  • Web browsers on macbook pro only loading certain websites, why? all others say "no data received"

For the past day or two only certain websites will load on my 2011 macbook pro (facebook, google, apple on Google Chrome and just Facebook on Safari), but none others that I've found.  Also all links on these sites that take you to another site result in the "no data received" message in google chrome.  PC's on my homes interenet connection working just fine without these errors.  Why am I getting selective internet ability?  Please help, thank you.

  • Have you bought macbook pro here at apple website??

Hello People, I am new in this forum so i dont know if i posted the right question in the right forum. So anyway, i am planning to buy macbook pro 13" and wondering what is "as low as £34.58 a month" i copied and pasted the info and you can read it below. So as i said, i dont get what is that as low as a month £34.58... DOes that mean i have to pay almost £35 a month when i buy a £999 macbook pro? Sorry for bad english, and thank you for stopping.

    Hi jp72,
You have the option to buy the machine, outright for £999, or you can pay £35/month for a specific period of time. Are you familiar with how financing works?
That £35/month is paid over 36 monthly installments, so you end up paying £1260 for a computer that retails for £999 (a difference of £261).
The advantage, obviously, is that if you don't have £999 and you qualify that you can take delivery on the machine immediately. The trade off, however, is that you end up paying more. Also note, that "as low as number" assumes you qualify for that rate. Based on your credit score/history and the method that you're used for approval it's possible that your interest rate will be higher and thus you'll have to pay more per month.

  • Macbook pro unable to access websites through browsers

My macbook pro is unable to access websites through web browsers. Chrome & Safari. It is connected to the internet but for some reason I cannot access any webpages. Does anyone know what the cause of this may be and a fix? Thanks!

Solution may be found if you search in the "More Like This" section over in the right column.

  • MacBook Pro won't allow website to use camera

    Hey fellows.
So, I've been trying to use a few different websites, the likes of www.6rounds.com and www.stickam.com, that allow you to video chat with people. Whenever I try to make sure my camera is working, though, it refuses to acknowledge it. I have the macromedia settings set up properly, and I can open photobooth, and immediately the green light opens. As soon as I switch screens, though, it disappears, and even with it open in the background, the camera can never be accessed.
Any help? It would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Elandruss,
Did you reach out to Stickam's support group?
    http://stickam.com/about/faq.do#MAC_Users
Sounds like the software's ability to access the hardware is the point of failure. If the camera works in Photo Booth, it's not an OS X issue.

  • Anyone having issues using their cam in MacBook pro Lion on Flash websites?

When going on websites that try to turn on your webcam using Flash, the dialog box that pops up asking for permission is not "clickable."  The solution of going into Flash preferences and granting permission site-by-site to always allow access to your cam is great until you try to take permission away.  Then you can't click the dialog box again.  Is there going to be a real fix for this, or is it another salvo in the Apple vs. Adobe wars?

    Same problem here.  Solutions, anyone?

  • My Macbook Pro has trouble loading websites in Safari and Firefox.  I have already erased history. Why can this be? And what can I do about it?

I have been having trouble.  Some websites I have accessed before are not loading correctly.  Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't load. Sometimes they load, but you only see a list of links.  I am somewhat confused because I have never had any problems with my Macs before.  Why could this be? What can I do about it?
    Thank you.

  • I replaced my hard drive and lost iPhoto. Is there a way to retrieve?  I can not find the starter discs that came with my Macbook Pro.

I replaced my hard drive and lost iPhoto. Is there a way to retrieve?  I can not find the starter discs that came with my Macbook Pro.

Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. You can purchase replacement discs from Apple.
Or, you can upgrade to Lion or Mountain Lion:
Upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99.
If you sign into the App Store and try to purchase Mountain Lion but the App Store says your computer is not compatible then you may still be able to upgrade to Lion per the following information.
    A. Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.
    B. Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.

  • Lieferzeit für MacBook Pro

    Hallo zusammen,
Keine sehr tolle Hilfe.
