrunctions in the on-line help of OWB , and :
    1) have imported four code tables into a source module . The tables are in an Oracle RDBMS 10g .
    2)I have created manually a table - using the OWB client tool - which consisted of some of the columns found in the four tables .
    3)I have inserted a Join Operator in order to correlate the four table columns with the columns of the target module.
    4)I have defined the Join condition of the the four table columns. In my first post , unintenionally I have written that I removed the Join Operator. I meant the Join Condition in order to make sure that the join condition isn't the reason that the records are not inserted....
    5)I have validated and generated the mapping without any errors - not even warnings.
    6)I have selected Project->Deployment Manager and I selected the OWB_RUN user - which is the Runtime Repository owner.
    7)I have selected the objects to deploy - the mapping , the one table I created in the target module. The deployment has succedded , and the table was created but no records are found in it.
    Now , is there a possibility that this problem is caused by absence of the privileges to insert the rows...?
    How can I check that the source tables are filled on the registered location of your source module?
    Another basic question...
    I have created a Runtime Repository owner - called owb_run- using the Runtime Repository Assistant . I use this user in order to deploy the mapping and the new table. I want -and it is created- that table in another schema (user his_dw) - even another database in the same server. Should I run the Runtime Repository owner in this schema (his_dw)???
    Thanks , again a lot

  • Stored procedure for creating tables

    Is it possible to create a stored procedure which only contains create tables? I prepare everything on an environment and want to transfer everything, except the data, on anothe environment. Therfore I thought of an stored procedure which does everything automatically. Additional I want to create a package which contains all necessary stored procedures (which are already finished). Is it better to insert the create-table-lines in the package?
    Thanks for your help!

    PL/SQL is not the appropriate tool for this.
    What does Oracle RDBMS products like Apex use to install? SQL*Plus scripts. A combination of SQL code and anonymous PL/SQL blocks.
    This is also what we use to install any one of a dozen Oracle systems we have developed.. it is as simple as running 'sqlplus "/ as sysdba" @installer <tablespace> <schema> <password>'.
    Trying to do this type of thing in PL/SQL... lots of disadvantages, lots of complexities, and very little (if any) benefit.

  • Is it possible to find the  table based on the Date ?

    Dear Team ,
    Is it possible to find the table based on the Date ?
    I have created an table ,But forgot the Table Name .
    Is it possible to find the Tables created on particular Date .
    Regards ,
    Augustine

    as date is record the time also below query will work.
    select * from user_objects
    where
    object_type = 'TABLE' and
    to_date(created,'DD-MON-YYYY') =to_date('<your date value in DD-MON-YYYY format>','DD-MON-YYYY');

  • Unable to create table with column default value with date interval

    Please help to create table with calculated date defaullt value:
    CREATE TABLE emp (
      birth_date  DATE  DEFAULT sysdate + interval '3' day NOT NULL
    or
    CREATE TABLE emp (
      some_date DATE,
      birth_date  DATE  DEFAULT some_date NOT NULL
    or
    CREATE TABLE emp (
      some_date DATE,
      birth_date  DATE  DEFAULT some_date + interval '3' day NOT NULL
    below syntax error:
    TT1001: Syntax error in SQL statement before or at: "+"

    I'm afraid this is not possible; as per the SQL Reference, TimesTen only supports 'constant expressions' for the DEFAULT clause and none of these are constant expressions.

  • Is it possible to have 2 tables with the same name in an Orable database?

    Hello,
    I'm a complete Oracle newbie so please excuse my question if it's stupid.
    I was trying to create 2 tables with the same name using different tablespaces but it does not seem to work. Like this (second time just change the name of the tablespace):
    CREATE TABLE test_tbl (
      id INTEGER,
      status VARCHAR2(10),
      last_modified DATE DEFAULT SYSDATE
    TABLESPACE tblspc1Is it in general in Oracle possible to acquire this goal?
    Thanks a lot!
    P.S. I have already created the needed tablespaces
    CREATE TABLESPACE tblspc1 DATAFILE 'tblspc1.dbf' SIZE 10MEdited by: 808239 on 02-Mar-2011 02:18

    It is not possible to create two tables with same name in same schema.
    A user can own one schema with his own name and another with the schema name SYS.
    For this you have to grant sysdba privilage to the user and then have to connect using sys password or with the password specified in password file.
    But this still you have to access to the table in sys schema using sys.table_name.
    Hope Answered tthe Question.

  • Help with oracle sql to get all possible combinations in a table.

    Hello guys I have a small predicatement that has me a bit stumped. I have a table like the following.(This is a sample of my real table. I use this to explain since the original table has sensitive data.)
    CREATE TABLE TEST01(
    TUID VARCHAR2(50),
    FUND VARCHAR2(50),
    ORG  VARCHAR2(50));
    Insert into TEST01 (TUID,FUND,ORG) values ('9102416AB','1XXXXX','6XXXXX');
    Insert into TEST01 (TUID,FUND,ORG) values ('9102416CC','100000','67130');
    Insert into TEST01 (TUID,FUND,ORG) values ('955542224','1500XX','67150');
    Insert into TEST01 (TUID,FUND,ORG) values ('915522211','1000XX','67XXX');
    Insert into TEST01 (TUID,FUND,ORG) values ('566653456','xxxxxx','xxxxx');
    "TUID"                        "FUND"                        "ORG"
    "9102416AB"                   "1XXXXX"                      "6XXXXX"
    "9102416CC"                   "100000"                      "67130"
    "955542224"                   "1500XX"                      "67150"
    "915522211"                   "1000XX"                      "67XXX"
    "566653456"                   "xxxxxx"                      "xxxxx"                       The "X"'s are wild card elements*( I inherit this and i cannot change the table format)* i would like to make a query like the following
    select tuid from test01 where fund= '100000' and org= '67130'however what i really like to do is retrieve any records that have have those segements in them including 'X's
    in other words the expected output here would be
    "TUID"                        "FUND"                        "ORG"
    "9102416AB"                   "1XXXXX"                      "6XXXXX"
    "9102416CC"                   "100000"                      "67130"
    "915522211"                   "1000XX"                      "67XXX"
    "566653456"                   "xxxxxx"                      "xxxxx"  i have started to write a massive sql statement that would have like 12 like statement in it since i would have to compare the org and fund every possible way.
    This is where im headed. but im wondering if there is a better way.
    select * from test02
    where fund = '100000' and org = '67130'
    or fund like '1%' and org like '6%'
    or fund like '1%' and org like '67%'
    or fund like '1%' and org like '671%'
    or fund like '1%' and org like '6713%'
    or fund like '1%' and org like '67130'
    or fund like '10%' and org like '6%'...etc
    /*seems like there should be a better way..*/can anyone give me a hand coming up with this sql statement...

    and this is sitll getting picked up.That's why you should use the _ wild-card, instead of %
