Is iweb using HTML,PHP or ASP

I can't use iweb any more to make my webside, Apple stop the space in internet, I need to find andother space ,but first need to know what
was the grammar of iweb ?

What nonsense - of course you CAN STILL USE iWeb to make your website.  The fact that MobileMe is no longer makes no difference at all, as iWeb and MobileMe are nothing to do with each other whatsoever.
iWeb is an application on your Mac and you can continue to use this to both build and maintain your website for as long as it continues to work with your OS - it works with Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion.
MobileMe however, was Apples hosting that has now closed down - at the end of June this year and iCloud has taken over, but does not provide web hosting.
All you need to do to continue to use iWeb and host your website is to find a new web host and purcahse a domain name if you don't already have one.  Take a look at http://www.godaddy.com and http://www.hostexcellence.com for starters and there are many more if you do a Google search.
You can however, continue to use iWeb.

  • How create pdf using HTML+PHP+FDF

Hi! Some time ago I wanted to prevent my pdf file of distribution (copy) to other computers. It turned out that this is impossible (without DRM). Thus I came up with the idea - to generate pdf using HTML+PHP+FDF. I created a PDF template using Acrobat Pro. Access to the site with a generator forms will be payable.
    I want to do this:
    1. the customer fills out a form on the page
    2. Customer clicks the "Generate" and then opens a pdf file in the browser ready for printing
    3. Can I in this situation protect the file that a client could not change the form data?
If the file after generating the client will be able to download the file to your hard disk and write data to a form - this is no security. Is it possible (after generating) automatically protect a file against modification?
    Sincerely
    Matthew from Poland
PS. I'm sorry for my english:)

This is not possible with FDF and PDF template.

  • How to use HTML Video for iPad in iWeb

I agree with all the advantages of HTML Video. How do you use html video on your iweb site?
I want my iWeb site video to be viewable on iPads.
I have learned the technique to use the HTML Snippet tool in iWeb to successfully post Flash video. I created all of my animations using Kenote's keyframe ability and have exported them to Quicktime and then have converted them into flash with Vertical Moon's Video to SWF. Then simply upload the SWF file to a folder on your idisk, then use the Flash Video insert HTML Snippet and insert the idisk url of the SWF file and you are done. What is the technique for HTML Video?
I have found some HTML video encoders, here are the links:
http://www.projekktor.com/ the technique is not clear to me and appears complicated.
http://www.brightcove.com/en/ this one is way too expensive at $99 a month.
http://jilion.com/sublime/video this one looks great but is not yet available and I am guessing it is a converter that will make your iMovie Quicktime into HTML Video.
I have all of the i-Apps and Final Cut Express (2 revs out of date). Can I get the proper HTML video file from these programs, unless I am missing something I don't think so.
Most people do not believe I made my site completely with Keynote and iWeb but here it is. http//www.falcon-pacific.com
Thank You Very Much for considering my question. I will put the results on my iWeb site and the exact procedure and acknowledge all the sources of the solution.

I want my iWeb site video to be viewable on iPads.
Your videos ARE viewable on a iPad. No need for explicit HTML video coding.
If you export your movies to iPhone that's all there is to do. You can do it in QT Pro/iMovie
And HTML Video is a HTML code, not the movie itself :
    <video width="480" height="270" src="movie.m4v" controls></video>
I use the iPad simulator in the SDK :

  • Use PHP or ASP to grab part of another site

    Hello all,
I have permission to grab certain contents of pages of a site
    that is a
static site. The static pages are updated fairly frequently,
    otherwise,
I would just copy and paste.
I'd like to grab all code that is within a standard div tag
    with an id
and insert it into my pages.
Is it possible to do this with script? I'm a beginner at both
    PHP and
ASP, so any pointers would be great.

It's certainly doable with PHP. Do a Google search for screen
    scraping
with PHP or page scraping with PHP. You'll find quite a few
    tutorials.
The theory isn't all that difficult, but a lot depends on
    your PHP
setup. You may need to use cURL or a socket connection if
    your host has
disabled allow_url_fopen. It would also be a lot easier if
    the target
page is valid XHTML and you have PHP 5. You could then use
    SimpleXML to
loop through the page nodes to find the ID you want.
Rather than try to scrape the page every time somebody
    accesses your
site, I would suggest scraping on a regular basis, say once
    an hour, and
storing the content in a text file or a database. Of course,
    that means
you need the ability to run PHP files as scheduled events.
It would be much simpler if the other site used a text file
    as an
include. You could then grab the include yourself. Much
    simpler, much
    less hassle.

