Is there any way to get photos off of my ipod back onto my computer?

I accidentally deleted all of my pictures from my computer. I have itunes set not to sync the photos from my computer to my ipod. So that means that the photos are still on my ipod.
Is there anyway I can get these back on to my computer.

I didn't delete them from my computer. I put them on a dvd and I had it sitting on my desk. I wrote "my pictures" on it and set it down on my desk. I had another dvd that had the same thing on thing written on it. I thought I picked up the one that i thought was the old one, but it wasn't. So i have the dvd that has all of my old pictures on it, but i lost all of my more recent ones. I didn't feel like putting that on the post so I just put that I deleted them from my computer.
Do you know of anyway of getting them off of my ipod back onto my computer. Maybe taking it to an apple store or something?

  • Is there any way to get photos off of my iPhone 4 that won't turn on?

A couple of weeks ago my iPhone 4, running on iOS 7, decided to stop working.  It just shut off all of a sudden, and wouldn't turn back even if it was plugged into a computer.  It would just say that it was an iPhone in recovery mode, and that it needed to be restored.  I would be okay with doing this, however I recently went on a big trip and took hundreds of photos on this trip with my phone, and I mistakenly did not back up my iPhone since this trip.  I was wondering if there was any way to get these pictures off of my phone myself, and if not if there is any way that the people at the apple store could help me?
    Thank you!

  • Is there any way to get photos off of my Apple TV?

The hard drive on my Macbook crashed earlier in the week and the only other place I had some of my photos is on my Apple TV. Is there anyway to retrieve these from the hardrive?

I'm sure there is - but it will almost certainly mean invalidating your warranty. Depending on how technical you are ... you could:
    1. Take it to an Apple Store and get one of the geniuses to help you out; or
    2. Take the Apple TV apart yourself, put the drive inside either a USB or Firewire enclosure, plug the drive into your Mac and get the files off that way ...
If you choose 2. you should probably take a look at the instructions on this page and that should help. You might also find some information on this page.
    Best of luck ...

  • Is there any way to get photos off of my phone?

i dont want them from my phone to my computer i want them off of my phone. i put them on my phone from my computer and now i cant delete them

You delete them the same way you put them there.  The sync process.
Deselect the folder in itunes under the apps tab and sync.
    or
Remove the photo from the selected folder on your computer and sync.
    or
Delete the photos from your computer and sync.
    and so on.
The iphone is not a storage device.  It simply mirrors the selected content of your computer.  If you do not want it on the iphone, do not select it.

  • Update interupted... Any way to get photos off?

    Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting here so if it's the wrong area, I appologize. I did the latest update this morning for my IPhone (I have an IPhone 3G) from the ITunes store.. I'm not sure of the exact number of the update.
I was doing the update before work and I ran out of time, so I brought my laptop with me while it was finishing the update.
As it was toward the end of the update (It had already backed up everything and I guess was putting the new software on), the IPhone came loose from the cord and now all it shows is the ITunes logo and to plug it in. When I do that, it says I have to do a restore to get into ITunes.
Is there ANY way to get the photos off before I restore to factory settings? I don't care about the contacts or anything but my photos. All my photos of my 1 year old are on there and the last time I backed it up was in September. I know I should have more often and I will do it every month from now on... But any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't care if I even have to go somewhere and pay someone to do it..

Hi Thank you for getting back to me. This will be a bit lengthy so I appologize to begin with.
I did not restore the phone before I got back home because I didn't want to take any chances of anything happening with it.
So I got home and I did the restore and back up at home last night (Clicking on Restore since the IPhone in the device menu didn't have the option to restore from back up).
After I restored it, it gave me the option to choose a back up to restore to, which I chose the one from yesterday morning.
It loaded and said on ITunes that the sync or back up was complete and it was safe to remove the IPhone. There was still a bar filling on the Iphone, supposedly loading, still going on the IPhone so I left it connected.
The bar finally filled, but stayed that way for around 15-20 min without going to the main screen, so I disconnected it. Then it wasn't going away so I shut it off.
I turned it back on and it started that load bar again with the apple logo above it. It took a long time and I had to go to bed so I let it go. I woke up this morning and it had gone dark so it seemed like it loaded fine. I clicked the circle button and my wall paper came up and everything, I was very happy! I even went to photos and it showed all of them there, very happy!
The only downfall I saw was all my apps were gone.. Not to worried about that, although if there is a way to get them back, I'd appreciate knowing that also..
But then I went to the camera and then it said rebuilding library (just so you know I have ALOT of photos on here, over 4500.. No music, just a ton of photos, which I am going to take off tonight hopefully.) So it took forever.. Then it turned off before it finished. I turned it back on and I went to photo's (instead of camera) and it said updating library and the load line is crawling.
So ever since I first looked at the pictures this morning, I haven't been able to view them again. I tried hooking it up to my laptop during break this morning to start transfering the photos, but it doesn't give me the option to import pictures like it used to (outside of ITunes, as if it were an external hard drive.).
So that's where I am at... Sorry for the lengthy response, but I figured it would help if you knew everything. At this point I just want to get the pictures off safely and then I don't care if I wipe them off after that.

