Issue in Step 12-Maintain User Assignment in Portal (RSPOR_SETUP)

Hi,
I had issue with step 12--Maintain User Assignment in Portal when running prog RSPOR_SETUP [to setup BEx Web configuration] with error " System failure during call of function module RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST".
Note: BI certificate was already exported & imported to Portal.
Evaluate Ticket Login Module is done with trustedsys, trustediss & trusteddn.
Evaluate Assertion Ticket Login Module is done with trustedsys, trustediss & trusteddn.
User-id: bex_admin with SAP_ALL in ABAP and mapping is done in Portal as per step 12 intruction.
<b>Error in dev_jrfc.trc:</b>
Exception thrown [Tue Jan 16 09:24:46,102]:Exception thrown by application running in JCo Server
com.sap.engine.services.rfcengine.RFCException: Incoming call is not authorized
at com.sap.engine.services.rfcengine.RFCDefaultRequestHandler.handleRequest(RFCDefaultRequestHandler.java:74)
Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseLoginException: Authentication failed.
Caused by: com.sap.security.core.server.jaas.DetailedLoginException: Authentication failed: Issuer of SAP Logon Ticket is not trusted. Authentication stack: evaluate_assertion_ticket
at com.sap.engine.services.security.login.ModulesProcessAction.run(ModulesProcessAction.java:167)
It looks like the issue with <b>evaluate_assertion_ticket</b> & somehow Portal is not trusted the BI certificate. I tried SAP note 917950, 888687, 878455, 721815, etc. & many more but cannot resolved the issue.
SAP system: NW04s with Java add-in in the same server.
SP stack 9
I appreciate if someone already resolved the same issue and share the solution. I already opened a ticket with SAP but they have no solution yet.

Try maintaining the following property values for the SAP BW System:
Authentication Ticket Type = SAP Assertion Ticket
Logon Method = SAPLOGONTICKET
User Mapping Type = admin,user

Hi,
I am trying to assign a user in the BI system to a user in the portal (all other steps of BI-EP integration have been done).
After I Iog in to the portal and go to iView User Management, I am not able to find User Mapping option anywhere.
I am having the admin rights for this system and the EP version is 7.
Please can anyone guide where I can find user mapping option or if there is any other way to do so.

hi,
If you have configured SSO using tickets then u dont have to do any mapping for the system.
If you want SSO to be acheived using UserMapping:
Go to you BI system->open permissions->Add your user or group-> Dont forgot to CHECK end user checkbox-->save
Go to User Administation->select the group or user->In bottom details of the User or Group will be opened --> System Mapping Tab from left hand corner -->> assign the username and password of BI for that User of Group.

How to maintain User Images in Portal

Hi All,
when clicking on a Member of a Collaboration Room, User Information of this Member is shown including an image of the user.
I would like to know where I can maintain these images. That is to know, where to upload images for a Portal User.

Am not sure what type of BI server installation you have...
But here's one way you could create your users.
From the BI Administration Tool --> Open your repository either offline or online --> From the menu click on Manage --> Security--> Here's where you could create your users, groups etc., set what subject areas each user/group should have access to --> After creating your users/groups you could double-click on the user or group and set permissions.

if user logins in portal, depending on the user we need to assign him a system( bapi or rfc),
the user database is maintained in a table in MDM. if an user login in portal it should check in MDM to which region(america, asia.europe....) it belog,s to. according to that we need to assign the system(rfc or bapi). if the user belong's to two regions we need to assign the two links(rfc's or bapi's) regions,
help me in doing step by step

OIM 9.1.0.2: Remove user assigned to a task in Provisioning Process

I have read Note: Ability to Have Multiple Approvers Per Resource Object in OIM [ID 429999.1], and executed each steps described in it. But when grant these resource object to some user. First the request was not sended directly to a approval process, as had been expected that I would. The request was send to a provisioning process, specifically to user has been assigned a task, when the user approves the request until the request is then sent to approval process.
I need to send directly to a approval process, because that's where I have defined my levels of approval.
I'm using oim 9.1.0.2 BP18 running on OC4J 10.1.3.5 on AIX 6.1 64-bit clustered install with two nodes, Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 on AIX 6.1 64-bit on RAC.

Thanks for your response. Actually i have a Approval Process, where i have defined my levels of approvals. In Resume I have this Env. :
1.- A Resource: ResourceA
2.- A Provisioning Process in relation with ResourceA.
3.- A Approval Process in relation with ResourceA.

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.

4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

Delete User assigned to a task

Hi experts,
I would like to delete a user assigned to a task using the Administration area in guided procedures tab of the portal.
So I go to : Guided procedures TAB --> Administration --> Maintain Processes --> Running process list --> Change Authorization --> New User Assignments
But unlike this document:

the "Remove User" button is not present.
Can someone explain why?

