Is there anyway of overriding the d700 white balance fine tuning when importing to lightroom?

I have imported a large number of my raw photos from my d700 into lightroom. The white balance fine tuning setting was b4 creating a blue bias which I would like to remove. When I copy directly from the camera to my iPad there is no bias and the photos look good however once I import into either lightroom or photoshop I must adjust each photo to remove the bias. There must be a better way.

My suggestion would be for you to adjust the white balance to your satisfaction along with any other adjustments that you think are consistently out of line with what you want. Then, create new defaults for that camera.

You can't override the 90 days, you will need to wait until it's completed. I think that you can still sync content to the iPad from other accounts via your computer's iTunes (though iTunes match, automatic downloads and re-downloading can also tie a computer to an account)

Nikon D700 White balance importing issues

Hi Guys,
I am using a nikon d700 with Lightroom 3.2 If I shoot tethered, the correct white balance appears and gets loaded in Lightroom, but if I import them after the shoot, from the card, it loads a completely different white balance value and I have to go back and correct them one by one. I am not using any profile, just leave it on the standard Adobe version because the Nikon profiles are significantly reducing the quality on raw file. Does someone have an idea what I am doing wrong to be able to load the correct white balance during importing?

Are you shooting RAW? If so there is no WB embedded in a RAW file, you set the WB in LR. Setting "As Shot" and a calibration profile that matches the camera setting (if one exists) will usually closest to the wb embedded in a jpg produced by the camera processing.

ok that is understandable and fully reasonable. but tech is tech. when one is made to do everything it can also be limited through the code.
Would anyone be able to make or program something to override the code and just use it to send/receive through the hardware. like said the bluetooth tether feature was not doable but mywi was able to through jailbreaking.

Currently the FAGLB03 does not display the vendor related information for transactions coming through as a goods receipts (transactions processed by receiving dept) and/or related to purchase orders. Is there anyway to view the purchase order information for each transaction? For example, we cannot see vendor code/name, po #, etc.

HEllo,
FAGLL03 displays information from the line items of the accounting documents. If the information you want to display exists in tables you can display. But if the information you want comes from other tables you cannot display.
As a workaround you can check the SAP note 1034354 which tells you how to add the offsetting accounting information and then you cna display some of the information you want. To do so you can create your own coding into a BADI implementation.

The music does not belong to you. You have no legal right to it and there is no way to keep it.

I had to buy a new computer and had to open a new ITunes account is there anyway of merging the 2 accounts?

There was no reason to start a new account.
You can certainly use your old account on any computer/device.
You cannot merge accounts.

First, you would need to make a backup of the entire iTunes folder on the PC. You could get music to the iPad if the PC was still functioning, or you would have to move the music to another computer. An iPad is not a laptop, and does not have a port to plug an external drive into. You can sync music to the iPad from the computer, but you are correct, unless you get iTunes Match, you would need a computer to copy the music to and then sync to an iPad.

I have a similar issue. My hard drive crashed, so I had a new one installed and I'm basically starting from scratch on my computer. My iPhone has a lot of my stuff on it (photos and music in particular). When I plugged into iTunes I did a "back up" of my phone to the computer....this transferred the photos in my camera roll, and music purchased through iTunes.
So....I still have a ton of photos (saved in folders, not my camera roll), and music (older stuff not purchased through iTunes) that I want to get to my computer. I am scared to "sync" my phone in iTunes for the first time.....if I do this, will it make my phone match my computer (effectively erasing the stuff on the phone?). What I want is for my computer to match my phone (thus transferring the additional photos and music). Is the third party software the only way?? Does it really work well/is it worth the money? Yes, this is quite possible using the text-tagging feature in Echosign. A sample of this text-tagging code would be the following for a signature block along with the date and the time:
{{Sig1_es_:signer1:signature}}
{{Date_es_:signer1:date}}
{{Time_es_:signer1:calc(now()):format(Date,”hh:nn:ss tt”)}}
So, in the instance where it shows the {{Time}} block, the calculation would be broken down as follows:
{{Time_es_:signer1:calc(now()):format(Date,"hh:nn:ss tt")}}
"calc" tells the app to calculate, "now" returns the date and time when the signature is signed. Along with the Date, you also get the hours(hh), minutes (nn), and seconds (ss). The "tt" at the end designates the AM or PM status whereas if you wanted to use Military or 24-hour time, you'd drop the "tt" and simply use "HH" in place of the "hh".

There are, however, lots of calendar apps in the App Store. They will used th same data as th built in app and sync just the same way. Many of them are quite customizable or, at least have different backgrounds. Some that I like are Week Cal, Fantastical, Cal, Tempo.
