Item text (BSEG-SGTXT) is not getting updated in Payment document generated

Hi All,
Item text (BSEG-SGTXT) is not getting updated in Payment document generated through F110.
After generating the payment document via Transaction Code u2013 F110, system is not updating the
Text field (BSEG-SGTXT) in the payment document with the text that we have entered in the Invoice (MIRO or FI Invoice).
In case of manual payment (F-53) we can input the text manually hence that will get updated in
payment document but this thing is not possible with F110.
How can I update it?
Is there any configuration for that?

Hi All,
I've applied the two notes as recommended. However, when I run FBL3N for payment run items, the Text field is update with wrong data, i.e. not from the Text field in FB60
Thus, I'll like someone to help me with what should exactly be done on the 'Step', 'Pre-requisite' and 'Substitution' side of the Substitution rule (TCode GGB1), I did not fill anything in the Pre-requisite box - is this right?

    While processing the document via transaction code u2013 F110, in the layout shown for the Invoices to be considered for payment (screen of u201CEdit Proposalu201D), text is not getting updated. When we pressed F1 at the Text field (Which is blank) we came to know that it is a u201CItem Textu201D with u201CTable u2013 REGUEu201D /  u201CField u2013 SGTXTu201D.
    In BSEG (SGTXT field) as well as BSIK (SGTXT field) we are getting the Invoice document with the text maintained in it via MIRO or FI invoice.
    But while processing the invoices through Tcode - F110, in the layout of Edit Proposal (Table - REGUE / Field - SGTXT) we are not getting the u201CText fieldu201D but getting the other data such as Doc. No.( Table - REGUE / Field - BELNR), Fiscal Year (Table - REGUE / Field - GJAHR) etc for processing the proposal which is getting shown in BSEG as well as BSIK.
    In case of manual payment (F-53) we can input the text manually hence that will get updated in payment document but this thing is not possible with F110.
    Can anybody guide me on getting the ItemText (Not Doc. Header text) in FI payment document after F110 execution?

    Thanks for the prompt reply. We will be obliged if you guide us in that respect since F110 is a Std. SAP code.
    Have you refer OSS before arriving at the conclusion of developing ABAP program since the Item Text is a std. field of Std. Tcode - F110. Same should had been get updated while making the payment in reference to the Invoice which haves item text in it ?

  • Enhancement for VL02N to update the item text(BSEG-SGTXT) during PGI

    Hello all,
    Actually, I need your help experts. I am trying to update the item text(BSEG-SGTXT) for accounting documents with the sales order number during their creation(post goods issue) from transaction VL02N, VL01N, VL09.
    I have checked the 17 exits available for these transactions and non of these 17 exits allow me to modify the item text(BSEG-SGTXT). I am currently investigating on the two badi's available for these transactions.
    I am not sure if it possible to make these modifications via Badi's.
    Does anyone have any idea or technique that can help me to find a way to modify/update the item text(BSEG-SGTXT) for any accounting document generated during post goods issue using transaction VL02N, VL01N, VL09?

  • Quantity field not getting update in PCA document for Goods Receipt

    We have the Purchase Account activated for our company code.
    For movement type 101 (Goods Receipt), I am getting the quantity field updated for GR/IR account and Stock Account (B/S item).
    But the quantity field is not getting updated for the "Purchase Account" and the "other offsetting PL A/C).
    Please advice whether I am missing something.

    Check SAP notes  1063198 and 1117587.
    FAGLL03 display quantity which is updated in FAGLFLEXA, BSEG is not
    relevant in this case. This is clearly explained in the note 1063198.
    The quantity posts through to FI on the 'goods receipt' items, but not on the
    'invoice receipt' items.
    In the FI normally the Quantity is not a 'real' important field, as it
    is more related to the MM area.
    But in the old 'Profit Center Accounting' and the old' Special Ledger'
    the field has been important.
    As the same logic of these areas to 'store' the Quantity is also used
    in the NewG/L the field get only filled in the line, where it make
    'sense' from our point of view, because only in the 'goods receipt'
    lines a 'real' Quantity is posted to the system.
    So as before in the PCA and SL, now also in the NewG/L the Quantity is
    filled in the correct and important lines and postings.
    In the BSEG ('old document segment table') the field is filled 'just'
    as it is send to the FI, but this is not completely correct from the
    business point of view.
    This can also lead to issues with the reporting and summation to this
    field. So with creating the new logic in the NewG/L the 'correct'
    standard of the 'writing' for the Quantity has also been taken over.
    So in the end, the update and display is correct according  SAP standard behavior.
    Actually,Quantities within G/L are never reliable,
    because the purpose of FI is a view on the data according to amount
    but not according to quantity.
    In the FI normally the Quantity is not a 'real' important field, as it
    is more related to the MM area.

    Check in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB if any follown on document available wrt to SC...
    also you can do one thing...open SC in BBP_PD transaction...select line item & check for  Follow-On Document Object ID in Backend in table BBP_PDBEI...
    also meka esute that this document is created  in R/3..if follow on document is available in R/3 then it's a problem with BBP_GET_STATUS_2..
    Let me know ur findings..

    After applying that note it has now updated the clearing document with reference number from its original document. But I want the reference document to flow/updated into the F110 screen -> DME attributes->refrence number. The table it has to get updated is REGUT-RENUM.
    I am not sure if this has to happen as a SAP standard functionality but this is the requirement given to me.

