Is SBO2007 XL Reporter supported for MS OFFICE 2010?

HI Experts,
As above, and where can I find a matrix that tells me what is supported where? This will make everyone know where to go for when they have such question. I searched the net but no avail.
Warmest Regards,
Chinho

Hi Chinho,
If you are a partner then you can access www.service.sap.com/smb/sbo
Click on Product Availability, from here you can click on Support Platforms to see things such as Server platforms, client platforms, client software etc.
In answer to your question, it states: Support of Microsoft® Office 2010 with the SAP Business One release tracks 2007 and 8.8 is planned to be provided in Q3/2010.
If you are a customer you may be able to get it from the Customer portal but I'm not sure.

Adrian

  • Office Plug-in : support for MS Office 2010 version

We tried to use the Office Plug-in that is available with OBIEE version 10.1.3.3.2 for MS Office 2010 version.
It does not work and throws an error message that indicates Office 2003 or Office 2007 are the versions that are supported.
    Questions:
    1. Is there a patch available for this plug-in that will work with Office 2010 version?
    2. Does OBIEE 11.1.1.3 (Current release) support Office 2010 through the plug in? If not any insight into when Office 2010 is supported by the OBIEE Office Plug-in
Also, I heard that Office Plug-in and Smart View are going to be merged into a single product in the future releases... any thoughts on this as well.
    Thanks
    Sundar

We raised a support log few weeks back on this. The answer Support gave:
At the moment, Office 2010 is not certified against the current release of OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 and OBIEE 11.1.1.3.0
Oracle is planning on Supporting MS Office 2010 on with BI 10.1.3.4.2 and 11.1.1.4.0. No official eta's for the releases at this stage.

  • I was getting support for my Office 2008 for Mac, and the support tech said my OS was very slow. I have latest update for Snow10.6.7. Question how can I speed up my Macbook?

I was getting support for my Office 2008 for Mac, and the support tech said my OS was very slow. I have latest update for Snow10.6.7. Question; How can I speed up my Macbook?

    Hi
In the first instance, I'd use Onyx and run through its sequence of maintenance and tune up tools:
    Verify, Maintenance, Cleaning.
I'd also reset the SMC and PRAM (Google them)
If that doesn't help then I'd look at System Preferences.. > Accounts > Login Items tab (not Login Options).  Check what processes get started at login and decide which ones you don't want.
After that I'd use Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor to see if any processes are using a lot of computer power or if anything else nasty might be happening.
If none of this helped then my final step would be to reinstall OS X.

  • Unable to activate after Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) is deployed

I'm having a very strange issue with deploying the "Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455)". Here's what I see:
Deploying to a Windows 7 SP1 system fully patched as of 7/29/2013
    Using SCCM 2007 R3
Task Sequence installs Office Professional Plus 2010
Task Sequence installs Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455)
The Office Professional Plus 2010 install was configured to use our key using the Office Custimization Tool (setup.exe /admin)
When I try to activate the suite using any of the installed applications (word, excel, outlook or powepoint) I get the error "An unspecified error has occurred. Your request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later. (0x80070190)"
If I repair the install then try the activation again it works right away. This is a good work around for single installs but for my needs of multiple system deployment and for pushing out the Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) to other systems
in my environment this will not work.
Can anyone please suggest a solution to this problem?
    Thank you,

    Hi
According to my research, this issue occurs when one of the following conditions are true:
If you have CD emulation software installed, a registry key is preventing the hardware ID from being acquired.
A required registry key is not set correctly or is missing.

  • Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010 Problem

    Dear all,
I encounter a problem after installed the crystal report version for Visual Studio 2010. Once I call
                           ReportDocument.PrintToPrinter(1,False, 0, 0)
    The error message prompt:
Report is unavailable(Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name:index)
    If I try
                             ReportDocument.PrintToPrinter(1,False, 1, 1)
It can print the 1st page of the report.
I also try to create a simple report. It works.
After installed this version, my reports also encounter the same problem in Visual Studio 2008.
My report has sub-reports. My PC is Windows XP.
Anybody has idea on this issue!?

Now you can set the various printer options using the PrintOutputController. I'm using a UI box to select the printer but your developer should be able to figure this out. If not you can include him in the e-mail, it would be fine to go direct. Of course you will stay in the thread:
         private void btnSetPrinter_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e)

  • How to find product key for Microsoft Office 2010?

I purchased an HP Pavilion dv6 a couple of years ago. At the time of purchase I also ordered a license for Microsoft Office 2010. The laptop came with Office already installed, and everything worked great for years.
Earlier this week I had to do a full system restore to get my laptop back in working order. I backed up all of my user files, found installers or original installation media for all of my software except for Office, and proceeded with the system restore.
I just got everything running again this morning. The system restore put a clean copy of the OS on my laptop, but Microsoft Office is gone. I've just about finished re-installing all of the other software, but I need some help with Office.
Since my laptop didn't come with installation media for Microsoft Office 2010 I'm trying to donwload it from here:
    https://www2.downloadoffice2010.microsoft.com/usa/registerkey.aspx?culture=en-US&ref=pkc
It asks for a product key for Office 2010 in order to start the download. The product key for Microsoft Windows is on the bottom of my computer, but I can't find a product key for Office. (Before anyone asks, yes, this is the full version of Office 2010, and yes, I paid for it at the time of purchase of the laptop.) I kept all of the paperwork that came with the computer, but I can't find the Office product key anywhere in that packet. Is there somewhere else I should be looking for my product key?
Better yet, does HP still have a copy of my original purchase order for this laptop, and do they store product keys for the products they sell?
    Thanks,
    Tom

Neither HP nor Microsoft keep a record of the key that was issued.  If you cannot find it in your documentation or emails I'm afraid you are out of luck and would have to purchase another key.

