Issues dealing with dbms.lob.converttoclob()

Question

I am having issues with converting lobs to clob, any pointers?

For example, I sent an email with the following attribs:
Subject: p1
Body: p1
I see the following output in the tables...

From the header content, you can see that the <SS_HEADER> tag is corrupted.
