Is there functionnality like the caret listener in Swing?
In Swing, there is textPane.addCaretListener(caretListenerLabel);
In JavaFX is there something similar?
For TextFields or TextAreas you can do:
textField.caratPositionProperty().addListener(...);

Is there something like the fluxbox menu without fluxbox?
I'm running Evilwm as my wm and very much like the minimalism, but lately I've been kind of missing the menu from Fluxbox.
So I got to wondering if there was something similar out there; i.e. a program that opens a menu on some keycombo (say, control + right mouse. xbindkeys can sort out the details), displays a list of programs that can be launched, and upon either a selection by the user or some escape sequence removes the menu again. Any ideas?I dunno about a drop-down style menu like the one found in fluxbox, but I guess you could try out using dmenu after binding it to the key of your choice. It's probably not the best option, but it works nonetheless.

Delete the Find My Friends app. Don't give anyone your Apple ID password as if they had that, they could use Find My iPhone to track your phone. Don't let social media services (twitter, Facebook, Instagram) have access to your location services.
If you are on an cell phone account that is controlled by someone else (e.g. parents) note that they may be able to avail themselves of carrier services to track your phone. In order to avoid being tracked that way, you would, as Bonanaza888 noted, you'ld need to put your phone in Airplane mode or turn it off. -
How to make the fonts in Firefox sharper so there more like the fonts in Google Chrome?
I'm currently in the process of moving from Google Chrome to Firefox, and I noticed that the fonts in Firefox are allot more smoother then what they are in Google Chrome, is there anyway to make the Firefox fonts look as sharp as what the fonts are in Google Chrome?

Is there something like the questions widget in ibooks author in keynote?
Does anyone know how if there is a review widget within Keynote as there is in iBooks Author that can show more than 6 questions and can I edit this so that multiple ticks can be shown and show more than 6 questions?
I also want to know if I can alter the "Check Answer" button.The interactive system in Keynote uses hyperlinks, click a button and it will jump to another slide, that's the sum of the amount of interactivity available.
An every day scenario; I want to review the scores to 5 questions with a multiple choice of 3 answers.
This requires 5 slides one question per slide.
I cannot click a button on slide 6, requesting to show the number of correct and wrong answers to all 5 questions. There is no database or dynamic library available to Keynote to allow a presentation of the data. -
Does anybody like the new iTunes
Is there anybody out there who likes the new iTunes? So far, I've heard nothing but haters. Considering upgrading, but had a not so great experience with the 3G fiasco and had to replace the entire phone. If you LIKE the new 10.0 software, please tell me what your're running and state the best new feature. Mucho gracias!
It's alright so far. People have a hard time coping with change unless it's change in the exact way they want it.
I have noticed it's way faster opening and closing iTunes 10 on my iMac from '06. That's definitely a great thing. The new icon will take some getting used to, but it makes sense to ditch the CD icon, though I do wonder why they still call it iTunes when it handles so many other things besides music.
The loss of color in the sidebar is an interesting decision, but nothing to lose sleep over. It's still easy to find what you're looking for.
I say upgrade. Nobody should spend their time living in the past. -
Is there a "hold" switch on the 6th gen nano like the 5th gen nano?
I like the "hold" switch on my old Nano. This comes in handy while working out with the Nano in the pocket. I just rec'd a new nano and you can't keep it in a pocket while listening. Any rub on the screen will cause the Nano to change what you are listening to. Is there anyway to lock the screen so that this does not happen?
Read the user manual that came w/the iPod.

In previous versions of i Tunes I could highlight a song in my library and a genious list would show on the right side of the screen listing songs that were like the one highlighted. Now I do not get that list. Is there a way to get that back?

I'm trying to create a new movie. It tells me to name my movie, and the only event choice in the drop down menu is the last movie I made. IMovie Library is greyed out. I'm lost and I'm just starting. Not sure I like the new version. Any help out there?

i updated my 4s yesterday, but my phone will not work at all now, and will not turn off. It has a itunes image on the screen with an arrow underneath and what looks like the charger lead. i've had it on charge! is there anything else i can do?
Cconnect it to your computer with the latest version of iTunes installed.

hi the older button could be set to either "force portrait mode" or "silent mode". now you can do both in the iOS control center (swipe from the bottom of the screen), so the need for a button isn't needed anymore.

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

We setup iPads for a mobile lab and students change the settings or set up a pass code on the iPad. Is there a way to lock the settings folder or an app to revert any changes back to the original set up like the program cornerstone (for a pc)?

Itunes 10 will not load on windows 7 64 bit. Error code 2324. Old Itunes is gone or not working. Cannot play anything although files are still there. What the ??? is error 2324. Seems like alot of people ar ehaving the same problem
I have had this problem with Windows 7 and iTunes updates for some time. Each time it takes hours to solve but with the over the air upgrade to IOS6 on my iPhone and iPad, I was determined to solve and remember what I did, So here it is:
