Is there a built in OA bean for pop windows?

Hi All,
I have requirement to create a pop window on a column in table region.
This pop window will take parameters from the VO associated with the table and populate with additional information.
Is there a built in pop window bean that can be used. Or the only option is to create a custom page and have javascript :window.open function to have pop window functionality?
Thanks

Yup, no popup bean provided by the framework. Only option is to use javascript handled windows.

Is there a downloadable iTunes Version Available for OS Windows ME? If so, please let me know. Here is the situation.
I would like to import some classical music that I have in my Windows Media Player to iTunes so that I could burn the music to a CD.I am unable to burn the music in the WMP program because the Adaptec Easy Cd Creator is not compatible with the newer version of the WMP. Also, the Roxio program is not available for the older version of Windows ME. Any help would be appreciated in this matter.
    Thank you.

If there is, folks running OS 8 and previous who hang out here might not know about it. But folks in the iTunes for Windows forum probably used to run it, and can help out a lot:

  • Locking exceptions for Pop-windows and loading image automatically Preferences setting

How can i lock the two exceptions button for POP-up windows and load imagae automatically option.

You can lock the image exceptions via pref.advanced.images.disable_button.view_image
I do not see a pref to lock the pop-up exceptions on the about:config page (filter: disable_button)
A possibility is to hide that button via code in userChrome.css (#popupPolicyButton {display:none!important;}), but that needs to be done for each profile.

  • Is there a built-in web service for FND_REQUEST.submit_request  API?

This is with regards to EBS Concurrent Requests and their execution.  I am doing a PoC around this EBS integration.  In this regard, I needed some help.  I would like to know, does EBS have any built-in mechanism that could expose the FND_REQUEST.submit_request  API as a web service method?  If so, could you please point me to some documentation around the same?
Or, is there any alternate way that this could be achieved, in order to execute a Concurrent Request as a web service?

    Hi All,
I was able to find the answer to this.  Use Integrated SOA Gateway.
    1. Login to EBS as a user with Integrated SOA Gateway role access
    2. Select Integration Repository
    3. Navigate to Applications Technology -> Application Object Library -> Concurrent Request -> Submit Request
    5. Click Generate WSDL button
    6. Once the WSDL gets generated, you can select the Username Token policy and Deploy the FND_RQUEST as a service.

  • Code Snippet for Pop-Window

    Hi Colleague,
I need to show a pop-up window on an event. How can i achieve this in ABAP WD.
    Code Snippet would be helpful.
    Regards,
    Piyush

    Piyush,
When you create a pop up window using code wizard, you'll get a OK button by default. By clicking on it the pop up window will close. Or if you want to place a OK button in the view that is present in the pop up window and want to close the pop up by clicking on it, that is also possible. Just Put a button in the pop up view and use this code in the ONACTION method of that button:
    data:
                l_api         type ref to if_wd_view_controller,
                l_window_ctlr type ref to if_wd_window_controller,
                l_popup       type ref to if_wd_window.
                l_api         = wd_this->wd_get_api( ).
                l_window_ctlr = l_api->get_embedding_window_ctlr( ).
                if l_window_ctlr is bound.
                l_popup       = l_window_ctlr->get_window( ).
l_popup->close( 'l_popup' )." pass the pop up view name here
                endif.

  • How to parse a string in CVP 7.0(1). Is there a built-in java class, other?

    Hi,
I need to parse,in CVP 7.0(1), the BAAccountNumber variable passed by the ICM dialer.  Is there a built-in java class or other function that would help me do this?
Our BAAccountNumber variable looks something like this: 321|XXX12345678|1901|M. In IP IVR I use the "Get ICM Data" object to read the BAAccountNumber variable from ICM and then I use the "token index" feature to parse the variable (picture below).
Alternately, IP IVR also has a Java class that allows me to do this; the class is "java.lang.String" and the method is "public int indexOf(String, int)"
Is there something equivalent in CVP 7.0(1)?
    thanks