  • Connect to MS Office button is Grayed out - for both Office 2010 and Office 2013

    Hi
I have recently implemented Sharepoint 2013 Standard for a customer.
I have got everything to work so far except one important thing, from any Ms Word or Ms Excel application save as SharePoint is missing. While having a closer look I noticed that Connect to Office button is grayed out in SharePoint.
During the initial setup, I created the site collection using Team Site template under collaboration. All researching is pointing me to user profile setup with my site host under enterprise section in site collection.
I have confirmed that the clients are opening sharepoint from 32bit browser and they have sharepoint handler add on enabled in IE. I have also followed the below guide
    https://mywinsysadm.wordpress.com/2011/07/28/sharepoint-connect-to-office-for-new-document-creation/
However, I cant actually see any user profile feature as the guide suggests, I can only see "create personal site" under manage profile service section.
I have searched & searched and I am not finding any solutions to this problem.
can someone point me to the right direction please? is it purely because the site collection is not a My site Host?
All I need is for users with Office 2010 or Office 2013 to be able to save a document directly in sharepoint.
Note - Connect is outlook is working fine though.

    Hi jawad,
As navigating to a SharePoint Library and clicking 'Connect to Office', the link to document library is added to
http://[mysites]/_layouts/15/MyQuickLinks.aspx. So, you need to make sure you have your personal site.
After creating your personal site, please visit
http://[mysites]/_layouts/15/MyQuickLinks.aspx, check whether it can open well.
More information about creating MySite, you can refer to:
    http://blog.sharedove.com/adisjugo/index.php/2012/07/25/visual-guide-setting-up-my-sites-in-sharepoint-2013/
Then go to IE Options->Programs->manage add-ons, make sure all add-ons related to SharePoint are enabled.
Here is an article, it may be useful for you:

  • Crystal Reports Version for Visual Studio 2010 Fails to Install

    Hi -
I am trying to install the CR redistribution package for .Net 4.  When I run CRRuntime_32bit_13_0.msi I get an Error 1904 when it tries to register the commonobjmodel.dll.  If I manually register the dll using regsvr32 I get the following message:
"The module 'commonobjmodel.dll' failed to load.  Make sure the binary is stored
at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files."
The dll does exist and is in the correct directory.  Is there another installer I should be using?
    Thanks.

Entering "1904 crystal" into the search box at the top right corner of this page, gives the following KB:

  • Support of Microsoft office 2010.

    Hello,
I have a quick question if you please help me out.
Is Microsoft Office 2010 Professional edition supported in Windows server 2012?
So this seems like there has to be a problem with the Microsoft Server 2012
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks

    Hi,
As far as I know, Office 2010 could be supported to install in Windows server 2012.
Supports only the 32-bit edition of Office 2010:
Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (SP3)
    Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2), MSXML 6.0
    Windows Server 2003 R2
Supports both 32-bit or 64-bit editions of Office 2010:
Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 (SP1)
    Windows 7
    Windows 8
    Windows Server 2008
    Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2)
    Windows Server 2008 R2
    Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
    Windows Server 2012
    Terminal Server
Windows on Windows (WOW) which allows installation of 32-bit versions of Office 2010 on 64-bit operating systems, excluding Windows Server 2003, 64-bit and Windows XP, 64-bit.
Doesn't support any edition of Office 2010:
    Windows Server 2003, 64-bit
    Windows XP, 64-bit
    More referance:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee624351(v=office.14).aspx
Then, the following versions of Office are supported on Windows 8 and on Windows Server 2012:
    Office 2013
    Office 2010
    Office 2007
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/office_resource_kit/archive/2012/11/12/which-versions-of-office-are-supported-on-windows-8-and-on-surface-with-windows-rt.aspx

  • Support for  MS Office (esp full Outlook and Contacts) on MacBook Pro.

I recently purchased my first Mac - a MacBook Pro.  I'm addicted to Microsoft Office (esp Outlook and Contacts) and share my Contact between my work (Windows laptop) and my personal laptop (now a MacBook).  I purchased MS Office 2008 for Mac however it didn't come with Outlook or Contacts.  When I called Apple they told me to purchase an Apple iCloud app for my old Windows based laptop ... however that's no help since my old laptop is ready to die any day now.
Has anyone found a solution for those of us addicted to MS Office and especially Outlook and Contacts?
By the way the Word that came with MS Office 2008 for Mac keeps crashing ... any tips on that?

No, and there is no Publisher either, and if you are using iCloud be aware that no version of Office for Mac will work with it (except for email) no contacts, no calendars, no tasks.

  • Ecxel and Report Generation for Microsoft Office

    Hi,
I'm trying to do move measurement data to a predefined Excel template. I
need to put data into same template from different measurements into
different places of the template. If the template (and Ecxel) is closed
accidentally outside LabView 7.0 it creates troubles. (Next time Excel do
not open correctly etc.) Is there any way to detect when Ecxel is closed
outside LV. Any other good ideas to prevent Excel to crash or other
    solutions.
    Thanks in advance EJ

Unless you must have Excel visible for some reason, the best approach is to make Excel invisible when you open the application. Feed the Excel application object into a property node and set property "visible" to false. Then the only way for a user to close Excel is to end the process in the Windows Task Manager.
