Issue with latest BlackBerry 10.3. 1.1565

After the successful upgrade of the latest software, my ringtones and notifications volume is extremely soft. I have went into settings and reset all the volume levels at max for ringtones and notifications. Playing a song from the media is perfectly fine an d loud enough. I cannot hear the phone ringing, nor any notifications. Can someone please assist wityh this. I cannot continue like this because the phone will become assolutely useless to me.

Memory Card Issue with my BlackBerry Curve 9300

Hello,
I have been using the memory card for more than a year. It's a SanDisk or a ScanDisk memory card. It's 8 GB. I didn't use the card that came with my BlackBerry Curve 9300 phone. I'm always trying to delete files or to copy files, most of them are music files from my laptop to the memory card via memory card reader.
Now I am encountering a message that I need to repair the memory card whenever I try to insert it to my phone again. And most of the time whenever the phone automatically repairs it, some files are corrupted or considered as a "lost chunk files".
How can I recover those files? And why did it happen or always happen in the first place?

So what I did is to copied everything to my laptop then reformatted it completely.
It kinda solved the issue but for how long will I won't be experiencing the "repair memory card" issue and the "lost chunk files" issue?
Do I need another program to reformat the memory card and not to use the one that comes with every windows computer?
Does using a memory card reader or using a memory card adapter (for the microSD card) corrupts the memory card?
I have been researching on how to completely recover the files but I'm a bit confused.
There are a lot of recovery programs out there.
Can you guys help me out here? Thanks.

I think you should try each and everyone of the solutions suggested in the link I provided, given that it covered both harware and software suggestions. And always reset the device by removing the battery whilst the device is powered-on. Leave the battery out for a minute or 2 after each step.
See if that resolves the problem.

Performance issues with latest iTunes update

Hello everyone,
I'm having somewhat of an issue with the latest update for iTunes (10.5), ever since the update was installed the 'AppleMobileDeviceService.exe' is using all my processing power.
Now I know my laptop isn't the latest spec, but before this was never an issue. The only way I can still work with it is when I turn off the service via the Task Manager.
When I launch the iTunes programme it gets even worse, another service called 'APSdeamon.exe' is eating up the processor aswell, albeit they both consume 50% now. As a result I cannot access the iTunes Store or do much else.
I do have to mention all my music is stored on an external HDD which is connected via USB to my laptop, but this was never any different.
I've reïnstalled all Apple components twice already, one including a specific deletion of all Apple program folders manually.
Since I can always turn off the services manually it isn't a big issue, but does anyone have any suggestions or ideas how this could be resolved?

Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
When you get to the step to uninstall iTunes, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.

Issues with latest Illustrator CC update

Issue with the latest update of illustrator CC on windows 7
When copping large elements in illustrator its crashing and its crashing when dragging them across to Photoshop. I didn't have this problem until I updated yesterday afternoon.
Its also not opening PDF files if illustrator is already open. If illustrator is closed then I choose to open a PDF in illustrator it will work, but not if a document is already open in illustrator. Will not open from bridge either, but drag and drop does still work.
I'm having to revert back to CS5 until the problem is resolved as its destroying my work flow

Issues with latest itunes update?

i been having issues with the latest itunes update. i did the update but during the final installation something happened and i keep gettng a message telling me "library runtime error" or something of the sort. i deleted any and all apple from my laptop and tried reinstalling only to hav same problem. then i did a system restore to se if that would help and still had same problem. now i have itunes installed in desktop also and the same update reminder popped up and i am reluctant to do the update there for fear of the same thing happening to that as well. wondering if anyone has encountered this issue in the past and how did they resolve the problem. any and all advise is welcome.

Compatibility & file corruption issues with latest LibreOffice

Prior to the most recent update of LibreOffice, I had no serious issues exchanging documents with Word users or importing, exporting and editing files in Writer.
The latest version is causing me several headaches. First, exporting to .doc format seems to create documents which Word users cannot open except in Google docs and, if opened in Google docs, they cannot edit them without the formatting disappearing. Exporting to .docx seems to work better but I don't like doing this in case the person has an older version of Word.
Also, my computer crashed while I was editing a document originally imported from Word. When I restarted, LibreOffice successfully recovered the file but the formatting was so screwed up that I had to get a fresh copy of the application form I was completing and start again. (Actually, I could copy and paste text successfully so I wasn't starting again from nothing but it was still pretty annoying as I'd almost finished the application when the crash occurred.)
Was I just unlucky? Or is anybody else seeing issues with the latest version?

As long as you have a bullet in "choose a folder to save the file in every time" then it will not save files to a folder or automatically accept incoming files. If it pops up about the new automatic saving you would click on "settings" and toggle it back to you preferred setting. The only other exception to that are images. Images sent to you via a mobile are sent to the cloud and will be cached/downloaded into your media folder. That cannot be avoided. You can cancel ongoing transfers on your end but not pending transfers.

