It was working until I need to change password

Now when I set my TV to the Hdmi for the Apple TV that I have been using it is just a blank screen. It was working until I changed my password a few days ago on icloud. Now what? Just bought a new series and was ready to watch.

Have you unpowered it and restarted (or hold menu and down keys together for 6 secs on remote).

Thank you, I've tried the support tips (resetting the network, checking security settings, etc.) and rebooting the network devices several times to no avail. I've actually been working on this for several days (when I can afford to have the network down).
What I have to determine is what has changed in the setup...from when it WAS working just fine with all devices.

Number of days before user needs to change password

If I enter a value for "Number of days before user needs to change password" will that effect both user and supervisor accounts or just user accounts? I have a supervisor account that we use for a lot of processes and do not want it to expire. However, our corporate security policy is to have user passwords expire at least every 90 days. mburkett, Version 7.X has the external authentication option. The integration with active directory is very easy and can be configured in a few minutes. However, if your Essbase user names are different than MSAD user names, you would have to replace all Essbase users with their domain ID in order to use external authentication. If the user names are the same, it is only a matter of changing the flag to use the external AD password, rather then the Essbase password. If you are not using Hyperion HUB, you should install it prior to implementing External Authentication. I don't know the details of your custom job scheduler, but if it is based on ESSCMD, I dont see why it would not continue to work with an upgraded version. Good Luck, Chris

Removing the need to change password

This is related to [Pass language parameter to MSA;
Because we are looking to pass username and a set password with the mobileclient.exe we would like to remove the need to change password every x days
Is there a database entry that we can change or settings in MSY that will prevent it from triggering the password change?

Hello James,
You can change the Password parameter using MSY.
1> Login to MSY -> Cross-Component Settings -> Password Paramter.
2> Select the Password Parameter "pass_exp_time" -> Parameter Value to 0.
3> Save
Hope this will resolve your query. This disable the need to change the password.

WiFi 3G IPad 2 not recognizing WiFi and only recognizing 3G. Have only had the device 4 days and was working until today. Now will not recognize WiFi and will only run on 3G.

Received new IPad 2 4 days a ago. Set-up WiFi on home network and 3G on At&T service all has been working until today. I turned 3G off Thursday so that WiFi was the primary source. Yesterday went to a friends house and IPad recognized WiFi and was able to use. Today not able to use WiFi at home only 3G. WiFi is working on my laptop so that is not the issue. Is there something that I am missing?

WiFi is on, but system is not recognizing it. I am not fimiliar with Ask feature, what is this? I have noticed from other posts that my WiFi indicator in the top left is grayed out. I have tried restore settings that some people have recommended. Sounds like alot of people are having problems with the newest launch of the IPad 2. Menu was working until HTML Panel Widget was added

My Horizontal Menu was working fine. Then I decided to add the HTML Panel widget to change some HTML content based on the Menu Item choosen.
The HTML Panel widget actually works but the menus no longer drop down.
Am running CS3
If I take out the <script src="SpryAssets/htmlpanel/SpryHTMLPanel.js" language="javascript" type="text/javascript"> from the head the menus drop down as they should. Putting the one line back in and the menus stop working.

The menu items don't work right now but if I remove the first line under the head tag

Then the menu drop downs will work once again. I tried your suggestion evalScript:true, that didn't seem to do anything.
The HTML panel does work. I put an anchor at the top level of the menu just to see if the main content would change and it does.

Mac mini gives start-up chimes, fans run, etc, but display says "no signal" was working until this randomly happened?

So, I bought a Mac mini the other day- an "open box" item from Best Buy (Mid 2011, i5 processor, 2GB of RAM running 10.8)
Anyhow, it was working fine all day, i had transfered all my itunes library over to the new Mac mini from my MacBook Pro, and put the programs I wanted onto the mac mini. (Including plug-ins etc.) It was working fine, even with 2GB of RAM.
Anyhow, it started to get kind of sluggish, so, I closed all the programs (I assumed this was because it has 2GB of RAM, and I had been pushing it pretty hard all day), and checkd "About this MAC" Low and behold, it said only one RAM card was in, and it was a 1GB card. Well, that explains the eventual sluggishness. Further though, I think it means that once of the RAM slots is messed up.
Problem A) One of the RAM slots/cards is not working properly.
Problem A.5) I actually have two 2GB sticks of RAM that I pulled out of my 2011 MBP which will work, so, my plan is to upgrade to that RAM once I get the RAM card/slot information squared away.
When I opened up the case to try to switch cards, or address Problem A.5), I noticed that one of the clips for the Mac Mini's RAM was broken. Perhaps this is why one of the RAM cards was not being read?
Problem B) One of the clips that holds the top RAM card in place is broken.
After I had seen this, (I didn't actually do anything to the RAM, since I know Apple doesn't cover anything if you broke it, so I want to be able to say that I actually didn't touch anything- my guess is the people at Best Buy may have broken it?) I reconnected the Mac Mini, and was going to get the email and calendar set up, as that was all that was left to get set up. Oops.
After reconnecting, restarting, everything a few times, the same problem presented itself.
Problem C) even checking all connections, thoroughly, etc, the Mac Mini chimes on, fans start whirring, etc, but the display reads "no signal." Tried reconnecting the display, disconnecting, etc, nothing worked. I knoe the display works because I hooked it up to my MBP and it worked fine.
So, I've got a few issues going on, and an appointment at the Apple Store in Providence, RI today at 7:45 PM.
But, does anyone know anything about any of these issues? So I may be able to try to tackle some of them on my own before going in? Or, what to expect from the Apple store?

My guess is since it was Open Box, somebody bought it, broke it trying to replace RAM, then returned it as they no longer wanted it.
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), if that doesn't work, try a Verbose boot, CMD+v
But the new Mini's use RAM as VRAM, so I think it's the RAM/slot issue

also, you will not just change passwords from the windows account manager hopefully.

Help needed - about change password page

I had created a change password page and successfully connected to the access database via jdbc-odbc bridge. But, there are still some errors with the coding.
The situation is like that: whether the NewPassword==ConfirmPassword or NewPassword!=CofirmPassword or both blank, there will always pop up a message dialog "The confirm password and new password must be same."(which I wrote in JOptionPane) and will not update the database that i had linked. I try to correct it but fail.
Can somebody help me to correct the code below?

Any password for an internet site is managed by this site's system. Your device only provides an access to this site.
So if you change password from any device, you'll have to provide your new password for this site, whatever device you use for connection.
