Issue with OID Connector

Hi All,
I have OIM 11g BP05 installed and OID Connector 11g version installed on my system. Till yesterday, provisioning and reconcilliation was working fine but today after managed server restart, I started seeing below error in the oim_server1.log:

Nothing has been modified wrt to the configuration. "D3C37FB779E9009EE0430AD1D042009E" is the value of orclguid of a user.
Any idea/pointers for fixing this issue?

Any updates i am facing same problem.

The change resolved the issue, Thanks a lot :).
But when i give Organisation DN as "" (I just cleared the value in the process form), The provisioning is failed.
Is this Organisation DN a mandatory attribute????
Also it would be great if you could share the rational behind those changes.
I am very new to OIM , please bare with my ignorance.

CU5 failed due to issues with receive connectors

We have a CAS server (mail1, 10.1.0.26) and Mailbox server (mbx1, 10.1.0.25). When I ran the update on the mailbox server, it failed with the following errors (see below). The update completed successfully on the CAS server. It appears

Issues with OID Installation

I am trying to configure an OID store to use it for external authentication with ODI. I installed IDM 11.1.1.2 and applied patch IDM11.1.1.3. When I am trying to configure OID, (I am trying to configure without a domain, I get the following error:
When I run the configuration wizard : $ORACLE_MWHOME/Oracle_IDM1/bin/config.sh, I had the following error:

OIM 11g (11.1.1.5.0) issue with AD connector after importing into new env

OIM 11g 11.1.1.5.0
I had exported the AD connector from our Dev environment and imported it into Test. When I try to assign the AD resource to a user, provisioning is stuck on the AD Create User adapter, specifically the isADAM Task.
I'm assuming something isn't populated in the IT resource or there is a disconnect in the tables after the import. The IT Resource config looks identical to the Dev env, isADAM = no. The group and org recon jobs run fine and it gets past the server validation task.
If anyone can point me in the right direction to resolve this, I would greatly appreciate it.

This has been fixed. For reference, we had a slightly different resource name in the AD Server prepopulate adapter which was causing issues even if the correct ad server was selected in the user form.

Issue with attunity connectors for SSIS 2012

hi ,
i have installed the attunity connectors for teradata .
the connector is able to transfer data from teradata to sql server pretty fast but there are some issues which i am facing .
any help is appreciated.
steps i am using :
1. i am pulling data from teradata to sql server using a sql command .
the issue .
the query which i type in teradata source should be in a line else it will throw a error for new line character.
2nd issue :
the teradata source pulls the data but the package(when executing from Data Tools visual studio) doesnot completes successfully . it says that package is successfully executed please click here to switch to design mode .
so if there is any step after this step then it will not execute and the package gets stuck at this point .

So as ypou can see the third image contains the no of rows in the table in teradata is264558. bu the no of rows transferred from teradata to sql server is 254696. and this keeps on running even when u can see that the first snapshot says that the package
has finished the execution . but data is still pending .
seems like a wierd issue . Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Issues with OID server

While trying to start the OID server using opmnctl..I am seeing the following issues in the
DispatcherListener: sgslunlListen: Listen failed, OS error = (98)
DispatcherListener: Listen on (IPV4) NON SSL port = 389 failed, ignoring ...
After OID server is started, when I do ' netstat -an | grep 389 ' I could see the following error in the oidldapd01-0001.log

unix 3 [ ] STREAM CONNECTED 542750389 /tmp/orbit-root/linc -662a-0-59f324c447e02
From the above o/p an other process is using the port 389. So I tried to run the following command under Oracle_Home/bin
oidctl connect=odidb server=oidldapd instance=1 config=0 flags='-p 3060' start
Now after running the above oidctl command I could see the following error in the oidldapd01-0001.log

Running Linux (or another, IPV6 enabled platform) by any change? Check if IPV4 is still enabled; many distro's don't do both

We are trying to install the RACF Advanced Connector in OIM.After copying Connector to the ConnectorDefaultDirectory in OIMSERVER , we are trying to install the connector from the OIMAdmin Console. We are able to see the RACF connector version in the dropdown box, when we click on the Load button we are getting the SystemError Page.
Please let us know if there are any prequisites we need to take care before installing the connector,we dodn't find anything on this in the connector documentation.

