How to find product key for Microsoft Office 2010?

I purchased an HP Pavilion dv6 a couple of years ago. At the time of purchase I also ordered a license for Microsoft Office 2010. The laptop came with Office already installed, and everything worked great for years.
Earlier this week I had to do a full system restore to get my laptop back in working order. I backed up all of my user files, found installers or original installation media for all of my software except for Office, and proceeded with the system restore.
I just got everything running again this morning. The system restore put a clean copy of the OS on my laptop, but Microsoft Office is gone. I've just about finished re-installing all of the other software, but I need some help with Office.
Since my laptop didn't come with installation media for Microsoft Office 2010 I'm trying to donwload it from here:

It asks for a product key for Office 2010 in order to start the download. The product key for Microsoft Windows is on the bottom of my computer, but I can't find a product key for Office. (Before anyone asks, yes, this is the full version of Office 2010, and yes, I paid for it at the time of purchase of the laptop.) I kept all of the paperwork that came with the computer, but I can't find the Office product key anywhere in that packet. Is there somewhere else I should be looking for my product key?
Better yet, does HP still have a copy of my original purchase order for this laptop, and do they store product keys for the products they sell?

Neither HP nor Microsoft keep a record of the key that was issued. If you cannot find it in your documentation or emails I'm afraid you are out of luck and would have to purchase another key.

New computer.. Product key for Microsoft Office?

I recently purchase a new notebook assuming Microsoft Office would be installed and ready to use. It is installed but asks for a product key to use. I did not receive a product key with any of the paper work for the computer. Is this program not included already, or do I need to buy the program?

There is no such thing as a trial anymore so that is incorrect. IT has Word started on it which allows you to use basic functions of word and excel. You don't get an actual code as it is just the basic use of it, not like a full version.

Unable to activate after Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) is deployed

I'm having a very strange issue with deploying the "Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455)". Here's what I see:
Deploying to a Windows 7 SP1 system fully patched as of 7/29/2013
Using SCCM 2007 R3
Task Sequence installs Office Professional Plus 2010
Task Sequence installs Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455)
The Office Professional Plus 2010 install was configured to use our key using the Office Custimization Tool (setup.exe /admin)
When I try to activate the suite using any of the installed applications (word, excel, outlook or powepoint) I get the error "An unspecified error has occurred. Your request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later. (0x80070190)"
If I repair the install then try the activation again it works right away. This is a good work around for single installs but for my needs of multiple system deployment and for pushing out the Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) to other systems
in my environment this will not work.
Can anyone please suggest a solution to this problem?

According to my research, this issue occurs when one of the following conditions are true:
If you have CD emulation software installed, a registry key is preventing the hardware ID from being acquired.
A required registry key is not set correctly or is missing.

Need To Find Product Key For Windows 8

It's my son's laptop and I bought it brand new in January 2013. It crashed two months later. I tried to get help through HP but to no avail. They told me to update the BIOS, which I did, and it worked for maybe a week and crashed again. I had a friend wipe it and start over twice after that because it just kept crashing. I then called HP, since it was still under warranty, to have them send me a new one since this one was obviously defective and the lady with whom I spoke said she would have someone call me back to help me. This never happened. I just gave up on it and bought another laptop in March 2013...the same exact brand, model, specs, etc. and have had absolutely NO problems with it since. I've since decided that it merely needs a new hard drive, which I am more than happy to purchase and install. It is the only thing my son has asked for as a Christmas present this year. The problem I have is that I don't have the product key for the OS. It came installed with Windows 8 and I have read through several other messages and understand that it is not something you can buy, however, I do believe, and feel that I am entititled, to have the product key so that I can properly fix my son's laptop. After all, it was a defective laptop/hard drive with which to begin and since HP support was actually of no support whatsoever HP should be willing to help with this situation. I have only ever used HP for desktops and laptops and have since 2001 and this is the first product I have purchased that was probelmatic.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft did away with OEM product key stickers starting on all PC's that come with W8.
The OEM product key is now encoded into the BIOS in order to prevent it being used on other PC's.
So, your notebook does have a product key.
You just can't read it and if you order recovery media for the specific model notebook, or use a Windows 8 OEM installation disk you won't need the key.
It will automatically enter itself during the installation.

Use transaction SE11 to display the table. Put the cursor on the field you want to display the check table and click 'Foreign key' push button (a key with an bottom point arrow), then it will show the check table of the foreign of a field.
Or by just simple double click on the field, a pop-up window of all the attribute (including the foreign key and the check table if exists) will show too.

Locating product key for MS office

my HD was replaced on my iMac at an Apple service center. The transfered my old HD info onto the new HD but when I try to open MS Office 2011 I get an error message saying I need to type in the Product Key #. I have two imacs with their own MS Office 2011 program installed and discs I used for each computer. I did not write down which install disc I used for each computer.
Is there a way to find out which KEY # was used on the imac that is still able to open/use MS Office 2011?

Most new notebooks come with a trial version of Microsoft office. It is not a free program.
You will have to purchase an activation key from the Microsoft store or another vendor to activate Microsoft Office 2013. If you purchased it when you bought your notebook from HP there should be documentation from your order that proves that to be the case. If you have the documentation that proves that to be the case, then contact HP.

How to Find Product Key

I recently took over as a Tech Coordinator at a K-12 school. I have group licensing for Adobe Captivate 3. My predecessor wrote the product key on the outside of the case with pen and now it is smudged. I sent an Email to Adobe support but they said that they cannot find the serial number in the registration database. Is there any way to find the product key? Perhaps through the registry? Thanks in advance for the help.

If your notebook came with the English version of W8 64 bit you can download the correct W8 ISO file and use this tool to make a bootable flash drive to install it, and it should work just fine. You need a 4 GB flash drive.

If you do not have the English version of W8, then you will either need to buy recovery disks for your specific model or purchase W8 OEM for the language your OS came in or buy Windows 7 and we can probably try and find the drivers you need as W7 is not supported by HP in W8.
Recovery disks from another model will not work. Has nothing to do with the product key.

Can't use product key to reinstall Office 2010 Professional Plus

I have used a legal copy of Office 10 for several months now. Recently my version of Windows became corrupted and I had to reinstall Windows, as well as all of my software. I reinstalled Office 10 Professional Plus and used my previous product key and am
told that it is not an Office 10 product key.
I attempted to go through the process of reclaiming the key at the Microsoft website but it does not find my Office product registered there. I'm not sure what to do at this point in time. Any suggestions?

Problem with Reporte Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office 2010

When I use the Report Generation Toolkit (LabVIEW 2010), and Office 2010, the tables generated are bad.
In office 2007 in the tables are correct.
Someone can help me solve this problem?