I'm trying to assign a user to a process role.
I set up my process in that way:
Process as root,
sequential block,
First action with callable Object,
Second action with callable Object,
It looks quite easy.
The callable Objects are embedded WD4J UI's and the data transfer GP Context, etc works fine
I'm still starting the process with the GP Designtime center, not via Webdynpro method (startProcess).
The following codesd snippets are placed in the execute method of the first callable object.
I guess a have to use the runtime methods.. not the designtime methods to assign the users

I face with this problem transport roles and analysis authorization with user assigned. When I have created a transport request to move the roles and analysis authorization from development system to test system. I couldnu2019t maintain the user assigned, after transport I have to assigned manually all of user or create a program to fill AGR_USER table or there are other way.

Hi,
In role administration, you have the following options for transporting roles:
You can download the roles from one system and upload them into another
You can import the role from a remote system using RFC
You can transport the roles with the transport function.
Role upload loads all role data, including authorization data from a file into the SAP system. The user assignments for the role and the generated profiles for the role are exceptions in this case.
Transporting Roles with the Role Transport Function
       1.      Start the role administration function by choosing Tools ® Administration ® User Maintenance ® Role Administration ® Roles (transaction PFCG).
       2.      Enter the role to be transported and choose Transport Role.
The Mass Transport of Roles screen appears. You can control the default settings for the options Also transport single roles for composite roles and Also transport generated profiles for roles using Customizing switches (see Role Administration Functions in the section Functions of the Utilities Menu).
You should not change the authorizations profiles of the role after you have included the role in a transport request. If you need to change the profiles or generate them for the first time, transport the entire role again afterwards.

Settings in SU3--Maintain User profile

Hi Everyone
I am facing an issue in export transaction
In SU3 we maintain user profile
In default tab we maintain Decimal notation
We have maintained 1,234,567.89 which working for Indian scenario
While doing transaction for Export transaction however when i enter 10,000.00000 USD as invoice value in the o/p it shows as below
10,000,000.00 but while converting into words it is correctly displayed as USD Ten thousand Only
This is because the entry in the table VBRK is going as 10,000,000.00
Is there any other specific setting by which I can change this display as 10,000.00000 in the o/p

I am facing a problem in Maintain User Attributes
I should get only 5 values for any user in attributes dropdown of attributes for position
But for some users I am getting as 10 values
and for some users I am getting it as 20 values ..
What my doubt is
will it be based on role dependency or anyother one ..

Hello,
The ability of changing attributes via User settings depends on the role
assigned to the user and whether this role has the appropriate rights to
change the attributes.
In this regard, check the customizing below:
SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross Application Basic Settings -> Roles ->
Maintain Attribute Access Rights by Role.
Here you define which parameter can be changed depending on the role
assigned to user in question.

User assignment to purchasing organisation and purchasing groups

Dear Experts,
My issue is related to user assignment to purchasing organisation and purchasing groups.
According to the project requirement, we are using central purchasing organisation and we should create the purchasing organisations and purchasing groups locally. it is not reflected from the back end systems through RFC.
Also we have one more team working with indirect materials and they also use SRM. They have already created the organisation model. Two projects are inter-related and belongs to same department in the company, but main different is one uses direct and the other in-direct materials.
Now we should create our purchasing organisation and purchasing groups and assign the users to it.
If we create it separately means not uder the main root and assign the users, we are able to create shopping cart till the contract. But when i create the new purchasing organisation and purchasing groups under the main root which is created for other project which deals with in-direct materails, i am not able to create shopping cart with the user. I am getting the error
' Process scheme could not be found
Please let me know how to deal with this scenario. here i need to add the purchasing organisation and purchasing groups under main root because of the reason that in the other project, purchasing organisation and purchasing groups defined needs to be accessed by our users as well. I mean the users should be able to access all the purchasing organisation and purchasing groups created under root node which gets the purchasing organisation and purchasing groups from the back end systems and the purchasing organisation and purchasing groups we created manually since we cant get it from back end system since it is central purchasing organisation.

Thanks very much for your time and solution.
Actually the problem was something else and was fixed.
The reason for getting error 'Process schema was not yet defined' is because of missing definition of process schedma for the workflow since the process based workflow setting has been activated.
So this has been resolved by copying the sap standard customizing BC set for SRM workflow using transaction SAPR20 and then process schema for workflow got configured or copied automatically from SAP BC set and the error was removed.
Also the reason for error with user was that no purchaser assignment was done to the purchasing organisation and now it has been done and the users can access the SRM and create shopping cart and the contract.

We are implementing the workflow for n level approval of SC WS14000133.Now when we try to add adhoc approvers by clicking on the ADD APPROVER button,we get the foll error:
"Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment".
I have already referred similar threads on SDN and also the corresponding notes including this one,Error "Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment".The latest note for this error applies for SP08 while we are on SRM server 5.5(SP11).
Has anybody faced a similar issue before?Any inputs will be appreciated.