Two issues with latest update for Windows

I have noticed 2 issues with the new update. When I have a file transfer I don't want, there is no longer a cancel link. Also, when saving a file transfer that I do want, it saved it to the default location and updated my preferences to always do that. It should respect the option setting to prompt me for a download location.

Issues with latest update to 7.0.2

I did the update to my Iphone 4S. Now entering my passcode causes a delay of 10 sec. It is sticking after the first number is entered. No issues with update with ipad mini. Please advise

You could also get rid of the passcode and put it back after a couple of hours, you never know....

Possible Issue with Latest Office 2001 Update

In the last few days my MB Air mid-2013 with Mavericks did an Office 2011 update to Version 14.3.9. Today I used it for the first time and Excel crashed each time I tried to use it. To get the job done I had to revert to the earlier build (version 14.3.8) from a backup and that appears to work normally.
I don't know if this is an issue with Mavericks or if the update to 14.3.9 would have crashed with ML, too. Nor do I know if Word would have crashed since I had to get the task in Excel done before an appointment.

Hi, I've been with straight talk for about 2 weeks without any problem - switching --porting--pics.....all went well . Now my phone ( iPhone 3c) shows iOS update waiting..
Due to all I have read here & there,I'm a bit uneasy to do the update. Has anyone had any issues with lates t2014 ios update using ST? Will it affect the working of the phone if I don't do update? Thanks for any input.

Hi, Glad that worked for you. I don't know why this is happening other than to offer an opinion. This hardware acceleration was causing an issue with the previous version of FP also. I think that this technology is ready but the websites are not, youtube included.
The same thing happened with Flash Player for the mobile phones, Android in particular. Adobe was ready but had to wait on Google to catch up. So the users thot Adobe was at fault, but that wasn't the case. Google had to update and that was done with their 2.2 update. This is not an opinion however. I followed this because users were coming here asking why Flash Player wasn't available for their Android:-)
Adobe/Microsoft/Mac/Linux are all involved and if one advances a particular technology that effects the others, then each one must make a change for that technology to work. At least that's how I see it.

I have a 218 MB PSD file that is causing me major headaches. Any time I start up the file, dragging a single layer goes at about 2 frames per second. However, if I delete one layer or simply cut and paste a layer, the lag is fixed.
From the video:
- Deleting a hidden layer fixes the lag
- Removing one background layer fixes the lag
- Cutting and pasting any background layer onto a new layer fixes the lag...
Saving and returning to the doc causes it to lag again.
Anyone know what's going on? Photoshop Preferences:

- Happens in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions
- I have the same issue with Photoshop CC 2014.

Boot Rom/BIOS emulation issue with latest iMacs?

Firstly thanks for viewing.
We've just bought 34 new iMac's and previously had (and still have) 60 odd Aluminum iMac's dual booting OS X/Windows which have no problems.
The new iMacs though seem to be having huge issues with booting Window's the first 2 attempts wether using Apple's Startup Manager or rEFIt.
The first attempt the machine will just hang after at a grey screen after volume selection and the second attempt you will receive a "Disk Read Error" and the third attempt the machine will boot normally and this behavior is happening on all of the brand new 34 iMac's.
rEFIt produces the following error:
Error: Not found return from legacy loader;
Error: not found from locatedevicepath;
Error: not found from locatedevicepath;
Error: load error while (re)opening our installation volume;
Which leads me to believe the issue lies with Apple's Boot Rom and the hand over between EFI and BIOS emulation.
I have tried multiple installs of OS X Snow Leopard with 32 bit XP, 32 bit Vista and & 32 bit Windows 7 as well as using Bootcamp 3.1 which really only add's driver support for Windows 7 no Boot Rom updates.
If anyone is having similar issue's I'd love to hear and any work arounds you may have.

Thanks for your reply . But I cannot find anything related to my problem in the link you attached (or it’s “sublinks”). One sublink is about an annoying usb3 bug with some problem related to the S3 sleep state. (Maybe this is the one you are referring to?) But I do not have this problem, I can wake my PC from the S3 sleep state via my connected USB devices. The problem I have is that I also start my PC after a shutdown (=S5 state I assume) via my connected USB devices, which I do not want to happen since too easy to start the PC accidently for example by just moving the mouse a little bit. As I write above, I think this is caused by MSI:s choice to configure their BIOS regarding “Resume from S3/S4/S5 by USB Device”. If I am right about the cause to my problem, I guess MSI should have chosen this resume option without the "…S4/S5…" or at least without the "S5" (By the way, I seem to have version C2 of the Z87 chipset if I understand a note correct on the MB box.)
Again, am I correct about my idea to the cause of this problem?? Can someone please advise how to solve it if possible??

ISSUE WITH LATEST VERSION 7.6.9. QT

I have a quick time movie showing a 360' photograph which had previously worked ok in qt but since installing new version it crashes in every browser.I have uninstalled and gone back to earlier version though this means I can't update itunes.
Error given was that the QuickTime PlugIn 7.6.9 crashed.

We too have this issue. We deliver QuickTime .mov file panoramic images via our product. The problems as well an the amount and type of new issues we have with QuickTime player are staggering!!
