jesus what are they doing, a design based community (mainly) and they bring a mouse out that is about as responsive as a shopping trolley!! after effects / cinema 4d (GOD)even photoshop is suffering!

another issue is the double click problem! i have a busy life as it is and im not too keen in doing the same thing 3-4 times but thanks to this problem i am, the only settings to change the speed of double is in settings (SOMEONE GUIDE ME IF HTIS IS WRONG) but its a problem that will not go away
even clicking once on a layer to click and drag in after effects for example is openign precomps and really getting on my tits (can i say tits, well i have: i mean the blue tit of the bird family ha ha ha)
but not laughing really apple what have you done to this mouse and my freedom to work.

There's nobody here but we users.
If you have a double click issue than slow the time down in System Preferences > mouse. The slow side gives you more time between clicks, faster is less time.
If you have tracking issues the preference slide bar range doesn't solve you can experiment with the settings as explained here:

Did you reinstall CS3 after CC?
For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC. -
I had itunes years ago but the email address associated with this is not longer in use. Is there anyway to updating and transferring all music and data to a new email address?

When trying to open iPhoto the computer says:
‘The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto.’
So I click ‘upgrade’
Then it says: ‘You can’t open your current photo library using this version of iPhoto.’

TheoIs your Apple Intel-based, poppelmacbook? If not, you should consider treating yourself to a new Mac. Last December I gave up my old because it just could not update...anything because it was not Intel-based. Updating everything on this OS to 10.9 has been confusing for me, but I just could not work with that old Mac because the updates were too smart? for my 10.6. It is upstairs now...for visiting family: games, garage band, etc.--things I never did use. Apple refurbished and purchase the extended warranty. Apple loyalist since late 1980's.

Scroll down with the mouse while the crop tool window is open
I would like to know if there is a way to scroll down with the mouse while the crop tool window is open, like in Acrobat 5.0. If not with the mouse, is there another shortcut to go through the pages and adjust the size of the crop and see it on different pages? Thanks!

Hundreds of my iPhoto pictures will not be copied and will not show when I double-click on them. When I do in iPhoto an exclamation surrounded by a triangle appears. Though I can see the picture in the small tiles below it will not expand. I also cannot attach any of these pics into an e-mail or into any other file. I have already went through all 3 Repair options and when that did not solve it went through a complete Rebuild. Any Help?! Any Suggestions on how to fix this?! I have spent almost 2 days now going through all of the published help.
I have backups going back 6 months - I have not had the real need to check every album before - but - all of my backups also have this same problem.The triangle with the ! indicates that the connection between the thumbnail and the orginal is missing - this can be caused by many things including database corruption and user action emoving the originals photos on urpose or by accident
If the database is corrupted then rebuilding is the solution - backup and depress the option and command keys, launch iPhoto and rebuild your database -- if the iPhoto rebuild does not cure the problem then download iPhoto Library manager and use its rebuild command which creates a totally new library leaving the existing one untouched
If you have deleted the photos then you need to start over with a new library and import the photos you have not deleted into it
You can select one of the problem photos and use the reveal original in finder commander (file menu) to see if the original is there - if it is a finder window will open showing it

My Type Tool does not select type by double clicking or click and drag. (Windows CS 5 V15.1). This is what I have tried so far and the problem still exists.
Check preferences for "Text": "Select text-object by path only" should be off. Checked. It was off. Didn't fix it.
Check the toggle for Show/Hide Edges in the View menu. Cmd(Ctrl)-H. Checked. Edges Showing. Didn't fix it.
Trashed my Prefeerences. Didn't fix it.
Any other suggestions out there?

It was the leading! The space between the two lines of text was less than half of the point size of the actual text. So it looked like two lines but there was actually 3.
Geeze, I'm embarrassed! Thank you for suggesting that I may not need to recreate the entire document, but start with the text, input manually again (even on a new layer, to match the original), which lead to a fix!

Once software is installed on your computer, you can usually launch by clicking the icon on your computer's desktop. Or by looking inside Start > Programs (Win) or Applications Folder (Mac).

right clicking on photos, websites etc... with my mouse which is not wireless... It reopens the previous attempts rather then the current one I am trying to see
I found this solution on another newsgroup, so I thought that I'd share it here.

