Issue in Creation of shipment with events  using BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE

Hello experts,
I am trying to create shipments using BAPI_SHIPMENT_CRETAE for which data is provided in an excel.
The issue here is I have to create the events in shipment i.e., I need to fill the Further dates tab. But in this BAPI there is no such structure or field which can take the input and create an entry in this tab. Please let me know if we can do this using this BAPI .
Also let me know if there are any other bapi's for shipment creation or the only way is to go for BDC.
Thanks.

Hi,
The BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE can't upload further dates, partners etc.
You can try below options.
1. Use BAPI to create basic shipment and update further dates data through BDC(VT02)
2. Create shipment using BDC(VT01)

  • Issues during creation and maintenance of BOM using FM's

    I am facing problems while using FM's BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE , CSAP_MAT_BOM_CREATE .
       Previously i was using CSAP_MAT_BOM_CREATE but it did not support creation of another alternative bom if there already exists one for the same material,plant,usage.
       So i started using BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE. This bapi supports creation of alternative BOM's but i have a requirement that i need to create items with a specific item id.
       The Bapi's interface has a item table which has a field item_id which i am filling up but internally this bapi converts it into a structure using FM 'MAP2I_BAPI1080_ITM_C_TO_ITM_CL.'
       But this FM does not transfer the item_id from the bapi's structure into the internal structure field ident. The FM being called from this bapi for creating items - CS_CL_S_ITM_CREATE uses this ident field for updating item id in an item but this field is empty.Do you have any idea how this issue can be resolved ?
       Also similar to BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE i was not able to find a BAPI for changing an existing BOM.Currently i am using  CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN.
       Can anyone please help me out with these issues .

    To enable and protect the variant maintenance of a report, it needs an S_PROGRAM group on it (see report RSCSAUTH).
    Via S_PROGRAM p_action = 'VARIANT' those users can then maintain the variants AND also submit the reports via report trees or transactions (including SA38 for example).
    To make the variant user specific for maintaining it but not restricting the ability to use it, take a look in transaction VARCH at the "Protection" flag (this is user specific then, for the current user who sets the flag first).
    Also see the SAP notes and discussions here about report RSVARENT - for globally unlocking the protection (to be used and protected itself with caution).
    To lock them down beyond the reach of the user's normal authority, you can also create custom system variants in client 000.
    Cheers,

    CREATE CONTROLFILE SET DATABASE "NEWDB" NORESETLOGS ARCHIVELOGAlso when you are setting a new database, the option should be RESETLOGS and not NORESETLOGS.
    'D:\APP\ADMINISTRATOR\ORADATA\NEWDB\ONLINELOG\O1_MF_2_7FK0XKB8_.LOG
    D:\APP\ADMINISTRATOR\ORADATA\NEWDB\DATAFILE\O1_MF_SYSTEM_7FK0SKN0_.DBFWhy underscore(_) at the end of the datafile name. Any specific reason ?

  • Creation of Multiple Shipments with respect to Single inbound.

    Hi,
    This is regarding creation of Multiple Shipments with respect to Single inbound.
    In standard SAP, you can create Shipment cost based on Inbound number.Requirement is here for single inbound can we create multiple Shipment document.
    Can we do shipment costing for Multiple shipment in single document through VI01.
    Yours Help in this will be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Sunami.

    dear friend,
    to process shipment cost documents you can either call up a shipment cost document in change mode or you can create lists of the shipment cost documents
    you can create the following lists:
    -Shipment cost documents for calculation
    -Shipment cost documents for settlement
    to process a single document use t-code VI01
    to create lists of shipment cost documents to be changed use t-code  VI11
    so, if you need something very special you would think about the new enhancement...
    good luck!

    This is a typical response from the manufacturer. Did you try the fix that Lawrence mentioned. When Apple or any other phone manufacturer update phone software, they have the latest Bluetooth installed. It is usually the problem with the radio manufacturer that they devices are using the older Bluetooth protocols. You can try this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581 and see if anything there helps, but generally it requires the radio manufacturer to update their firmware.

