Item Deletion from WebTools Database.
Hi,
Some ItemCodes has been changed in SAP B1. But, in WebTools DB the old ItemCodes exists and now they are creating SynchError as they are not able to find the corresponding ItemCodes in SAP B1.
Please let us know what is the easiest way to have these ItemCodes deleted from the WebTools DB. We have almost 100 such ItemCodes in the WebTools DB. Deleting one item at a time from WebTools will be difficult any other way or ways?
Thanks and Regards,
Kafil Shumon.
You could search for the items in My Account>Administration>Catalog-->Parts and perform a bulk delete based upon the search results. If you get fancy with the search queries, and if your items are related in a particular way, you might be able to do this in a few short queries.
If your items are not correlated in any obvious fashion, and you know you no longer need them, but you have them in a list, you could manually correlate them in a fashion that the admin item search query could understand. For example, if I had a list of items that I wanted to delete, but they were all different, I could pick a distinct Area for them - say, 8001 - and do a SQL UPDATE query to set the Area of each item in my list to 8001. After that, it's as simple as querying the items that all have Area equal to 8001 and under Bulk Operations using the Delete button.
Other than that, a SQL DELETE would take out the necessary records, though you'd have to hit all of the related records, which would be a pain. I think the bulk operation is your best option.

Archive Deleted from primary database
Dear Experts
I have configured physical standby database on oracle 9.2.0.1
an archive has been deleted from primary database. and it is not applied on standby database.
How can I synch my standby database with primary database?
please help me out
thanksDo not need configure rman. Try this. This mean is you will get all changes from primary database without logs(archivelogs becuse you loss these) then apply these to stand by.This is a best way.First change SCN from Standby database then do these.
You can get SCN from standby as
select min (checkpoint_change#) from v$datafile_header -
Can workbook owned by another user be deleted from the database
Hello all,
We are wanting to know if a workbook can be deleted from the database by someone other than the owner. We have a user that was once with the organization that created and uploaded several Discoverer reports to the database. However, they are no longer with the organization. If a change needs to be made to one of their reports, we can download a copy and modify it. However, when you upload the report and keep the same name, it creates a copy of the report in the database but now owned being by the new user. When users using Viewer retrieve a list of reports from the database, they are seing two reports with the same name in the listing, but owned by different people. We could always rename the new report. However, we would like to 'clean up' the production database by purging any obsolete or older verision reports regardless of who they are owned by.
Thanks in advance for any inputHi,
Yes we can do this, to the best of my knowledge here is my input: There are two ways to do this
1) a) If that workbook has been shared with your id thne login as you in Discoverer Plus then open workbook and using SAVE AS and save the workbook and it wil save under your id.
b) follow the below command to delete the workbook owned by old user
2 )-->Login as EUL user (ex: EUL10_US) in Discoverer Administrator and export the workbook owned by the owner (no longer exist in the company: abc.workbookname) and save in your local drive
-->Login as new user in Administrator and import the workbook from the local drive
-->using below command delete the workbook owned by old user (*abc.workbookname*) by running at command prompt.
dis51adm.exe /connect eul10_us/xxxxx@DBname /delete /workbook "abc.workbookname" /eul eul10_us /log C:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1\bin\Delete_wb_oatr.log
Now you will have only one copy of the workbook in the database.
hope this helps you.

Hey everyone,
Is there a way to delete an entry from the database and have that have that change shown in the content server?
I am trying to do it but the current method will crash my the indexer in the repo manager.
I have a lot of entries that I want to get rid of and I would like to run a script on the database to do this. Is this even possible?
Thanks!dID = revision-id or document-version-id (unique value for each revision in the system)
dDocName = content-id / document-id (unique value for each document in the system)
where a document is defined as a set of document-versions (revisions).
Edit:
If I understand you correctly you would like to remove all document-versions (revisions) that are not the newest document-version. There are multiple ways of finding the correct revisions, do some test with the queries below (test as in: do the queries and check the results) and see if that matches what you expect, if not try to work from there.
select did from revisions where drevrank > 0; -- revrank 0 is latest revision
select did from revisions where dreleasestate = 'O'; -- releasestate old 'O' is only given when another document-version has been released Note: beware especially of document-versions that are in workflow and/or are not yet released, when you say "newest" do you mean newest released or just the newest, etc.

