Issue with configuration wizard

Hello,
I am trying to build a sandbox just like our production which has 1 Admin, 2 WFE's and 1 SQL on all different servers.  I have installed SQL, Installed admin but while installing WFE1 I had an issue as the drive letters of Admin and WFE1  so
I had to uninstall and reinstall WFE1 (did not get to WFE2 yet). When I ran the configuration wizard on WFE1 I got the error as below
======================
An exception of type System.InvalidOperationException was thrown.  Additional exception information: The current server cannot be joined to this farm because the set of installed products does not match the products installed in the farm.
The license state for the current server doesn't match the farm's license state.

=========================
After some research online I figured GUID's in my configuration DB's and GUID in the registry of WFE1 are different. So I followed the article
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sowmyancs/archive/2012/08/08/the-license-state-for-the-current-server-doesn-t-match-the-farm-s-license-state-sharepoint-psconfig-error.aspx .
So from the article I ran
Set-SPFarmConfig –InstalledProductsRefresh
on WFE1 but it stops and does not finish what it supposed to do (looks like)

  • Issue with configuring Hyperion HUB 7.1.2 with SQLSERVER 2005

    Hello Experts,
One of my customer has an issue with configuring Hyperion HUB 7.1.2 with SQLSERVER 2005.
"We are trying to configure the SQL server 2005 database with Hyperion hub and we are unable to get the cofiguration completed. We suspect the driver class (hyperion.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver) used in the domain.xml (path \Hyperion\HyperionHub\7.2.1\deployments\Tomcat\4.1.30\) is not helping to connect with sql server 2005. We would appreciate if you can provide new driver class which we can included while deploying the app under the web server."

  • Creating an OSB cluster but not with Configuration Wizard

    Hi experts,
I would like to create an OSB cluster but not with Configuration Wizard. So my scenario for creating OSB cluster is:
    - create an AdminServer with Configuration Wizard
    - log into Administration Console and create two machines and a cluster
    - start node managers
    - configuration for starting servers automatically with node managers
After these steps I have a cluster with 2 managed servers which will start with the node manager. However these managed servers are appropriate for deploying normal Java applications but not OSB components...
My questions is what should I do with these managed servers to be able to deploy OSB components onto them?
Or can I create an OSB domain only with Configuration Wizard?
    Thanks,
    V.
Edited by: RickFlair on May 13, 2012 1:10 PM

    Hi Pierluigi,
    Thanks for the answer!
When I created the domain (with Configuration Wizard) I could set that the domain should be an OSB domain so I think I don't need this template afterwards.
If I create an OSB domain (with Configuration Wizard) with one AdminServer in it and later I add managed servers on the admin console then I get this message on the OSB Administration Console: Unable to obtain metrics data from the server. It means that something is wrong with the managed servers I can't use them properly.
However if I create an AdminServer and managed servers with Configuration Wizard then I don't get this error (or warning?) message.
Could you help me why it is?
    Thanks,
    V.

  • N82: issue with sett. wizard

    Hi All,
I'm using a black N82 with the latest FW (V20.0.062) and whenever I try to open the Sett. wizard the phone is freezing (only the wallpaper is displayed). Only a restart (by removing the battery) recovers the phone. I tried also a reset to the factory settings but the problem remains...
Anyone knows a solution to this problem?

Thanks again for your prompt response.
I've never installed additional applications on my phone.
The following 'items' have gone 'into' the phone since purchase:
    1. Mp3 songs.
    2. Contacts via the sim directory.
    3. a Powerpoint presentation via data transfer mode (nearly a month ago, but my issues with the phone surfaced a week ago....so no problem with the ppt i guess)
    4. camera pics, MS outlook calender, to-do and Text messages routinely syncd between my phone and laptop.
    5. Bluetooth transfer out of my phone to another phone for a transfer of pics taken.
Again many weeks ago not followed by adverse effects...
Thanks, it'll take me a while to understand SYNCML. Ill read and try to understand soon.
But then wont PC suite take care of contacts backup n restore, etc?
If so, where can i find the contacts stored in my computer and in what format?
For instance, the photos and text msgs - synced - are stored in Lifeblog folder under my documents folder and can be easily accessed via the LifeBlo application both on the phone and the computer/laptop.
PS: I also managed to update the software today, with the help of Nokia Software updater app on my laptop.
    Keeping this all in mind:
I reckon, the m-card and perhaps phone memory are affected. Maybe the camera application as well.
If this is proved, i think, then i m-card format and hard reset is the way forward.
    Thanks again.

