3. Retina Display Randomly Pixelates, when opening Smart Case Cover from locked state.

  • Pages having Korean font issues after iOS 7 update.

iWork on my ipad and iphone cannot handle Korean font after iOS 7 update.  It displays Korean correctly in those documents I created before the recent iOS 7 update, but breaks down as soon as I try to edit them.  Anyone has the same problem with international fonts?  Is there anyway to fix the problem? Is it an iWork issue or the iOS 7 issue?  It certainly does not look like a hardware issue, because other apps work fine indeed.

You should report this to Apple (as others have):

my iphone 4 issues are as follow after ios 5 update:
camera sometimes takes low resolution photos (without zoom)
camera sometimes goes blank (blank screen)
    can anyone help?

You probably haven't "lost" the zoom feature on your iPhone 4, you probably missed that you now activate it using the pinch to zoom rather than tapping on the screen...

  • Home button issues after iOS 8 update

Has anyone experienced problems with their home button after the iOS 8 update? When I am trying to exit an app using the home button I press it once, but then the iPhone acts as if I have pressed it twice quickly and brings me to the "multitasking screen". It doesn't always do this error, but it is not uncommon and it is very annoying. It never did this before the iOS 8 update. I may try to just restore the iPhone but first I want to see if anyone else is having the same problems or has any suggestions how to fix it. Thanks!!
    ~Rich

Not sure if you remember, but on previous iPhones you can reset your home button by doing this:
         >Open your Stocks App
         >while there, press & hold the power button as if you're about to turn the device off
         >once the "slide to power off" screen pops up, stop pressing the power button and press & hold the home button.  Your screen may flash a couple times but it should return to your apps screen (or home screen, w/e screen you were at before) and the Stocks App should close.  Supposedly this resets the home button
    OR
go into your Accessibility setting under General and set your "Home-click speed" to default.  That setting may have changed when you updated.
Let me know if this works...

  • Itunes issue for ios 5 update

I am trying to update my iphone with the ios 5 update through my itunes, however-everytime I sign into itunes it says "itunes could not connect to the itunes store. the network connection has timed out" please help!

That error message often means that you have some software on your computer which is blocking the connection to the iTunes store.  For Windows computers, this is often one of the free anti-vrus/anti-malware programs and worse, t generally waits until the last couple minutes of teh large file download to error out.
This has been discussed many times before.

  • Video app usage issues since ios 8 update

I use my iPad Air (as well as iPad mini, iPhone 5 and iPhone 6) to watch videos I have purchased through iTunes, streaming them. They used to download onto the device as I watched them so I could delete them. Since the update, I am able to watch these movies/TV shows, but they do not download to my device. They are, however, taking up space in "usage," though I cannot get to them to delete. (It is showing I have videos in Settings > General > About. But when I go to Settings > General > Usage, there are no videos showing.) I have to download them individually to the device in order to then delete them.
I have contacted support numerous times, even being instructed to completely resetting the device THREE times. They have transferred me numerous times to different "Supervisors" only to get more run around. I have spoken to people on the phone, being told an engineer would contact me. That was nearly a week ago, and NO ONE has contacted me.
The issue seems to be with streaming my iTunes content since the update. I don't know what else to do.

My iPhone 6 is acting weird on charging. It started when using an external power battery. No charging with it. Then I tried the Apple charger and cable. No way. Battery went off. iPhone shut down. I tried a recovery. It seemed all was ok again. After hours restoring my backup. Then I tried another external battery. Again the same situation. So it seems that Apple did some software barriers to avoid third party batteries.
Before ios 8.3 at least there was a warning about not supported chargers. Now it the worst situation, as one has to recover the whole system.
    Contacting Apple care tomorrow....let's see.

  • Iphone 5 touchscreen issue with iOS 7 update

I downloaded the upgrade the day it came out and there were no issues for the first few days. Then about a week later my touchscreen started wigging out. I would not even touch the screen and letters no where near where my finger was would start being typed into the box. I could not select anything on the screen cause it would scroll and select other things, and I was having issues with closing out the apps.
I am averaging 3-5 hard reboots a day and the soft reboots don't seem to have any effect on it.
When I do the hard reboots, it will work for just a few min and then do the same as before.
I restored the phone back to factory settings and redownloaded the phone and I didnt think that I was going to get the password in for the apple ID cause it was doing the same as before. No dropping or wetting of the phone has occurred. I was also able to update to the 7.0.2 and this did nothing.
Anyone have any suggestions or having the same problems?