Hey Team,
We have a single user who when she deletes items from the Inbox they re-appear (in the inbox), if she is running in cached exchange mode. The items do not re-appear in OWA.
She is not experiencing any network connectivity issues
We have rebuilt her MAPI profile including deleting all existing OST files
We have removed and reinstalled outlook / office 2013
She is the only user with the issue
There are no Sync issues
As soon as we disable cached exchange mode this issue immediately goes away, she is running Office 2013 RTM.
Any Ideas,
Thanks,
Robert
RobertHi Robert,
If change another PC to configure her mailbox within outlook 2013, is there the same issue?
In addition, you can try to move her mailbox to another database and check if any helps.

Dear ALL,
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW TO GET THE LIST OF DELETED ITEMS FROM COGI.I AM UNABLE TO FIND IN AFFWPRO.
R SEHGALRakesh,
When a COGI entry is deleted, corresponding "Goods Movement" entry is deleted.
Standard SAP does not log the Manually deleted entries of COGI.
<b>If this log is required have a look at the SAP Note:309050, after implementation of the note</b>. You can find the entries in AFFWPRO table with a update indicator as 'D'.
I will not recommend this as every entry in the COGI will get logged to this table requiring enormus database space. Even if it cleared through background processing the entries will exist in this table with update indicator as U.

Edited by: saparvind on Nov 5, 2009 5:30 PMHi ,
i want to change the item price after billing , account document is created .
what can i do for it ?
Once the Billing document and corresponding Accounting document created, then you have to cancel the BILLING DOCUMENT to change the Price.
To change the Price , If it is Manual price directly you can change in the Billing document.
If the Price is coming from the CONDITION RECORDS then you have to UPDATE the pricing to the CARRY OUT NEW PRICING in the Billing documents, with Option B
i want to delete line item from sales order after PGI
like after delivery customer want to change the goods .
For this you have to reverse the PGI in the Transaction code VL09 and then cancel the DELIVERY in VL02N---Delete.
Now you can change the Goods in the Sales document in VA02.
Please check the above and revert.

Once meetings are deleted in Outlook they are for some reason still shown as active in my blackberry. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve it?
Do i need to resynch them?
HELP!From what I remember, for them to be removed from the blackberry, they have to be in the deleted items folder while the phone reconciles, but I might be mistaken.
If you try creating a test calendar item, let the BB pick it up, delete it from outlook leaving the item in the deleted items folder and wait for the phone to reconcile again (or force reconcile now). -
PSE 8 - Restore selected items deleted from catalog
With folder locations selected I had replecated a number of folders as Albums in My Catalog. Not being satisfied I deleted these from the catalog and they no longer are visible under their original folder location within Organizer Display. I wish to restore these but they do not appear in the Recycle bin. In Windows Explorer they are still accessible in their original folders. How do I restore these to the folder locations in Organizer's display?
Two other minor issues.
1) A black box with 'Who's this' in white letters randomly appears over a face in a photo. Can I turn this off?
2) When in Display folder view a 'no go' sign appears in red with a white line drawn through it. Obviously finger trouble on my part but how do I switch it off?
Any help would be most appreciated.

Prevent Item Deletion From an Approved SC
We are on SRM 2.0/EBP 3.5 and I am fairly new in the SRM area.
I was able to prevent changes by requestor to SC while in approval by implementing BBP_WFL_SECUR_BADI. However this does not work once SC is approved.
In the thread Re: SC can be edited after Approval....., Yann Bouillut mentioned the following:
<b><i>If you do not want this behavior, you have to forbid in SRM Transaction PFCG.
In the single role for your user, uncheck the "delete" activity.</i></b>
Can someone let me know how and where exactly the above needs to be performed?