  • Issue While executing the Query for Pagination using ROWNUM with like

    Issue While executing the Query for Pagination using ROWNUM with like.
    Database is Oracle11G.
    Oracle Database Table contains 8-9 lakh records
    1) SQL equal (=)
    SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS(n) */ ROWNUM RNUM, A.* FROM LINE A
    WHERE A.REFERENCE = 'KMF22600920'
    Execution Time:- 0.00869245 seconds
    Returns 2 resultsets
    2) SQL like (one %)
    SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS(n) */ ROWNUM RNUM, A.* FROM LINE A
    WHERE A.REFERENCE = 'KMF22600920%'
    Execution Time:- 0.01094301 seconds
    Returns 2 resultsets
    3) SQL like (two%)
    SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS(n) */ ROWNUM RNUM, A.* FROM LINE A
    WHERE A.REFERENCE like '%KMF22600920%'
    Execution Time:- 6.43989658 seconds
    Returns 2 resultsets
    In Pagination, we are using Modified version of SQL Query 3) with ROWNUM as mentioned below :-
    4) SELECT * FROM (
    SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS(n) */ ROWNUM RNUM, A.* FROM LINE A
    WHERE REFERENCE like '%KMF22600920%' AND ROWNUM <= 20 ) WHERE RNUM > 0
    Execution Time:- Infinite
    ResultSets:- No as execution time is infinite
    a) Instead of like if we use = in the above query it is returning the 2 resultsets (execution time 0.02699282 seconds)
    b) Instead of two % in the above query, if use one example REFERENCE like 'KMF22600920%' it is returning the 2 resultsets (execution time 0.03313019 seconds)
    Issue:- When using two % in like in the above query i.e. REFERENCE like '%KMF22600920%' AND ROWNUM <= 20 ) , it is going to infinite.
    Could you please let us know what is the issue with two % used in like and rownum
    5) Modified version of Option1 query (move out the RNUM condition AND RNUM <= 20)
    SELECT * FROM (
    SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS(n) */ ROWNUM RNUM, A.* FROM LINE A
    WHERE REFERENCE like '%KMF22600920%' ) WHERE RNUM > 0 AND RNUM <= 20
    Execution Time:- 7.41368914 seconds
    Returns 2 resultsets
    Is the above query is best optimized query which should be used for the Pagination or still can improve on this ?

    This would be easier to diagnose if there was an explain plan posted for the 'good' and 'bad' queries. Generally speaking using '%' on both sides precludes the use of any indexes.

  • How to queue custom events with out using af:calientListener.- onKeyUp.

    Hi,
    I have a custom component ( extending richinput text).
    defined a new attribute called "onkeyup" and added necessary logic in Renderer. Some thing like
    write.writeAttribute("onkeyup" , "handleEvent()");
    I rendered the java script code too ..... in my custom renderer. ( I neigther want to write java script in metaContainer of document tag nor wants to use resource tag..)
    and the handleEvent code is something like this.
    function handleEvent()
    In this method i want to write the code which pushes my custom event to the queue.
    some thing like this..
    component = event.getSource();
    AdfCustomEvent.queue(component, "customEvent",{payload:component.getSubmittedValue()}, true);
    event.cancel();
    Usually if use a clientListener then it will call the method {  handleEvent(event)  } passing event parameter so that we can get the source of that event.
    But as i dont want to use the clientEventListener.... as of now... i can't get the component because i don have the event object with my method.
    So could any one please letme know , how can i queue my custom event in to my customcomponent... with out using ClientListeners.

    Hi,
    AFAIK, you cannot queue an event to the serverListener without a clientListener.

            studentContact frame = new studentContact();     // constructs new frame
            frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(EXIT_ON_CLOSE);     //exits frame on closing
            frame.setSize(600, 300);          // set size of frame
            frame.setVisible(true);     // displays frame
    }p.s. sorry about the untidy comments!

    OK, so you've got this code here:
    private class ButtonListener implements ActionListener {
      public void actionPerformed (ActionEvent e) {
        if (e.getSource () == exit) {
          System.exit(0); // exits the GUI
        if (e.getSource () == snam) {
        if (e.getSource () == id) {
    }Perfect fine way to do this; although I think creating anonymous would be a bit cleaner:
    snam.addActionListener(new actionListener() {
      public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent ae) {
    });But I think that the real question you have is "what do I put for logic when the JButtons are hit?", right?
    I would answer that you want to dynamically build your SQL statement changing your ordering based on the button.
    So you'd have a method that builds the SQL based on what you pass in - so it takes one argument perhaps?
    private static final int NAME = 1;
                             ID = 2;
    /* ... some code ... */
    snam.addActionListener(new actionListener() {
      public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent ae) {
        buildSQL(NAME);
    /* ... some code ... */
    private void buildSQL(int type) {
      if ( type == NAME ) {
    /* ... build SQL by name ... */
      else if ( type == ID ) {
    /* ... build SQL by id ... */
    }That kind of thing.
    Or you might choose to have several build methods with no parameter type; each building the SQL differently, and calling whichever one you need. I did not read your entire pgm, so I don't know how you'd want to organize it. You need to ask more specific questions at that point.

  • Having an issue with event handling - sql database  & java gui

    HI all, have posted this on another forum but I think this is the correct one to post on. I am trying to construct this hybrid of java and mysql. the data comes from a mysql database and I want it to display in the gui. this I have achieved thus far. However I have buttons that sort by surname, first name, ID tag etc....I need event handlers for these buttons but am quite unsure as to how to do it. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Are you running the 9.0.1 Update of the program and on what computer operating system is it running?
    Is your video card/graphics card driver up to date according to the manufacturer of the card?
    Is your computer optimized, including maintenance of pile ups of preview files, conformed audio files, and conformed video files?
    Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
    What are your project settings and what are the properties of your source media? When you say that "used to be able to export...." is that on the same computer, same brand/model/settings for the camera recording the video now in use, same Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
    Where player are you using for the playback of these exports?
    Please give us more details on the size of the projects (then and now) as well as details of the customized export settings in your Share/Computer/ route. Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 is only a 32 bit application running in 32 bit or 64 bit system. Not sure if computer resources might be taxed more so now than before.
    More later.

  • B2B with BAM using EMS issues

    Hi,
    We have configured the BAM with B2B using EMS based on the steps detailed here:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15586_01/integration.1111/e10229/b2b_bam.htm
    The problem is that the BAM data object is not getting populated. Any ideas?
    Irshad.

    Hi Shankar,
    Make sure that the Data Source which you created is for B2B database and you are using SOAINFRA user in the datasource.

  • Issue in Creation of XML file from ABAP data

    Hi,
    I need to create a XML file, but am not facing some issues in creation of XML file, the in the required format.
    The required format is
    -<Header1 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201D>
       - <Header2 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 10 fields>
              <Header3 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 6 fields/>
              <Header4  1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 4 fields/.>
               <Header5 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 6 fields/>
          </Header2>
       </Header1>
    Iu2019m using the call transformation to convert ABAP data to XML file.
    So please anybody can help how to define XML structure in transaction XSLT_TOOL.
    And one more thing, here I need to put the condition to display the Header 3, Header 4, Header 5 values. If there is no record for a particular line item in header 3, 4 & 5, I donu2019t want to display full line items; this is only for Header 3, 4 & 5.
    Please help me in this to get it resolved.

    Hello,
    you can use CALL TRANSFORMATION id, which will create a exact "print" of the ABAP data into the XML.
    If you need to change the structure of XML, you can alter your ABAP structure to match the requirements.
    Of course you can create your own XSLT but that is not that easy to describe and nobody will do that for you around here. If you would like to start with XSLT, you´d better start the search.

  • Takes up to 5 min "Applying User Settings" with events ID 6005 6006 after a reboot - Win Server 2008 R2 Standard 64bit

    Hi,
    Has anybody seen the issue below showing in the logs? The time for the logs messages switch from the real time (17:57) to some random time (10:55). There seem to be a disconnect with the time. I noticed right when the status message while logging in switches
    to "apply user settings", the time get screwed up on the gpsvc.log file and switches to the random time (10:55) and keeps reporting that random time till "apply user settings" process completes and switches back to regular real time (17:57).
    I made sure the server is synced up with w32tm /resync command. Tried different DNS settings. Tried dis joining and rejoining to the domain. tried to block inheritance on GPMC to that OU. Created new domain user. Deleted local profiles. All with no luck and
    same behavior which is taking up to 5 min "applying user setting" only after a reboot. If I log in and out without reboot, it would log in just fine within seconds.
    Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!
    Thanks,

    The numbers in parenthesis are PID.TID of gpsvc.exe. So we see a thread
    change, and this usually indicates that a different logon process has
    begun. Could you try to map this log entries to events in the group
    policy event log?
    But to be honest: No, I've never seen such a behavior in gpsvc.log :(
    I'm almost sure that a service is responsible, but how to identify it -
    I don't know. There's no auditing for system time changes, AFAIK.

  • Issue in creation of GL masters

    Dear experts,
    I am having an issue in creation of General Ledger Master Record. We have three company codes and all are using the same chart of accounts. Some of the General Ledgers are being used only by one company code and not by other twos. So I need to create them to the corresponding company code only. But, If I create one ledger master in one company code through FS00, the same ledger master is automatically getting created in other company codes also. Normally if we create any ledger master through FSP0 i.e., only Chart of Accounts segment, the company code segment should not get created.  But in my case, both chart of account segment as well as company code segment also getting created.
    If any one of  you know the solution, please post it  here. I will be so thankful to you.
    Thanks and regards
    Vijaya Kumar S

    I tried to create the Chart of Account segment only with FSP0. But that time also the general ledger master created to all the company codes with company code segment. It is taking the company code segment settings of another General Ledger master which was created in the same account group. But generally, if we create the Chart of Account segment, it must create only the chart of account segment and not the company code level segment.
    It is working fine in testing and development client. But in the production client only I am getting this kind of problem.