  • I have a 4s and i am trying to get my photos off my phone and back onto my computer. any advice?

I have a 4s and i am trying to get the photos off of my phone and back onto my computer.... i am not able to delete these photos (only the ones in the camera roll can i delete )   if anyone has any helpful tips they would be appreciated. thank you

Photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process cannot be deleted direct on the iPhone.
Photos transferred from the computer are optimized for viewing on the iPhone – the original resolution of these photos is reduced, and the reason transferring these photos in the opposite direction is not supported. Photos transferred from your computer should be included with your computer's backup along with all other important data
Photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process are removed from your iPhone in the same way. To remove all photos that were transferred from your computer, deselect sync photos under the photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by sink.

  • Is there any way to get rid off the network lost notifications - really ruins the iPad experience :(

Hey all, I'm getting really frustrated with constantly being notified that the network has dropped, especially when travelling through areas with patchy signal. I know I can turn off 3g but that would mean not using 3G when I need it the most. I think this notification is poorly thought out by apple - why would a user want to be notified every 30 seconds their signal is coming and going? Or indeed ever be notified? Surely that's what the signal bar is for. is there a way to disable this noification? Thanks for the help.

Assuming you're talking about the icons, only the developer can change those... Apple in this case.

I swear the plastic covering the LCD screen is as soft as butter. It gets scratched as easily as the underside of a cd. In hindsight I know i should have always kept it in a protective case, but now that what's done is done is there a way to buff out the scratches?

  • Is there a way to get photos off my hard drive without losing integrity of various albums and folders

I have a large number of photos on my mac, and wish to move them, but don't want to lose all the sorting and organizing i've done into various folders and albums.  Is there a way to move a series of events and not lose the tie to an album or folder?

Here's one way to do what you want:
    1. Quit iPhoto.
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the external drive.  (Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled) )
Now you have two full copies of the Library. To choose between them:  Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
    3. On the Internal Library, remove the pics you don't want with you all the time.
Now you have one full library on the external and another smaller sub-set on the Internal.
    A couple of comments:
    a. The external disk needs to be formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
b: When you're removing the unwanted pics from the Internal Library you need to delete them in batches of about 100 or so. Trashing more at one time can cause problems with the database.
c: Managing Multiple Libraries - including moving pics/albums/rolls and metadata between them - is greatly facilitated by using iPhoto Library Manager

  • Is there any way to recover photos if you didn't back up using iTunes or Photostream?

I'm really really hoping there is a way around this...
I tried to update my iPhone 4S to the iOS6 operating system and when it restarted it went into recovery mode. I've only had this phone for a few months but never turned on Photostream (never knew you had to manually go in and turn it on for it to update to the icloud) or synced it with iTunes since I use my phone mostly for work. I just had a baby 2 weeks ago and while I was in the hospital I took photos with my iPhone. Now Apple is telling me the only way to get my phone on again and working properly is to restore it in iTunes on my PC, but I'll have lost all the photos I took. I've contacted their support twice about it and keep getting the, sorry you're SOL. I'm pretty devastated and even though I emailed some of the photos to family, I won't have all of them and I'm very very upset that Apple wouldn't have some sort of prompt to back it up BEFORE this happens. It seems I'm not the only one who has had this unfortunate situation happen to them based on what I've read. The most irritating part is I've done two other software updates with this phone in the past and had no issues until this half-baked system update. Is there anything else you can do to either recover the photos or get the phone out of the recovery mode without restoring? It's still under the 1 year warranty, but Apple says there is nothing that can be done to recover the photos.

WIll the window software Wondershare Dr.Fone not recover the photos from the phone if you download or upload it to iTunes? It states it does?

  • Is there any way to get "voice memo" (the iPhone/ipod touch app) onto our new iPad 3?

I know there are apps in the app store that will have similar functionality, but I want Apple's original "Voice Memo" app for it's reliability, automatic syncing with iTunes on our other devices, ability to trim easily, and the overall interface.  I'd be willing to pay a purchase price, but I don't see any way of obtaining it... I'm a bit irritated as I thought this would have come standard as it did on my old iPod Touch. (I see it's still standard on iPhone and iPod Touch, too!)

No Voice Memos app by Apple on the iPad. I downloaded one from the App Store from another developer that is nearly identical.