Delete items unchecked from a form
I have a list from query that populate checkboxes (checked) in a form.
However, when a user deselects some of the items from, I want them to be deleted from the database for that user.
Here is the ex: this is how the form looks like:
Category
Item 80 626
1. HS # 1 (87) chk chk
2. HS #2 (59) chk chk
This is the list of items already n their preferences (db ids)
80|87, 626|87, 80|59, 626|59
Now from a form, if they deselect one of the items (80|87), I want it to be deleted from the database.
Like these, DELETE FROM ITEMS_TBL WHERE ITEM_ID = 80, Category_ID = 87
How can we do it? Can we check ListContains or something else?Let's say your query contained 5 records, ID's 1-5. When output, the user unselects ID 2 and 5. When they submit the form, you want to delete IDs 2 and 5 right? But since they are not selected, their IDs are not available in the FORM scope, correct?
What I would do is run the same query on submit, but add an addendum that uses a ValueList() on the FORM variable that holds the selected IDs. Like:
SELECT
ids,
WHERE ids NOT IN (#FORM.ids#)
That would basically get you back a query of record IDs that are up for deletion. Then you could run another query right after it that goes:
DELETE FROM tableName
WHERE IDs in (#ValueList( firstQueryName.ids )#) -
Dynamic record deletion from database table
Hi,
I need to delete selected records from database table(dynamic names). Table names are being passed from main program with some of their field names. The record to be deleted from the database table is being decided based on the fields passed for the table and their contains passed from the main program.
It is not possible to write dynamic where clause for DELETE statement directly.
So, I created a dynamic internal table and i am trying to fetch all records using SELECT statement(for which we can write dynamic where condition, something like...SELECT...WHERE (itab). ) which need to be deleted in the iternal table.
Piece of code :
CONCATENATE c_im v_tablefield1 INTO v_imprtfield1.
CONCATENATE v_tablefield1 c_in v_imprtfield1
into s_condition separated by space.
APPEND s_condition TO t_condition.
PERFORM GET_DYNAMIC_ITAB USING s_flds_agtab-tabname
changing t_itab.
ASSIGN t_itab->* TO <itab>.
*Select the data (to be deleted) from the database table
SELECT * FROM (s_flds_agtab-tabname) INTO TABLE <itab>
WHERE (t_condition).
*Delete the records from the table
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
DELETE (s_flds_agtab-tabname) FROM TABLE <itab>.
ENDIF.
Here t_condition is of standard table of WHERETXT.
t_condition at the run time before giving dump was:
SPART IN IM_SPART
AND KUNNR IN IM_KUNNR
Here IM_SPART is renge type of SPART and IM_KUNNR is renge of KUNNR.
I am getting a DUMP:
The WHERE condition has an unexpected format.
Error analysis
The current ABAP/4 program attempted to execute an ABAP/4 Open SQL
statement containing a WHERE condition of the form WHERE (itab) or
WHERE ... AND (itab). The part of the WHERE condition specified at
runtime in the internal table itab contains the operator
IN (v1, ..., vn)
in incomplete form.
How to correct the error
If the error occurred in a non-modified SAP program, you may be
able to find a solution in the SAP note system.
If you have access to the note system yourself, use the following
search criteria:
"SAPSQL_IN_ILLEGAL_LIST"
"SAPLZSD_TAB_REFRESH " or "LZSD_TAB_REFRESHU01 "
"Z_SD_REFRESH_AGTABLES"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the
following documents to SAP:
I would like to know whether "IN" operator is allowed in (itab) of WHERE clause. While testing I changed the "IN" to "=" specifying a suitable value there. It worked. So please let me know if i can give "IN" operator using renge table in the dynamic where clause.
Thanking you,
SuryaHi again, so if you can not use the IN in a dynamic where clause you might be forced to dynamically build the entire select statement, Here is a sample program which may give you some ideas, notice that we are writing the select statement code, putting it in another program and generating the subroutine at runtime, then call this routine. I'm sure that this will help you see what you need to do.
