Is there in fact a real, live MOZILLA TECH SUPPORT PERSON who can respond??
Is there ANYONE out there who can identify and correct the problem causing intermittent non-functionality of my ATT/Yahoo email on FF? Evidently this is indeed a FF issue, as my email works fine with another browser on my Ipad. Does Mozilla in fact have in-house tech support people??
To re-iterate the problem as I described it in this forum a week ago--but to which I had no response--I can open the email page, but it does not refresh to load new emails; I cannot compose and send, cannot delete, and cannot open any folders.
I re-set FF, re-loaded an earlier version (that subsequently up-dated to v.22 on its own), tried System Restore. I spoke with ATT tech support then as well--at least they have live support, for free--and at the conclusion of nearly an hour the problem went away--until today, again--despite the tech's assertion that she did nothing, that perhaps an up-date had not completed loading?
Today I downloaded the FF "Troubleshooter" software--that didn't help, either.
I REALLY would appreciate an upper-level technician from Firefox/Mozilla responding to this--with a solution!

This is Mozilla's tech support. Like most providers of free software, mozilla doesn't have a dedicated phone support system, but this site is manned by both staff (like me) and community members. You get support for ATT because you pay monthly to use their services.
You should make sure you update to Firefox 23 (22 is out of date and no longer supported), and try all the steps at your previous post ([https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/966272]). Specifically, try a new profile or Reset Firefox [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]].

Please restore e-mail or at least give us some real information. Tech support is almost smug in their response for additional information. The iCloud status page has said the same thing since yesterday. A real dis-service. My business depends on this! Any one have any suggestions not being offerd by tech support or Apple? I downloaded an app off the store which said it was free and part of the 5 year promotion.

You delete the app as you do any other app. Hold an icon until they wiggle. Tap the "x". This is covered in the manual. -
There is no "deactivate" function and the technical support person I chatted with recommended I come here. Can I just use the serial number again? How can I deactive? Has anyone else run into this? How can I get Dreamweaver 8, which is no longer being activated by Adobe, on a new computer? Is it even worth doing or do I need to get a new version. What are the killer features I'm missing?

Is there really not an email address for tech support? ( I really do not want to waste time being put on hold on the phone.)
However, I have 3 Issues Regarding iPad 2 with IOS 7:
1.) I can no longer open up the apps from the update page. (I used to be
able to & it was a quick way of making certain that I wanted to keep an app
before I updated it.
2.) I have many apps that I have updated since installing the new
operating system & they now have "open" symbols next to them, but I don't
know how to get them off of my update list (since that has already been
done to them).
3.) My iPad has gotten stuck or frozen more in this last week since the
new update then has in the last 2 years put together. (It seems to be stemming from the "Updates" page as sometimes that page is just white & will not open, even though everything else opens & I have an internet connection.)Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Apple's tech support number is 800-800-2775. Calls to them will not be free unless you purchased an iPod and are within the 90-day free support period or have AppleCare on the iPod.
If the question involved the Apple Store, there is no phone support. Support for the Store is only via web form or, for some issues, live chat.
Perhaps if you'd start a new topic and give full details about your setup and problem, including error messages if any (rather than just posting a "me too" to someone else's thread), someone here can help you sort things out.

Not a question; merely a thanks. Yesterday two women from Tech support (Deb and Rachael) spent a good amount of time on the phone with my 86-yr-old mom as they helped her set up a new phone. They were patient and helpful. thanks for that good service.
The live chat people are the best. They've always helped me more than actually going to a store and dealing with the customer service there.

Hello, Apple?Ok, previously downloaded hd movies play just fine, but, when you view them in the directory window, their image is white/blank, when it used to show the greeen / or black starting screen.
but the other movie files that i transfer from disk weren't playing. just tried another one. just white screen.
i can bring it into Final Cut Pro, and i can view and use it in there. but it should work in QT pro as well.

It makes perfect sense to have a question like "What color was your first car?" or "What was your maternal grandmother's first name?" My Mac sometimes just goes out to lunch for short or medium periods of tiem and sometims fails to display my typed characters for a while dumping them on the screen a few second later - often missing some key strokes

Is there a non-800 number for US tech support?
I need to call US tech support from France. I can't dial the 800-642-3623 for tech support in the US from France. Does anyone know a non-800 number to reach tech support for Acrobat Pro?

I can't be the only person who has this problem with iCal- when a month ends on a Saturday I can't drag events into the next month and instead have to cut and paste - a real pain in the butt. I thought there was something called "scroll" but I can't find that.
Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.

Is there a script available for 'live' endnotes in Indesign 5.5?
I want to export books to epub with live endnotes (1,2,3,4,) displayed chapter by chapter at the end of the ebook. There are usually around 10 chapters and 700 notes. How can this be done? I have ongoing books to do like this, so I need an automated solution, is there a script available to do this?. Until now (for non epub books) I have been importing text from word, stripping the notes, and organising ‘dead’ notes, at the end of the book. What is the best way to import word files and keep dynamic links alive in the epub? Thanks a lot for your help.
InDesign doesn't support any endnote scheme at all, so all you could do is create hyperlinks to and from the note.
The same answer for your index query, actually, although there you are going to run into another problem: there is no way the page numbers in the index are going to "update" live as the user resizes his screen, toggles the font, changes the font size etc.