I have these issues, on both my iphone 5 and ipad using ios7.0.2 (and all apps have been updated also. I am actually amazed that this forum is not full of complaints about this, such are the number of issues and regularity of their occurrence! I have spoken to friends who also experience freezing, crashing and an erratic touchscreen since updating to ios 7.
The issues (on both iphone 5 and ipad) can be summarised as follows: 1- touchscreen behaves erratically, keyboard use and scrolling in pages no longer as easy as before. 2- apps crash, regularly, particularly mail and calendar. I have linked both mail and calendar to office 365 and wonder if this is anything to do with it?  Have to close and restart the app in order to resolve. 3- the whole os crashes & freezes requiring a hard reboot.
I wish I could reinstall the previous os!

  • Sync issues after iOS 8 update

    Hi,
I have an iPhone 5S, 64 GB. After updating to iOS8 I got sync issues. "Waiting for changes to be applied" never disappeared. Also the storage usage in iTunes 11.4 is wrong. iTunes said I had 6GB free, when I had in fact 20GB. I restored the phone back to firmware, restored the backup. All was fine until I made setting changes in iTunes what I want to sync. The same issue in iTunes is back again. I already deleted my voice memos as someone recommended in another threat but that didn't help.
Any ideas how I can solve the problem, would be appreciated. Thank you!

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

  • Ipad mini retina blue screen issue after ios 8 update

After update to iOS8 over wifi, my iPad Mini with Retina Display is working perfectly, however I had an issue twice since yesterday. While using it, I observed the screen became totally blue (like Windows crashing) and the ipad restarted. Anyone facing such issues?

    (A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.
    (B) Try reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset

  • Multiple issues after iOS 5 update (iPhone 4)

I'd like to know if others have experienced these issues, and more importantly if they were able to fix them. It's really frustrating.
    1.  Sticky keys. Just like the 4.0 update when the 4 came out, my 3GS suffered the same issues. You start typing and the keys "stick" and typing appears in fits and starts on the screen.
    2.  Glitchy Safari screen manipulation. Resizing, panning and scrolling the screen. It locks up and can't be moved sometimes.
    3.  WiFi networks. Refuses to connect sometimes, gives "unable to connect" error. Even on my home network where it connected perfectly before. Sometimes it takes forever to connect.
    4.  Downloads fail. Downloading Podcasts like TED talks on WiFi stop at some random point and have to be restarted. I have maybe a 25% success rate with downloads.
    5.  Crashing apps. Doesn't matter what app it is; I'm experiencing random crashes, usually immediately after starting the app.
    6.  Cellular network. Sometimes it just sits there saying "searching..." and it takes several minutes to connect. Sometimes after connecting it says "could not connect to cellular data network".  Then it connects.
    Any solutions or ideas?

Restore complete, will work with it for a few days and see how it goes.

  • IPhone 4 issues after iOS 6 update

I own the iPhone 4 and updated to iOS 6. My phone is not working right anymore. I have multiple problems from sound, over shortcuts, apps to speed and battery life. How can I fix all my problems, so my phone works as it dud before I installed iOS 6?

I had the same problems! IOS 6 absoltely RUINED my iPhone 4! However, restoring AS A NEW iPhone fixed my problems! I had done a bunch of restores, but always restored from my backup. Restoring as a new phone has aleviated my phone of all my problems. make sure you back up ur contacts, calendars to the cloud before you do this. Your music, apps, pictures and videos will all be able to be put back, however contacts and emails will only be restored if you back up to the cloud BEFORE the restore. But definitely give this a try. Worked for me!

  • IPhone system wide audio volume issues after iOS 5 update...

I have an iPhone 4 (CDMA) that I updated to iOS 5 on launch day. I didn't notice it at first, and maybe it's just my imagination, but the volume of everything on the phone seems to have gotten a bit lower. Not only music, but also all ringtones, SMS tones... everything. I checked to make sure all the volume sliders are up; they are. I also made sure volume and accessibility settings are set appropriately; they are as well. I'm stumped on this and unfortunately I don't have another iPhone running iOS 4 to test this with. I have searched the forums here and on Google to no avail; it seems that either people haven't begun posting about this yet, or it's not a problem with most users. Is anyone else noticing this and if so, is there a workaround?

    Hey there,
Thanks for the tip. I tried it, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. I noticed a glitch a few days ago - when I unlocked my phone and went to listen to some music (through an ihome), there was barely any sound. I touched the volume slider (which was already at max volume) and it shot back up to normal. I still think that ringtones/smstones are softer than iOS 4 though.

  • Boothtooth connection issues after iOS 5 update

Ever since updating to iOS5 I've had issues with the boothtooth connection in my car. The music function freezes(or is on constant pause), if the music is playing it doesnt show identify the correct tracks.
.....and I can not hear voicemail through the car speakers?

Not sure if my experience can help you, but I hope so:
