Is there a list of warning names for @SuppressWarnings?

According to the API docs this is down to the implementation. But I can't find a list for Sun's javac, which is irritating. In particular I'd like to selectively suppress "unchecked conversion" but neither "unchecked" nor "unchecked conversion" seems to hit the spot.

This is the closest I could find for you:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/lang/Supp
ressWarnings.html
That's where I found there was such a thing as a SuppressWarnings annotation. Trouble is it doesn't define any actual string values. That's left to "the implementor" but Sun is "the implementor" I'm interested in and I can't find anywhere they've documented it.

  • Is there a list of table name and object name? (oCompany.GetBusinessObject)

    Hi,
    How do I find the objects regarding the tables in SBO?
    Example Item Master, I use following statement:
    SAPbobsCOM.Items oItem;
    oItem = ( SAPbobsCOM.Items ) oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oItems);
    I like to find the object for SPP1.

    Thank you,

    Thank you, Owen,
    Yes, I found the table name and method name in SDK Help Center:
    On your P/C, click START. Select All programs , SAP  Business One > SDK > SDK Help Center. Then select  DI API, then DI API Reference. If you scroll down this window you will find all existing classes. You will then find the SpecialPrices and the SpecialPricesDataAreas. All the information required to code is in there.

  • Local node not included in the list of host names for grid installation

    I'm attempting to install clusterware on Solaris 11 on 2 nodes. I've tried tweaking the /etc/hosts file in a few different ways by including the fully-qualified name and without it for the localhost, but it still gives me this error every time. The runcluvfy.sh script doesn't run on Solaris 11. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?
    I've tried this using the silent install and with OUI, but got the same error both ways. This is the format of the node names:
    oracle.install.crs.config.clusterNodes=myLocalNode:myLocalNode-vip1,myOtherNode:myOtherNode-vip2
    [FATAL] [INS-40907] Local node not included in the list of host names for grid installation.
    CAUSE: The local node (the node where you are running the installer) was missing from the list of host names you provided.
    ACTION: Include the local node in the list of host names for grid installation.

    Hi,
    what Oracle Version are you trying to install?
    Best to directly start with 11.2.0.3 and look in MOS for certification, hints requirements.

  • Is there a list of best practices for Azure Cloud Services?

    Hi all;
    I was talking with a Sql Server expert today and learned that Azure Sql Server can take up to a minute to respond to a query that normally takes a fraction of a second. This is one of those things where it's really valuable to learn it when architecting as
    opposed to when we go live.
    Cloud Services are not Sql Server (obviously) but that led to the question - Is there a list of best practices for Azure Cloud Services? If so, what are they?
    We will be placing the cloud services in multiple datacenters and using traffic manager to point people to the right one. The cloud service will set between an IMAP client & server, pretending to be the mail client to the server, and the server to the client.
    Mostly it will pass all requests & responses across from one to the other.
    thanks - dave

    For this issue, I have collected some blogs and document about best practices for azure cloud service, you can view them, but I am not sure they are your need.

    For your scenarioes, If you'd like to communicate with each instances, I recommend you refer to this document (
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/hh180158.aspx ). And generally, if we want connect the client to server on Azure, the service bus is a good choice (http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/cloud-services-dotnet-multi-tier-app-using-service-bus-queues/
    If I misunderstood, please let me know.

    We will be the website in multiple datacenters and using traffic manager to point people to the right one. The website will run as a REST server using Web API 2, mostly for license checks from our app running on corporate Exchange servers. And a small part
    will be for javascript based web pages used for account CRUD.

    sorry I was not sure if you were using a web server or what?
    One other idea out of the slow cooker is to use a dedicated web server with SQL server running beside IIS
    If you are using the standard web sites, then the SQL option is about as slow as FTP uploads, very slow

    We will be calling the database from multiple instances, both Azure websites and Azure cloud services. The calls will be about 90% selects, 9% updates, and 1% inserts.

    Nope, I doubt it.  As I said:
    I disabled Aero theme, checked font scaling was 100% and rebooted Windows in between all of the steps to no avail.
    I've been reading a lot around this and it seems the arrow key problem is a red herring; I think it's just some kind of terminal preferences corruption.

  • List of reference names for executeCommand();

    Hey!
    Does anyone know if it is possible to get a list of all the reference names for the executeCommand(); function?
    To be more specific; i'm talking about a list of all possible "number names", like the one highlighted in red
    app.executeCommand(2359);
    2359 = Preferences
    JesB

    There are more though  All the contextual ones (right-click a layer > Reveal Expression Errors.... that's the one i'm after for some time.. doesnt work)
    Apparently the ones with negative id's require some particular settings, which i can't figure out.
    Xavier.
    And this is where the community support comes into play. I would like to keep updating the document with missing/incorrect stuff. Not all menu commands will have an ID assigned (no ID means we can't use them in ExtendScript unfortunately), but the ones that do, we can add to the list. If you do find one(s) let me know. I will dabble on my own as well over time and see if I can find more. It simply boils down to adding the menu name into this code:
    alert(app.findMenuCommandId("insert menu command name"));
    The number that pops up is what it is, barring the duplicate name issue I mention repeatedly in the pdf though.
    Thank you David, and really great work with the list
    Thanks Jes, hopefully we can improve it over time.