"I was also experiencing these annoying sync-problems. The cause for
this lies in nvcpl.dll - a nvidia dll, which scans for connected TVs.
The first time the dll is loaded, is at windows-bootup
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion->Run).
This causes the first flicker and unfortunately the auto-startup-entry
can't be deleted.
The flicker when right-clicking on video-files is caused by a shell-
extension, which the nvidia-driver installs for all types of video-
files. This shell-extension calls nvcpl.dll everytime you right click a
video file to scan for connected TVs. If a TV is present, the shell
extension shows up in the context-menu as "Play on My TV". I never
tested this, but I suppose when you click it, the video is directly
shown on your connected TV.
This could have been implemented a lot better, this f...ing sync-flicker
is driving you crazy when browsing a video archive.
After scanning the registry, I found the key responsible for the shell
extension. Just search for "PlayOnMyTV" in the registry and you will
find some entries under "shellex" (shell extension). These entries
contain an identifier, {FFB699E0-306A-11d3-8BD1-00104B6F7516} in my
case, I'm not sure if this identifier is static or created dynamically,
so in your registry, it might be another number. Now copy the identifier
and search for it in the registry; delete every occurence when it's
connected to video-file formats (.avi, .mpg, .mpeg and so on) and
afterwards the "PlayOnMyTV"-shellextensions."

RS480M2-IL - problems with "PS2 Mouse not found"

I bought RS480M2-IL motherboard. The first strange thing was the post about "not know processor", but i have fixed by upgrading it to the 1.4 version. You should to know also that I have USB mouse. When I am starting my computer I can see the post which says: "PS2 Mouse not found". It is a very big problem for me, because I wanted to run a Jabber server on it. After restart it won't get up. Is there any clue or something which will fix it? Don't tell me, that I must wait for new BIOS version.

I assume you have the s754 version because s939 bioses start with 3.x.
I have the same problem using bios 1.4.
This is a bios issue that hopefully will be fixed in the next bios version.
I found a temporary workaround though. Go into the bios --> Standard CMOS Features --> Halt On --> [No Errors]. -

I know that this isn't hard, but I just can't figure it out.
I am trying to create artificial cellular life, but the cells will be able to go through sexual reproduction.
The DNA for the cells is a 500 index boolean array. One array for Dominant genes, and another one for Rececive genes.
The DNA is generated randomly.
The division (to make a sperm cell) works like this -
1. I get a random number with the Math.random() function, and I use the Math.round() function to round it to either a 1, or a 0.
2. The boolean arrays are converted to integer arrays (true = 1, false = 0).
3. If the random number is a 1, then (in a for loop) the current index value of the dominant array is changed to a 3. If the random numnber is equal to a 0, then the current index value of the rececive array is changed to a 3.
I started working on a new class, to combine the sperm cell with another sperm cell (call it an egg cell, whatever, doesn't matter) in order to create a new complete cell.
I realized that I have no idea how I can reuse my classes, and make NEW cells, without overwriting my old cells.
All of the final information that the classes produce is passed through TestMain.class (which puts it into other variables, and sends it to the appropriate class).
So, I need to be able to run the process for creating a cell, then creating a sperm cell out of it, twice.
I can, of course, just copy and paste this action, but seeing as how I want to have unlimited amounts of cells in action, this would not be practical.
Here are my classes, sorry that they are not commented, but I explained what they do above, and I will write what they do overall.

When you write
DivideGenes cell2 = new DivideGenes(theDominantGenes, theRececiveGenes);it means than from 2 Genes, you are creating a new object which is DivideGenes. I assume that what you want is to create a cell from an other cell and its mate.
So it should be:

Wireless mouse only open files on double click but will not move curser
My wireless mouse is pairing properly with my computer. It willl open files when I use the touch pad to move the curser onto the files and then click on them with the mouse.
But the wireless mouse will not move the curser on its own. So essentially, it half works. Have gone through this with help desk. We re-paired mouse with computer, checking that Bluetooth is functioning, etc; turning off and restarting. Evew blew on back of mouse to remove any dust. All appears to be in order, not mouse unfortunately. Normal wired mouse works fine. I have only today had a new HD installed. Everything else is working fine. Any ideas to get mouse moving again.

I think I might have been having trouble because I had the mouse mated with a G4 laptop I replaced with a MacBook Pro, and both were on the desk together for a while. Now that the G4 is gone, I haven't been experiencing the problem. If you use multiple Bluetooth (Blueteeth?) devices you might want to make sure the mouse is only trusted on one.

Wireless Mouse does not Open Folder when double clicking
Hi. I just upgraded my operating system on my iMac from OS 10.5.8 to Maverick Version 10.9.5. Prior to this, I used to be able to double click on the left key of the mouse to open a folder. The only option is to right click on the folder and select the open in new tab option from the drop down menu. I checked system preferences, mouse, and slowed down the speed to half. Unfortunately, I no longer have a double click to open or view option. Please help. Thank you.
Have you checked to see if your settings are still set correctly. Go to Systems Prefs > Keyboard and Mouse > trackpad and see if the double click setting is (ideally) set midway along the slide. If it isn't, move it there.
