Is it possible with out BPM- update transaction from flat file - XI -RFC

Hi
my requirment is: i need to update 2 values transaction(ks01)
Required data we get in flat file(Val1,Val2), that data needs to be updated in transaction KS01 in r/3 system.
Scenario is: Flat file - XI - Rfc -KS01.
im have come across couple of doubts while thinking this way:
->is it possible using fie -to- rfc scenario to update KS01 transaction in R/3 system through RFC, if possible some body please explain the complete process to implement this scenario.
->is it possible file -to- rfc without BPM in XI
can somebody please help out me, how can i approach for the above requirment

The BAPI / RFC corresponding to your requirement is :
BAPI_COSTCENTER_CREATEMULTIPLE
You scenario on a high level would be FILE-XI-RFC
in your IR, map the corresponding fields of the fiel to the fields in the BAPI's interface.
As BAPI is synchronous , you may have to use BPM to implement the Asynch-Sync bridge.

Now For this scnario i need to add any more modules in the Adapter configuration..
As i am not receiving any responce...in a file...

I do not know if you already solved this issue.
I was facing the same problem and I've figured out that my CC (in Module screen) was set up with the wrong Parameter Value for the Parameter Name "receiverService".
That occured because I had changed my Service name when I moved my scenario to production.

IDOC Number from payload in Alerts with out BPM

Hi Everybody,
I need to send the IDOC Number as Alert for the user.
Is it possible to do with out BPM either by Alert Frame Work or CCMS?
Is there any alternative way to capture the Idoc number and display for the erroneous messages?

You can also do it via alerts.
Alert can be triggered in different ways.
1) Triggering by Calling a Function Module Directly. or from UDF

We are on XI 3.0 sp14. Alerts with out BPM are not working. I want to apply notes 906044, 876546. It says i need to make some changes to the following functions. I could not able to find these Function modules in the first place. Can some one help me out?

Login into XI Developement and give SE37 Transaction. Then you give SXMS_ALERT_ERROR_RECEIVE and click 'display'.
Then you check for the methods CL_XI_ALERT HAS_ACTIVE_RULE, CL_XI_ALERT_UTIL GET_MDT_URL, CL_XI_ALERT CREATE_ALERT and make the changes according to service notes. If you dont find this methods in this function then you can try in SXMS_ALERT_ERROR_SEND.

Hi All,
I have scenario File to Web service (SOAP) to File scenario with out BPM.i am getting the below error:
1) Error MP: unexpected exception caught com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.impl.exception.CPAObjectKeyException: Value of key must not be null: ObjectId
2) Error ROB: error during processing: com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.processor.ModuleProcessorException: Processing Error
PI server is 7.1 with SP:8
I have configured the scenario like this
1) 2 File channels - Sender & Receiver ,1 RFC channel - Receiver. We need to note that, the additional Module parameters need to be added only for sender File channel
2) Created Sender Agreement
3)Created Receiver Determination
4)Created Interface Determination
5)Created Receiver Agreement

Data is not updated to Infocube (BI 7.0) when i load from flat file

Hi Experts,
               when I try to load data from flat file to Infocube (BI 7.0) with full or Delta, I am gettin following errors.
1) Error while updating to data target, message No: RSBK241
2) Processed with Errors, Message No: RSBK 257.
Till transformations everthing is successful but updating data to cube is not successful...
what is the message no. indicates? can i find solution anywhere with respective to Message NO.?

                   There is no problem with cube activation.But i try to activate the cube by using
the function module " RSDG_CUBE_ACTIVATE". It goes to short dump.Anyhow i want to know
that in what scenario we use this function module to activate the cube.
         There is no special characters in the file. I delete the requests in psa, cube and Re run the
Infopackage & DTP.But I am getting same error.
The following errors are found in updating menu
of details tab (display messages option)
1) Error while updating to data target, message No: RSBK241
2) Processed with Errors, Message No: RSBK 257.

Hi All,
We are BW 7.01 (EHP 1, Service Pack Level 7).
As part of our BW project scope for our current release, we will be developing certain reports in BW, and for certain reports, the existing legacy reporting system based out of MS Access and the old version of Business Objects Release 2 would be used, with the needed data supplied from the BW system.
What is the best way to export the data out of BW into a flat file on the Server on regular intervals using a process chain?

Hello Shashi,
some comments:
1) An "open hub license" is required for all processes that extract data from BW to a non-SAP system (including APD). Please check with your SAP Account Executive for details.
2) The limitation of 16 key fields is only valid when using open hub for extracting to a DB table. There's no such limitation when writing files.
3) Open hub is the recommended solution since it's the easiest to implement, no programming is required, and you don't have to worry much about scaling with higher data volumes (APD and CRM BAPI are quite different in all of these aspects).

Loading transaction data from flat file to SNP order series objects

Hi,
I am an BW developer and i need to provide data to my SNP team.
Can you please let me know more about loading transaction data (sales order, purchase order, etc.,) from external systems into order based SNP objects/structure. there is a 3rd party tool called webconnect that gets data from external systems and can give data in flat file or in database tables what ever required format we want.
I know we can use BAPI's, but dont know how. can you please send any sample ABAP program code that calls BAPI to read flat file and write to SNP order series objects.
Please let me know ASAP, how to get data from flat file into SNP order based objects, with options and I will be very grateful.

L_INTERN : internal table with your fields .
make sure that the fields in the Excel should be formatted (as numeric , characher ) depending upon the data types .
LOOP AT L_INTERN INTO WA_LINTERN .
 MOVE WA_LINTERN-COL TO L_INDEX.
 ASSIGN COMPONENT L_INDEX OF STRUCTURE WA_INREC TO <FS> .
 IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
 MOVE WA_LINTERN-VALUE TO <FS>.
 ENDIF.
 AT END OF ROW . "#EC *
 APPEND WA_INREC TO IT_DATA. "

I have to load transaction data from 4 tables into 4 ods and these 4 ods data will be loaded to 1 info cube.so please tell me the best method whether to use 4 info sources for 4 ods or can i define all the info objects in one info source and use the same info source for all ods objects.

How r u ?
1st could u tell, the loads are from Flat File or Tables ?
coz ur Subject and the Message is getting clashed.
If u use Flat Files, then better go for 4 IS and 1 ODS is enough. Then update the cube.
If u r going to extract from Tables, then you have to create the Data Source using "Extraction from Views", for this u should have common key fields in all the 4 tables. In BW DataSource to InfoSource mapping should be 1 to 1.

You need a Script Task to read the names and number of columns in the first row of the flat file each time and store it in a variable, then create a staging table dynamically based on this variable and modify the destination table definition if one ore more
new columns need to be added, and then use the staging table to load the destination table. I am afraid there is no available working script for your scenario, and you need some .NET coding experience to achieve your goal. Here is an example you can refer