  • How to use html Tags from MySQL with PHP

I like HTML tags like <b>bold</b> or <BR>

Just store the HTML as plain text in your database. Using
    htmlentities()
turns < into &lt; and so on. Using it is what's
    preventing your HTML
    from displaying correctly.

  • Uploading a file using a php script while running application with LCDS

Hi! I developping an application under Flex 2 / Java -

  • How to see Design View when using ?php require("header.htm"); ?

    Hello
I'm new to DW CS4 and have what's probably a simple question, but I can't figure it out.  I have a basic html website in which I'm using php require to call  header.htm and footer.htm files.  In CS4, when I open any page in the Design or Split view, it displays the header.htm file.  The only way I have been able to view the content of the page is to delete the php require code in Code View.  I then edit the page after which I have to paste the require code for the header.htm file back in before saving.
Is there an easy fix for this?
    Many Thanks!

Thanks for your response.  All of my pages are php pages in which I use the php require command to display a header and footer.  In CS4, when I open any page from my site in Design or Split view, all I can see is the header.htm file.  I cannot see any of the content from that particular page.  I have to go into code view and delete the <?php require("header.htm"); ?> from the code.  The I can view and edit that page's content after which I have to paste the <?php require("header.htm"); ?> command back in and load the saved file to the server.  A royal pain in the butt.

  • Php and asp on same server?

    Just a quicky?
Can I run both php and asp on the same server?
Some one has a website produced using asp (don't know a thing about that language) but I'd like to use the server it's on and redo some of the stuff using php just retaining a few pages which use asp, possible or not?
    Cheers

    Hi
Yes, you can do this, (just not on the same page). I would recommend checking with your server provider first though.
    PZ
    Sounds promising:)
Nope, I don't want to mix and match on the same page. There's a couple of pages that I probably don't have the experience to do so I can just give them a visual makeover but retain the asp part.

  • Create complex site with no HTML/PHP knowledge {subject edited by moderator}

I have zero knowledge about web design, i want to create a website that would feature thousands of users creating accounts and writing articles, and for that i think i need to create it using php language, my question is how can i learn it, both the basics, language and how to do it step by step on DW?

Contact Facebook and ask their team of web developers how they do it.   Seriously, this is no project for a rank beginner.  Without advanced coding skills and a very good grasp of web server security, you are in over your head.  DW is a tool.  It's only as good as the person using it.

  • HELP! Can I view a site I created with iWeb using a personal domain?

Sorry in advance if this question has already been addressed. I too am sort of a newbie to iWeb. I just purchased a domain name through Google Apps. I would like to create my website through iWeb using the domain name ("www.youngvoters08.com") that I already purchased through Google Apps.
At this point, I'm incredibly confused. Is it possible to type in my domain URL (that I purchased through Google Apps) and have my iWeb website come up? I set up my personal domain through .Mac and I even tried publishing its contents to a folder (that was even more confusing). The personal domain option says it will take up to 48 hours to link to my domain.
All I want for Christmas is to be able to type in "www.youngvoters08.com" and be directed to the site I created on iWeb (as opposed to creating my site through Google Apps). Is this at all possible? And does it require me to be patient for 48 hours?
I'm afraid that the .Mac personal domain option means that I have to have already created a website with another service provider, and it doesn't mean that the personal domain I already purchased ("www.youngvoters08.com") will take me to the website I created through iWeb. I'm also weary that I wasted $10.00 by buying a personal domain through Google Apps, especially if I cannot create the contents of my website through iWeb.
Did that make any sense at all??? (Sorry for the confusion and redundancy:)

If you have both sites on one domain file - that is they both load into iWeb at once - click on the name of site 2 in the sidebar and drag it to the top of the list so that it is now in the #1 position. Now do a "Publish all to .Mac".
Your domain name URL is being directed to the index.html file in the Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites folder. This file opens the site that is at the top of the list in iWeb or, if you are publishing your sites individually, the last site that you uploaded.

  • Does iWeb utilize html 5?

Pardon my ignorance, I'm relatively new to the web design side of things. Just wondering if iWeb utilizes html 5 technology? Apple seems to be a big proponent of it and yet, to the best of my knowledge iWeb doesn't generate html 5 for its websites. I'd be interested in any knowledge or thoughts any of you can pass along on this topic.
    Cheers,

HTML5 is very much in its infancy. Its the browsers that need to be updated before it will be much use and universally adopted.
Have a look at how the various browsers differ in the way in which they display and audio player...
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/Website-Music-Movies/HTML5-Audio-Player.html
IE up to and including V8 don't support HTML5. V9 beta is the first to do so.
When around 60% of PC users still use IE V 6 &7, how can we move on?
