It shows white border on all sides of document after publishing

I am facing some problems with publishing of flash file. After publishing at HTMl; it shows white border at all sides of document.
My document size is Width :- 1280 Height : 650. It is adding border on all sides border at top and bottom are greater than that of Left and Right.
I have tried it many ways, altered my flash setting as well but no use. I am really stumped due to this.
To my surprise at SWF file it showing perfect match and fit exactly into window (not showing any borders like HTML)
I dont know exactly from where it is getting white borders.
My Publish Setting Are as follows
Flash :-
Version : Flash Player 9
Load Order : Bottom Up
ActionScript Version : ActionScript 2.0
HTML :-
Template : Flash Only
Dimenssion: Match Movie
Quality :- High
Window Mode : Window
HTML Alignment : Default
Scale : Exact Fit
Alignment : horizontal :- Left, Vertical : Top
Any help would be greatly appreciated

There is no margin or not any CSS code at my HTML file.
Here is code

  • Delete white border around all 4 sides of Page

I have a Page, that inludes two images, and few text boxes, solid background color of light gray. Nothing very complicated.  Everything looks fine, as I look at the Page on my computer screen. There is no white border. However, when I print a copy of this Page,  it has a white 1/16" border, on all 4 sides of paper. I checked Inspector, but do not see anything that would account for this weird white border. Hope you can help.

    1. you would see a grey border at the edge where the printer can't print.
In the page setup you should look att the predefined paper sizes for borderless options. If you have a Photosmart there should be a bordeless option. Might be called something else.

  • White border on one side of prints

No matter what I do, I cannot prevent my 7525 printer from printing a white border on only one side of a photo.  It is always on the right hand side of the print.  I have changed all the settings.  Nothing seems to help.  Has anyone seen this?

    Hi,
Please use the following software to print, it shows WYSIWYG:

Look as if you're having a GPU glitch. If I were you, I'd take the computer into your local Apple Store and run extensive diagnostics on it. You can do a basic hardware check yourself, using the Apple Hardware Test.
    Good luck,

  • SWF/FLV files show white/black bars on sides of frame

I have a recurring issue of bars showing up on the left and right side of my swf/flv frames.  The good news is the video plays on our site.  The bad news is the bars show up on some of the flash files (like on testimonials.html) and not on others (like wedding.html), even though I perceive I'm copying in the same code.

    Hi
1st. I like many other will not download a zip file, can you post a link to the site?
It may be if you are using the same code but only changing the swf/flv file name, that the swf/flv's are smaller than the size specified in your object code - width="600" height="366".
If the swf/flv's size is smaller then the player will be the size specified, but your swf/flv will be centralized inside the player, (unless otherwise specified) resulting in the white/black bars.

  • Printing the test photo.....1/2 inch white border on right side.

Even after re-installing Photosmart C4780 printer in Win 7. I used to be able to print 4x6 fine but now this border problem.  I don't want to change the paper type.....shouldn't have to.

What printer model?  Some printers require the use of "tabbed" photo paper that has a 0.5" removable tab.  These printers are not capable of printing full 4 sided borderless, they print three sides borderless and then the tab is removed after printing resulting in a full borderless print.

  • White border in pdf preview of bleed doc

    Hi,
As the attached image shows I get a thin white border on my pdf preview of a document that has a 3mm bleed. I have tried to increase the bleed to 5mm but with same result. I've also tried to exceed the black background outside the bleed marks in InDesign - no result. The pdf is exported with document is generated I'm stuck. Why do I get this annoying thin white border when previewing the pdf document? The people I'm sending this to thinks its something wrong and even if this should turn out to be in preview mode only its ruining my work as everyone else is asking about it when looking at the pdf. Use Document Bleed settings is ticked.

You mentioned trying to increase the bleed areas by dragging the black box larger, but are you actually specifying the larger bleed when exporting the PDF
Also, you mention Bleed Marks rather than Crop Marks.
Crop marks show where the page will be trimmed and this is what the printer needs to see.
Bleed marks are essentially useless. they only show the edge of the bleed, but give NO indication where the printer should trim to
Your black screenshots are hard to decipher, but the Magenta box in your 2nd screenshot only shows the margins on the inside of the page.
Unless you have set the margins to 0, the magenta margin box will always be smaller that the page (the final trim size which is what the Crop marks are for)
Have you accidently set a Slug area larger than the bleed? This is only way I can get the white space to show.
The example below used greatly exaggerated settings to better show some issues.I greatly increased the bleed area to swallow the Crop marks and then included the Slug area to show the white.(slugs are not always used or even needed)
The Magenta box are the margins inside the page.
The Red box is the bleed area.
The Crop marks in between these two are what the printer need to cut on to produce the final page size.
Click on the image below to see a larger version with more detail.
P,S, you mentioned about not being able to print the bleeds. If you have bleeds and crops that will make the final PDF size larger than your desktop printer can print, just select FIT or REDUCE OVERSIZE PAGE in the print dialog and it will print on your printer. Of course it will not be to 100 scale, but it will show all the elements in the PDF.