  • A list of property names for PropertyChangeListener

    Hello all,
    Can anyone post a link to a list of property names? I want to use the addPropertyChangeListener(String, PropertyChangeListener) method, but I can't until I find the name for the property I desire! (The one I'm after is the background colour for a JPanel, on the offchance someone knows it.)
    Thanks,
    Muel.

    I don't know what you're after, maybe if this helps you.
    NOTE: This is not my source! Somebody posted it a while ago.import javax.swing.*;
    import java.util.*;
    public class ShowUIDefaults {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              javax.swing.UIDefaults defaults = UIManager.getDefaults();
              String[] colName = { "Key", "Value" };
              String[][] rowData = new String[defaults.size()][2];
              int i = 0;
              System.out.println("Count Item = " + defaults.size());
              // Constructing a TreeMap directly from defaults (which
              // does supposedly implement Map) was resulting in an empty map.
              java.util.TreeMap map = new TreeMap(defaults);
              for (Enumeration enum = defaults.keys(); enum.hasMoreElements();) {
                   String key = (String) enum.nextElement();
                   map.put(key, defaults.get(key));
              // I use a TreeMap so the keys in the table will be alphabetically sorted.
              for (java.util.Iterator iter = map.keySet().iterator(); iter.hasNext(); i++) {
                   String keyStr = (String) iter.next();
                   rowData[0] = keyStr;
                   rowData[i][1] = "" + map.get(keyStr);
              JFrame f = new JFrame("UIDefaults Key-Value sheet");
              JTable t = new JTable(rowData, colName);

  • [SOLVED] Is there an list-type app launcher for dwm/xmonad?

    What is a program that can act as a "launcher" for my most commonly used apps (without having to type out the app name?)
    I am currently using MODKEY+F[#] hotkeys, but i'd really like a display with all my common apps and a way to choose one of them.

    For xmonad, and a shorter list of 'often used' programs or some such, if you don't want to go the dmenu route (for your most used programs), there is GridSelect.
    import Xmonad.Actions.GridSelect
    and an example, in the keybindings section:
    , ((mod4Mask, xK_s), spawnSelected defaultGSConfig [myTerminal,"firefox&","skype&","twinkle&","psi&","sylpheed&","ossxmix&","xcompmgr&","trayer2&"])

  • Was there a change in method names for ABAP Proxies ???

    Hi all,
    i am wondering if there was a change in the method names when using ABAP proxies.
    In my projects there were always the methods execute_synchronous and execute_asynchronous when generating proxies.
    In a current project i created some ABAP proxies and the method names are not the same any longer. Now the method takes the name of the Message interface. I observed this in Backendsystems NW2004s (Basis 7.0) with SP14 and 15. It seems that it has changed since the sproxy was integrated in SE80.
    Can anybody tell me, how i can use the "old" method names again when generating proxies ?
    Best regards,
    martin

    Actually i guess they did in more SOA way. If u see it says connecting to ESR rather than integration repository.
    Yes. In order to allow several operations for a message interface, the methods of the ABAP proxies get the operation name as method instead of a constant (the Java proxies alwas had this behaviour).
    could u pl highlight what other operations are allowed on message interface rather than sending a message to the XI either in synchronous or asynchronous manner?
    Thanks and Regards

  • Is there a list of software updates for Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar available

    Now that Apple has discontinued support for my iMac G3, or rather, software update support for systems running OS 9 through OS X 10.3, is there a User-provided list in this forum that might assist me in downloading updates for Jaguar
    Here is the Apple article of declared discontinuation: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5405
    Furthermore, is there a location in the System that 1:) download packages are stored, and in theory could be restored from an old disc image of my system, and 2) is there a location in the System that stores a History of OS X installs one by one?
    I have a disc image of my system; I just am not sure it has every software update that might be needed.
    Thank you for any suggestions.
    This system is a iMac G3 128 mb ram, Blue case

    I hear crickets! Thanks anyway.

  • Is there a list of Keyboard Shortcuts for Safari 3.0.4?

    I found the article "Safari: Browser Window and Menu Shortcuts"
    Last Modified on: July 20, 2007 Article: 42951
    It says that Command-T is Show/Hide Address Toolbar. But in Safari 3.0.4 Command-T opens a new tab. So this list has not been updated for Safari 3.

    Hi Alan,
    I don't know of any official documentation for the Debug menu, I'm sorry. I get the impression that Apple meant for the menu items to be self-explanatory to would-be developers. Personally, I've only meddled with the User Agent, Show Caches Window and toggling of RSS Support and Back/Forward Cache. I doubt typical end-users like us would require much more than that. Sorry, I hope that helps.