  • Issues with patch wizard utility

We downloaded the infobundle manually due to issues with metalink credentials, When we go to run a patch recommendaiton report (with the second filter in the list) it is still giving the error in the log:

Please use the MetaLink Credentials page to enter the login credentials you use to connect to the Oracle MetaLink.
The MetaLink Credentials page can be accessed from Setup (Icon on the top right) > MetaLink Credentials link."
Why would it fail if you have already downladed the bundle manually.
Also it shows further down the error log:

  • Issue with configuration of 'Special Function' to a custom output type

    Hi Experts,
In my project we have a requirement to configure a custom output type for application V3 (billing) and assign a Special Function to it. I have assigned a custom Program Name and a custom form routine within the custom output type in Processing Routines (in NACE). But when I try to save the Billing document using VF01 / VF02 it gives me an error saying 'Processing Routine XXXXX in program ZXXXXX does not exist'. I have double checked that the Z program is activated. I have declared as follows:
    REPORT ZXXXX.
    FORM XXXX USING return_code us_screen.
Can anyone please tell me if I am missing something?
    Thanks,
    Avi

    Hi Neil,
Now this error is resolved. It does not give me that message anymore. But I am getting a new error while saving the billing document with the customized output type. Following is my configuration in NACE:
    Application: V3
    Output Type: ZMAM
    Program: YVRO_TOLLING
    Form Routine: F_FETCH_AND_PREPARE_DATA
I am trying to place a break-point within the form routine F_FETCH_AND_PREPARE_DATA but it does not stop there. When go back inside the billing document, it shows an error against the ZMAM output type but has nothing in the processing log. Am I missing something?

  • Issue with configuring an enterprise outlook which was working fine 4 weeks before

    Hi all,
I am facing below error from past few days.
    Microsoft Outlook
The name cannot be resolved.  The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.
    OK
Could anyone tell me what i can do to fix this and access my outlook?
    Regards,
    Chaitanya K

    Hi,
As far as I know, the error is mostly likely related to connectivity issue. thus, we can firstly try to check the connectivity and here are some troubleshooting:
Change another Outlook client to configure the account.
Check if you can access your account through OWA.
    Directly access the following URL:
    https://autodiscover.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

  • Issue with Upload wizard in APEX 4.2

    Hi,
We have APEX 4.2. We have a table with 70 columns. So to load data to that table we are using upload data wizard. Due to 50 columns limitation in APEX upload wizard, we have divided the upload file in two parts , file 1 with first 40 columns and file 2 with 30 columns and both of them have same primary keys included.
When we load the data to the table through file 1 , data is loaded successfully but when we try to load file 2 , wizard shows data was updated but the data is not reflected in the table. What could be the reason ? Please advice.
    Regards,
    Andy

    Hi Pat,
So currently we are using the following approach
    1. Split the file into two files (file 1 and file 2) with primary key included in both the files.
    2. We have two temp tables where these files will be uploaded resp, and it will also capture the username in the tables.
    3. When the 2nd file is done uploading ,we match the # of rows in both the tables by that user if it matches we run a sql to insert/update data in the actual table.
    4. If the record count doesn't match (means if file 1 and file 2 are not in sync) we delete the data from the temp tables just for that user and then user can reload it.
    5. Once the insert/update is done and when the user tries to load the file again , we delete old data from the temp tables just for that user.
So every time user loads data ,it will maintain data only for that load.
So this way multiple users are able to upload files.
Also currently we finished development of alternate method to load entire file at once.In this approach we are not using upload utility, we have option where user can upload the file (1st page of upload utility) and then procedure is kicked of to get the file from wwwv_flow_files (APEX table) from a BLOB column.
Data is parsed using a procedure and then inserted/updated into the original table.
I hope this helps. Kindly let me know if you need more details.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Andy

  • Issue with configuration of another sunray server on same network

    Hello,
I'm wondering whether it's possible to have another sun ray environment in the same network next to another.
I'm trying to setup a test environment to do some testing, but after installing the server the only server displayed in the test sunray webGUI is the production sunray server. Luckily I cannot do anything with it, because if I could do actions with the production server from the test server that would be a huge security issue.
    Kind regards,
    J

Just FYI, a sunray server array will have a group signature that is shared amongst other members in that array. If a new sunray server is setup with a different group signature, they should not care about eachother.