Issue with Business connector to ECC

Hi All,
We are having issues when the orders from BC to vendors are failing.The chain is like this ECC idoc to BC conversion happens to xml and then sends to the vendors.We are getting a message saying like this

OIM-OID provisionning issue with external plug in with AD

Hi OIM/OID Guru's,
We are using OIM with OID connector and having external authentication plug-in feature of OID with AD. Here we are using OID for user profile storage and doing password validation by using external plugin through AD however we have been
facing one issue which is mentioned below :-
Whenever we are creating any user in through OIM and found that user is provisioned to the OID target source but populating wrong value of attribute orclSourceObjectDN in OID process form:-
orclSourceObjectDN = cn=OIDTEST3,CN=Users,DC=oracle-test,DC=oracle,DC=com
correct value should be orclSourceObjectDN =cn=OIDTEST3,CN=Users,DC=oracle,DC=com
we don't have any container in OID with DC=oracle-test however not sure how the process form is picking up this value?
However could you please put more light why it is appending wrong DN in OIM process form? Where should i check for this from OIM side?

OID Connector Installation error

Hi All,
I am trying to intergrate OIM 11.1.1.5.0 with OID Connector 9.0.4 to provision the Users. While Installation i am getting the error as " DOBJ.XML_IMPORT_ERROR DUPLICATE OUG " in the Connector Installation page and Import of Connector XML Files (Using Deployment Manager) got failed.
Please suggest me, to resolve this issue.

Thanks for your reply and apologize for late.
I tried your Query (select OBJ_KEY from AMWAY_OIM.OBJ where OBJ_NAME='Give OID Resource Name') but it gave me an error as Table or view doesn't exist.
I tried query as select OBJ_KEY from DEV_OIM.OBJ where OBJ_NAME='OID User'. Here OID user is Resource Name .
Note: I have taken this Resource Name from OIM Console-> Manage Resource.
The Query gives result as OBJ_KEY=> 41 .
Need help on the below three Questions::
     1.Is this OBJ_KEY wants to delete from DB?
     2. To get the OID rows we used Query as select * from DEV_OIM.OUG; but to identify the OID rows particularly why we didn't use DEV_OIM.OUG table name in the Query OBJ_KEY from DEV_OIM.OBJ where OBJ_NAME='OID User' ?
I have this doubt because I don't see OBJ_KEY=> 41 when I ran this Query select * from DEV_OIM.OUG;
     3.Is the OID Resource Name is correct, which I have taken from OIM console?
Please suggest me and clear the doubts.

i would like to intaract with oid and bring the all groups which were resides in
oracle intrnet directory through ldap. can u please give me the procedure
that i can follow or else suggest me a documentation regarding this .

try this (behaviour not garranteed):
For local groups (groups within the Portal's group install base) you can program a loop on the table PORTAL.WWSEC_GROUP$ then read the column NAME.
For non local groups, use the (unsupported) API wwsec_oid (function get_group_name_from_dn(wwsec_group$.dn) ) instead of reading the NAME column.
If the result is incomplete (synchro issues with OID for instance due to DIP) you'll have to use ldap request with DBMS_LDAP package.(or java alternative, of course)

OID 11.1.1.5.0 Connector Issue With Logging in OIM 11.1.1.5.0

I am using OpenLDAP as my target system for the OID connector. I am following the OID 11.1.1.5.0 documentation section "2.1.6.1 Enabling Logging on Oracle Identity Manager". I placed the first part inside the <log_handers> tag and the second part inside the <loggers> tag.

The "oid_connector.log" was created for me, but no logs are being printed out whenever I do anything related with LDAP in the OIM console.
Any insights on how to fix this issue?

Business Connector 4.7 connection issue with GB HMRC

Inland Revenue have changed their URL's and SAP issued a new note 1614588 for this change. As instructed in the note I installed the new package and now when we try to poll with Inland revenue we get a connection refused.
I am not too familiar with the Business connector. I have looked in the log but cannot find what URL it is trying to access. I also noticed the package in the note is exactly the same size as the old one and the files included in the package are all modified in 2006. This implies to me that nothing was changed between the old package we had and the new one. I have raised this issue with SAP but have got no response yet.
Any suggestions on how to investigate this connection refused issue?

I never found and anwser to this problem, I was forced to create an webclient and exchange an XML file. Which also only worked correctly if the content-type was equal to:
ContentType = "application/x-sap.rfc; charset=UTF-8";

OID Connector.User Id includes "\" when seen through ODSM

Hi All
I provsioned a user with OID resource. The prepopulate adapter populates the user id as firstname.lastname.
When I see the uid on the target it appears as firstname\.lastname.
Whats going wrong here? any ideas?

Haven't heard such issues.
prepopulate adapter populates the user id as firstname.lastnameIt means your adapter is working fine.
Check the OID connector code, how they are handling spaces or . in userid.
Can you create user in OID with userid firstname.lastname directly ?