  • Serial number is not getting updated in GR

    Problem: Serial number in not getting updated GR document (in stock) while going GR for production order.
    We are using u201CBAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATEu201D to do production order GR in one development. And we have used serial number profile in which we kept GR as optional. Please fine details of serial number profile as below. We have a restriction that we can not make GR mandatory in serial number profile.
    MMSL     Maintain goods receipt and issue doc.     02     02
    PPAU     Serial numbers in PP order     02     01
    PPRL     PP order release     04     01
    PPSF     Serial nos in repetitive manufacturing     03     01

    As we are passing serial number in BAPI while doing GR but still is not getting updated in GR document. When we check stock in MMBE, it is not showing any serial number.

    Since your MMSL procedure is optional, you cannot carry assignment of Serial Numbers against goods Movement. Though you are passing serial numbers during GR, but Serial Numbers are linked only upto Production Order Level, not upto the Stock. The only option to display the Serial numbers against Stock can be done using MMSL procedure as 3. We also faced the similer situation, whenever ur doing automatic goods movement with MMSL as 02 [Auto GR], One possible solution, is to create a custom program to complete ur GR like using Call Transaction BDC -MB32, not as standard SAP Auto GR, & need to make MMSL as 3...so that both purpose gets served [ Serial number linking to stock & Automatic GR using custom program]
    Please share, if you get any better idea

    I have come across one issue that the value of trading partner field (VBUND) in table GLPCA are not getting updated correctly for document type KP.
    In vendor master this field has different value versus it is showing in GLPCA-VBUND.

    This note is not applicable for our system as we are working on 4.0B with support pack 52.
    Also we are getting this worng update of this field (GLPCA-VBUND) while doing MR11 creating document with doc. type KP. This value is not picking from vendor master (LAF1-VBUND) and randamly picking any value. Not sure from where ?

        I am using incoming idoc DELVRY03 (message type SHPCON) to update delivery document.I am using field E1EDL24-CHARG to pass batch data.
          However batch number is not getting updated in delivery document. I have verified aspects like batch number is valid etc.
         While updating batch number thru incoming idoc, do I need to supply some other data?

    Hi Biswas,
    I think batches are determined automatically in the deliveries while creation and thats the reason it is not getting the batch number in the delivery, if there is no automatic batch dertermination then it will update the valid batch number
    also please check the batch determination procedure and the batch master in MSC2N and availability of materials for that particular batch

  • Delivery Header Text not getting updated using Inbound DELVRY03 IDOC

    I am using inbound iDOC delivery DELVRY03. I am attempting to populate a text field with segment E1TXTH8, but I can not get it to work properly. The iDOC gets posted successfully in status 53, but text does not get updated.
    Does anyone know what the values for field FUNCTION are supposed to be?
    Any other suggestions?

  • Substitute item line text (BSEG-SGTXT)

    Dear all,
    I have some questions here. For example, in tcode FB60, we enter the vendor code, invoice date, amount, tax, etc. When click on simulate, there will be another line item for Tax Input(if we select the tax). One of my requirement is, if user enter any text at the basic data tab (SGTXT), i would like to copy the text (BSEG-SGTXT) to the TAX INPUT text (BSEG-SGTXT), means different line item. When i click save for park documents, the tax input text needs to be saved too. So when i view in tcode FB03, the Tax input text will also have the same value as the vendor line item text. As well as after i post the documents, the Tax Input text should also be there.
    I have tried to use Substitution. When i click Simulate, the value did copy from vendor line item to Tax Input line item text. But after i click save, i check the document, the text at the Tax Input line item is not there.
    In my Prerequisite, i put tcode = FB60. Substitution, i am using BSEG-SGTXT substitute by exit. I have copy the program RGGBS000 to a new program and assign the exit. May i know how can i pass the whole item table instead of checking in structure BSEG in the exit? Because the main point is, the vendor line item and the Tax input line item are different. I want to copy different line item text into different line item text.
    Can anyone guide me into this?

    The current document headers (there will be more than one for cross-company code transactions, for example), the corresponding line items and the recurring entry data for the document header and the one-time account data are transferred to the additional component, for information purposes only. You must not edit this data. Instead, two additional tables (T_BKPFSUB and T_BSEGSUB) and the structure BKDF_SUBST are also transferred. The contents of the fields that can be substituted are entered in these tables. Field TABIX contains a line number which shows from which line in T_BSEG or T_BKPF the field contents originate.

    Make sure the field Business area is not supressed in tx. OB14. for the GL account in line item 001.
    On the other hand, have a look to the note and kba below:

    Line item description is not changed as when you enter the material in order and save, description is saved in table CRMD_ORDERADM_I along with other details. now if you change the material master description it is pretty obvious that CRMD_ORDERADM_I contents will not automatiically change. if you enter the same material again in order as new line item system will read from material master whereas for existing line items will be read from CRMD_ORDERADM_I . you can change the description using FM CRM_ORDERADM_I_MAINTAIN_OW

    Hi,
    The problem could be the currency of the valuation area. It has to be the local currency. Maybe the company code has the local currency but the valuation currency is another.
    Without having access to your system it is difficult to say. Maybe double check your customizing for assignment of update types for derived business transactions in spro:
    Transaction Manager
    -> General Settings
         -> Accounting
             -> Settings for Position Management
                  -> Derived Business Transactions
                      -> Update Types
                          -> Assign Update Types for Derived Business Transactions