  • How do I get rid of the white border that prints on my pictures?

    Lightroom 2 - Windows 7 64-bit - Nikon D700
I have just downloaded my Lightroom software to my new computer which runs Windows 7.  I had lightroom on my old Vista computer and just had to change the border size to remove it from my pictures, however, for some reason it will not let me remove it anymore.  When I try to adjust the border size it states it cannot be smaller than .2.  Therefore, I have a white border around all my pictures I am printing.  HELP!  How do I get rid of this border.  Thank you so much for the help.

Make sure you select a borderless papersize in the page setup. That will allow Lightroom to set the margins to zero. Otherwise it sets it to the minumum value the printer tells Lightroom it can print at at the current print size. Your printer and driver need to support borderless printing for this to work.

  • White border in Targa alpha layers - why?!

    Hello!
I'm in the process of building a game with the Unity engine, and I'm using Photoshop to create the textures. Many of these textures are being applied to flat single-polygon planes with a transparency, in the form of 32-bit Targas with alpha layers.
The problem I have is that pretty much all of these textures are displaying a pixel-thin white border around the edges of the polygon plane (or around the edges of the texture - they're one and the same). It's as if I've added a pixel-thin white border to all the alpha layers, but I've done no such thing. When I go back and look at the saved Targas, there is no border there.
I had assumed that this issue was being caused by Unity, but I've been recieving a great deal of help and feedback about this on the Unity forums (some of it from one of the software developers), and we've pretty much exhausted all the possibilities at their end. This leads me to suspect that the issue might somehow be caused by Photoshop.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas regarding why this is happening, I would be extremely grateful.
    Thanks!

Are you resizing the images in Photoshop?  Resizing a layer will cause some creep of transparency into the edge pixels, as Photoshop considers the virtual pixels outside an image layer to be transparent.
I'm betting your TGA images are slightly transparent around the edges because of this.
One workaround is to define image data to be a little bigger than what you need, do all your work, then crop to the exact pixel size you need at the last.

  • Suddenly all my thumbnails got a white border. How do I change that?

I have always used thumbnails of the different eBook covers I design, to see how they work in a small size. All the alias' of all the eBook I've designed is on my desktop, so I can compare them. Suddenly the new pictures I store either get no thumbnail at all(alias') or they get this annoying white border around them(originals), all the old one's are still perfect without border. Now I can't compare the new one's with the others, because the white border makes the picture in the thumbnail smaller. And yes I have clicked "Show icon preview" in view options and it doesn't matter where I save them(folders or desktop) or where they came from(Photoshop, preview, iPhoto or directly from my camera) it happens to all picture thumbnails. This new white border is on jpeg, png, tiff and pdf. Actually the white border is a bit smaller on the pdf thumbnail, but the same on the rest.
Hope someone have found a way out of this?

Firefox only has the basic setting for the default action to divert the action to a new tab or window or current tab, so if that behavior has changed then it is likely that an extension has caused this.
    See:
    *1: current tab; 2:new window; 3:new tab;
For links opened via JavaScript you can look at this pref:
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

  • Thin white border showing

Hi all, when I have a document filling the screen (i.e. click ctrl+0) there is a thin white border surronding the image (see attachment). This does not show at any other magnification. Not happened in any other PS iteration (long word!) Can anyone tell me, what might it be and can it be gotten rid of? Would it be a graphics card issue?
thanks for any help you can offer.
    Phil

I think it is a display problem not in the file itself. Any saved image I load displays with the thin white border but only at that particular size (which can also be achieved by double clicking on the hand symbol in the toolbox. At any other size the border disappears. The border does not display at any size with CS5 on the same files.

  • White border showing on right

    Hi,
I've loading the site here http://www.bulls-eyegraphics.com/
My problem is the pages are cutting off the grey background on the right side and displaying a big white vertical line instead.
(it temporarily rendered correctly, after I added <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> - but then it went back to showing the white border on the right....?)
I normally work in print design, I laid out the site in photoshopCS3, sliced in image ready CS2 and took into dreamweaver as an entire site.
(Nancy suggested a better way of going about the building of the site, (which I may use to re-do the entire site - but for now, I would just like to correct this problem of the white border...)
    thanks,
    Francine

I can get around html but still figuring out css....

    Dear Community,
I have created a .pdf file from an email and then "boxed" sections of the document with a white border and a white fill, intending the recipient to be unable to see the text within the "box". However, when I print the document it appears as if the "boxed" sections did not exist. In other words, all the text in the email is printed. Can anyone help with a solution, please.
