does anyone know if the iTunes 12 Days of Christmas app is out again for 2014 as can't seem to find it anywhere?

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Why weren't you able to download each day's gift ? Whilst the 12 Days app required iOS 7 to be able to install it on a device, each day's gift was available to download direct in the iTunes or App Store apps, or via iTunes on your computer.

I'm a little bit confused right now, so maybe you guys/girls could help me out.
I have an iPod 2nd gen, past year I could download the 12 days of christmas app for my iPod, but now I can't anymore, that's a pity! - Apple, everyone is a user for your products, everyone has paid. Please fix this.
But, for those who haven't a iPod or iPhone, they could download the apps and the music from the Mac App Store, source: MacRumors.com:
'For those without an iOS device, Apple says to come back to iTunes on December 26th to download gifts from your computer. Though the U.S. customers are excluded from this promotion, App Store developers frequently use the holidays to hold sales on their apps. But I don't really understand this. There isn't a app in the Mac App store like this, and 'to come back to iTunes on December 26th' Why? There isn't an app?!

pdroth, Yes, I am aware that only the pilot is free. I did find it and downloaded it but my next question is that when it was done downloading it said "your purchase is complete" This better not have charged me. Did it?

12 days of Christmas app not downloading content

The 12 days of Christmas app not downloading content just hangs. Today's book will not download at all. Have reinstalled both app and iBook with no luck. Can still download from App Store so Internet is ok. Any suggestions?

It seems that if your Settings->General->International->Region Format is not set specifically as Canada you will have this issue. (even if your times zone and iTunes account settings are correct...)
Changing that setting from US to Canada was the fix for me.

12 days of Christmas app

I accidentally deleted,one of the 2 movies that came with the toy story bundle available of the 12 days of Christmas app (which is great by the way). iI tried to redownload the movie but I can't as it tells me it is part of a bundle and I already have part of it.. therefore I tried to delete the other movie so I could redownload the entire bundle again, but I cannot delete this movie from my ipad. I have tried to delete it from the video app and the ipad settings app. even though it appears to have been deleted and no longer shows up in my videos app, when I try to redownload the bundle it keeps telling me the same thing, that I have already purchased part of this bundle and the movie reappears in my video app again. any way I can delete and redownload as it was free today and of no cost to anyone.

Hey, I have a similar issue.
I downloaded the Toy Story bundle and it worked great. I later deleted them from my iPad as I didn't want them taking up space, however a couple of days later when I went to redownload them I can't! The little iCloud button is there but written beside it is 'this can only be purchased as a bundle'.
How do I redownload them from my purchased items??

'10/'11 is the first time when I participate to the 'iTunes 12 Days of Christmas' promotion.
I know that this year the promotion was available on the followings countries: UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Luxembourg and Canada.
I hope that all the countries that were participated, I've post it correctly. Or not?
I guess and I am quite sure that Apple Staff can help me on this.
All I want to know is; a list of names, with each 'Gift' (maybe a link to see it exactly) that was available for each country every day, this year and the first two promotions, form 2008/09 and 2009/10.

12 days of christmas app hanging on my ipad2 (ios 5.0.1)

When i run the 12 days of christmas app it just hangs on my ipad2. I am UK based. Anyone know how to resolve it? I am running IOS 5.0.1

Have you tried closing the app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the 12 Days app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the 12 Days app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

What's with the USA not getting the iTunes 12 Days of Christmas promo?

Today I went to the MacFormat website, and they reported there that Apple will be running a "12 Days of Christmas" promotion, starting Dec. 26, 2011 and going through Jan. 6, 2012. The promotion they mentioned was this year, not 2010 (which was discussed in the Apple Support Communities Discussions in 2010). There is supposed to be an app one can download for the promotion, and there will be a different free item(s?) each of the 12 days that you can download (within that day).
However, when I searched the App Store (as well as the iTunes Store) using my iPod Touch, no sign of such an app from Apple showed in my search results. So, Apple - when will notice of this promotion show up for those in the USA, or why do you appear to be excluding your USA customers from this promotion?
I did an online search, and there is mention of this promotion on the Canadian Apple.Com webpage: www.apple.com/ca/itunes/12days/
So, why are we in the USA being left out by Apple? Ya got me very curious about this one, Apple....

HT201210 Cannot download 12 days of christmas app

I cannot download this years 12 days of Christmas because my gen 1 iPad does not have the latest iOS 7. Why are Apple offering this app which states it is for iPad not doing more to ensure all iPad versions are catered for. It looks like Apple has forgotten about the customers who took the plunge and spent lots of money on the original iPad and made it a worldwide success. Come on Apple treat all iPad users to this app.

Looking at it logically, it's my belief that likely many of the free apps will require iOS 7, thus the 12 Days of Gifts app also requires iOS 7. Sadly, iOS 5.1.1 apps are slowly becoming scarce.

It's possible that the app you downloaded is only compatible with an iOS device. Apps that are compatible with the computer are found in the Mac App Store. They are downloaded to the Applications folder on your computer.

Will 12 days of christmas app be available for 2013

Anyone know if the App for christmas will be out this year.

Apple has not announced anything, so we all just have to wait and see. It has become a bit of a tradition for them to put it up though.