  • Data Palette not showing Managed Beans for Dynamic Web Project, JSF 2.1

    Hello.
I have a problem in OEPE (oepe-juno-distro-win32.zip), where the Data tab in Palette shows no Managed Beans,
even if I created them in the ManagedBeans in faces-config.xml using the Faces Config Editor.
I have created a Dynamic Web Project with these Facets:
    Dynamic Web Module 3.0
    Java 1.7 (JDK 1.7_21)
    Java Annotation Processing Support 5.0
    JavaScript 1.0
    JavaServer Faces 2.1
    JSTL 1.2
Oracle WebLogic Web App Extensions 12.1.1
I am using Oracle WebLogic Server 12c 12.1.1 zip distribution for hosting the application.
For example, I have a UserBean Managed Bean of Session scope, that has 3 String fields
and the respective getters and setters.
I create a "test.jspx" file, and from the Palette -> Tags tab -> JSF HTML I drag a Form into
the new file so I can connect it to UserBean and generate a form to enter its details.
I select the "Generate a form tag and content from data" and in the Choose Bean dialog
there is none of my Beans.
    What could be the problem?
    Thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention the Oracle WebLogic Web App Extensions version 12.1.1 and that also
for JSF 2.1 the "sub-directory" Faces Configuration below the project in Project Explorer is not
existent, as in projects created with earlier versions of JSF.

Yes, they are both listed under the WebLogic System Libraries.
This is the content of .classpath file when using WebLogic System Library:

  • Creation of CMP bean for a Composite Primary key????

    Hi
i am having a composite primary keys in one of my table in the database.
I am trying to create a new entity bean for this table but i don't know how to create one in case when there is a composite primary key for a table.
Can anybody let me know is it possible to do it.
what is the procedure to be followed for the creation of the Entity bean in case of a composite primary key.
I am using MySql as the database .Creating CMP type of Entity bean.
Any help in this regard will be greatly useful to me as this is very urgent.
    Thanks & Regards
    Vikram K

    Hi Nikola,
There are several problems with your CMP bean.
    1. Fields of a Primary Key Class must be a subset of CMP fields, so yes, they must be either a primitive or a Serializable type.
    2. Sun Application Server does not support Primary Key fields of an arbitrary Serializable type (i.e. those that will be stored
as BLOB in the database), but only primitives, Java wrappers, String, and Date/Time types.
Do you try to use stubs instead of relationships or for some other reason?
If it's the former - look at the CMR fields.
If it's the latter, I suggest to store these fields as regular CMP fields and use some other value as the PK. If you prefer that
the CMP container generates the PK values, use the Unknown
    PrimaryKey feature.

  • Is there any form of system cleanup  for mac air

is there any form of system cleanup for mac air

    How to maintain a Mac
    1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; make them independent of each other. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine. If you get an indication that a backup has failed, don't ignore it.
    2. Keep your software up to date. In the Software Update preference pane, you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis. This is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible.
    3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this stuff is useless, or worse than useless. Above all, avoid any software that purports to change the look and feel of the user interface.
The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
As a rule, the only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Use your computer; don't fuss with it.
Safari extensions, and perhaps the equivalent for other web browsers, are a partial exception to the above rule. Most are safe, and they're easy to get rid of if they don't work. Some may cause the browser to crash or otherwise malfunction.  Some are malicious. Use with caution, and install only well-known extensions from relatively trustworthy sources, such as the Safari Extensions Gallery.
Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it. Otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    4. Beware of trojans. A trojan is malicious software (“malware”) that the user is duped into installing voluntarily. Such attacks were rare on the Mac platform until sometime in 2011, but are now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be acquired directly from the developer. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from a web page without your having requested it should go straight into the Trash. A website that claims you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, is rogue.
In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
    5. Don't fill up your boot volume. A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a boot failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem. While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage consumption and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.
If storage space is running low, use a tool such as the free application OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the most space. Move rarely-used large files to secondary storage.
    6. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.
