Is there a way to delete everything off the Ipod but not off itunes?
I have a 4g Ipod nano, and it is full so it wont let me add any new songs. I have gone into itunes and deleted songs from my playlist and tried to update my ipod but even when i delete playlists and songs it still says that i dont have enough room to add any more. Is there any way i can delete everything off my ipod and but still have all my music in itunes so i can basically start over?
Try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. it won't remove anything from your iTunes library. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

Is there a way to delete everything on the cloud all at once and start over?
We tried to store a lot of photos to the cloud in one copy. The files have been syncing for over 24 hours. We tried to stop the sync and just throw everything away, and they still show up in the archive. Is there a way to delete everything on the cloud all at once and start over?
Dulls for information on how to permanently delete your files please see Creative Cloud Help | Manage and Sync files.

I cant access any of the content that was in my music library that was set up on my old destroyed laptop. so Home Share cant be used. Is there a way to pull all of the music content, not just iTune purchased music, from my 4th Gen Nano back into my new iTunes set up on my new home compter?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one - way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. -
Deleting songs that show up on the ipod but not in itunes
Hi all, I've have a problem with a few songs that I loaded onto my ipod. For some reason 1 song was duplicated and another I'm pretty sure I deleted already. For some reason they are on my ipod but don't appear in itunes when connected so I can't delete them the normal way. I have tried deleting all the songs off the ipod and then loading them on again but they don't want to be deleted. Is there any other way of deleting the songs from the ipod or reformating the ipod.
Thanks
Windows XPI think manually. I add a playlist to the ipod, transfer the songs over and when I'm finished I press that triangle button next to the ipod name and then it loads the songs, I think thats what it does??

I am having a really hard time with music. I subscribed to itunes match and my iphone emptied out. then I started downloading music from the cloud, but the process went out of control and now the iphone is full. I need help here. Music management with apple more difficult than it should be.
with about 3000 songs kinda cumbersome. it does not seem to work with albums. I guess I just have to be patient?

Is there a way to delete songs from an ipod without having to connect to iTunes?
is there a way to delete songs from an ipod without having to connect to iTunes?
Does delete (from the iPhone) really delete the songs from the iPhone, or just hide the songs?
I normally list "By artist". I can delete an album (by swiping on the album sidways and then pressing delete), and the album (and all the songs) don't appear in the music player on the iPhone; But when I look at music in iTunes for the iPhone, the songs are still there.
I'm confused. -

My 4th Gen iPod Nano isn't displaying a "Use iTunes to restore" message, but iTunes is displaying a restore message when I connect it. I have original music that I can't back up on my iPod. Is there any way that I can fix the iPod without restoring it?
It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other. -

Is there a way to rate videos on the iPod like you can in iTunes?
Is there a way to rate videos on the iPod like you can in iTunes? In iTunes I can assign 0 to 5 stars to a video. Can this be done on the iPod?
Thanks. When I click the center button I only get the diamond that allows me to FF or RW with the track pad and if I click again I get the brightness adjustment but thats it. I have tried all the video types and it doesn't make a difference. If anyone has gotten this to work on their Classic please let me know. Thanks.

When i connect my iphone 5 to cpu, i cant figure out how to see the music held on phone. When I click the "iphone" icon, it pulls up the options (summary, info, music, apps, etc) but when i click music, it just gives sync options. When i plug in an older ipod, there's an option to see what's on the ipod but not with my iphone 5. how do i see the music stored on my iphone in itunes?
There is a OneClickdigital ereader available in the App Store. Download that to your iPod to read pdfs and books from the library. And you might need to download the OneClickdigital eaudio player to listen to audiobooks from the library. Once both are downloaded sync you iPod again to transfer them.

My daughter got an ipad so I took her ipod. The problem is both of them have the same user id and password so when I sinc the ipod to itunes, it downloads all of her apps/music that I don't want to the ipod. Is there a way to wipe out everything on the ipod and change the username/password (I guess) so that when I sinc it, it doesnt download her stuff? Also, there are a few songs that I have purchased through iTunes that I would like to keep, can I do this or will I have to re-purchase the music again?
(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

Hello all, I have found numerous entries about this topic, but no definitive answer to my question so I thought I would ask you all. I have an old x200t (purchased 2008-2009) and to make a long story short the Windows OS license doesn't work anymore.
