Is there a "draft" or "normal" view in Pages?

I am used to working in "draft" or "normal" view in MS Word. I would like to use Pages the same way--without having to see the page breaks, since they take up a lot of space on the screen. Is there a way to do this? I am using "one up" and am hiding the layout. But I still see several inches of blank space around every page break. Full screen doesn't get rid of it either.

What you get in Pages is Pages's normal view.
There is no draft mode in this app.

Can't open normally viewed web pages

Pages that I normally view, were even put on my Toolbar, I am unable to open. Even if I google them and click on them from there, I can't open. I normally use Firefox, and have tried to open pages through Safari, still can't open. I am able to get on webpages from my home pc, that is not an Apple. The websties I am unable to access are: www.pickerington.k12.oh.us, www.ebay.com, www.phaprowlers.com, and just this morning www.lifetimefitness.com. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you installed anything or changed anything before all of this started happening?
I had this same problem some months ago and it turned out to be that in System Preferences > Network > Advanced - a few tick boxes were selected for a HTTP and HTTPS Proxy - This probably won't be an issue for you as you wont be able to connect to the internet full stop but have a gander through the Network Preferences and see if there is anything unusual ticked.
Also are you browsers up to date? I think Firefox has just released yet another update and maybe try running Software Update and install any updates found.
One last thing - Check in your browser preferences to see if Cookies are enabled.

No. Adobe Reader Touch is a Windows Store app with "modern" UI. None of Windows Store apps with "modern" UI can open two windows side-by-side. That's the Windows 8/RT application design decision that Microsoft has made.
If you want multiple documents/windows for the same app, your only choice is to use a desktop app (e.g. Adobe Reader XI) in the Windows 8 desktop environment.

One of the pages of a local credit union loads incredibly large. I have tried reducing using view, but it still loads in an incredibly large font size, showing only a very small portion of the webpage, but incredibly large. It shows up when trying to access the online statements. I reported it to the credit union, but they had no problems. They are using IE, which I hate. However, when using IE, I have no problems. Some websites such as yahoo are loading as a list instead of normal view. Page style is set too basic. internet explorer works fine, and i have uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla, but still no difference. any ideas on how to fix this? thanks

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

SELECT statements, including those that are selecting views, aren't making any data changes, so there would be no reason to generate UNDO or REDO log entries. There would be nothing to undo or to redo.

there are three displays in photos page:
1) thumbnails grid - smallest
2) deatial view and detail view slideshow - large
3a) pop-up slideshow - vary - this is slideshow.html
3b) or iphone/ipad slideshow phoneshow.html - iphone/ipad can't do pop-up
it's difficult to know which you refer to.
if you refer to pop-up slideshow then you should not look into iwebmediagrid.js as wyodor suggested.
instead look in phoneshow.html and change width and heigth of element id slideshow:

Why are line graphics not showing up in Preview Mode when they show in Normal view mode?

I am using CS4, I've used InDesign for 4 years. I can not figure out why this is happening...
From the Tools panel, I am using the line and circle tools. Drawing lines (arrows) and circles on my document, with a stroke weight of 1. The lines are the top item on my page, the last thing I draw. I draw lines that would go over not only other graphics, but over text as well.
Problem is that they only show up in Normal view, not Preview view. Hence, I don't think they will show up on the final document.
I've used these tools often, and the lines not showing is a new problem. Can anyone shed some light on why this might be happening?

I looked and yes "nonprinting" was ticked in the Attributes panel. THANK YOU :-)

Yellow Boxes around type in normal view mode but not in preview?

There are these yellow boxes that appear around type when in normal view mode, but when in preview mode it disappears.....any idea of what I can do to alleviate this issue? Here is an image of the problem....

I cannot get back from full screen to normal view

On full screen, there is no back button or any button other than the browsing tabs. I have to close firefox using task manager
system is dell mini 10 using windows 7 starter.
latest firefox, 3.6.10 downloaded today

I got a way away from this problem. When in full screen, if you move you mouse to the top right corner of your screen, there would be the options "Close", "Restore" and "Minimize". You should click on restore and the screen would come back to the normal view. Thanks.

Acrobat X form editing view and normal view

This might seem like a silly question, but I went into form editing mode to create some form fields. I can toggle back and forth between form editing and form preview views, but can't figure out how to get back to normal view. In Acrobat 9, when in form editing view, there was a button in the upper right corner "Close Form Editing" -- where did that button go?

Agree. No button/option available to return to normal view. My version is 10.0.1
Workaround:
1. select View menu > Full screen mode or press Ctrl+L
2. press Esc* key
* when Edit > Preferences > Full Screen (category) > Full screen navigation > 'Escape key exits' is selected

It was usual for me, that in the transaction SE16 don't allow that.

Depends on the setting for "delivery and maintenance" in SE11, should be set to "allowed with restrictions" for the underlying tables of the view. Also check the very good F1 help for this field.
