ITunes error messge, error writing to file?

I have used my iTunes (I think Version 7 - but I can't open it to verify. Right-clicking the desktop shortcut indicates it was last modified / updated on June 5, 2009) for a while now.
Today when I go to open it (both via desktop shortcut and via start-programs-itunes)I get pop-ups that indicate Windows is updating iTunes and then I get an error message: "error writing to file: c:\program files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.resources\en.lproj\iTunesHelperLocalized.dll. Veryify that you have access to that directory."
Ok, I went through the Vista version of My Computer and drilled down all the way to that directory so I can get to it.
I eventually have to cancel out and it shuts down the updating attempt and the opening attempt for iTunes.
Help please!!!

Ok weird. After the issues last night, I turned on the laptop this morning and Windows wanted to do its automatic updating thing that it usually wants to do when you shut down (you know, the "Do not turn off your computer, it will turn off automatically after windows has installed its updates 1 of X").
So, after windows installed whatever updates and rebooted, now iTunes is operating normally again.
FWIW, the iTunes version is v.8.2.0.23

What version of LabVIEW and NI DAQmx are you using? Does this error occur when the program is run from the development PC from the project? Can you create a debuggable executable and activate Highlight execution when the error occurs as to verify which state the program is in?

FTP Adapter errors out while writing a file

Hi ,
I am facing this problem while using FTP adapter tries to write a file on a specific remote machine.The Adapter throws this following error:

internal table to another server using a FM??? Am not
sure if that can be done.
How about trying this way????
Download the data to a file on your application
server, using open dataset statement. Then transfer this
file to the other server using FM's FTP_CONNECT, FTP_COMMAND ....

Problems while writing to file

Hi,
I'm trying to query my test database (mysql) and to write these results to a file, I manage to get the results out of the database, but when I try to write for instance an int to a file, the file replaces the int by a square. What can be wrong?? The file is created successfully and I've writen the int to the standard out before writing it to the file; in the standard out the int is correct.

I would imagine that FileWriter is writing the byte value to the file. Just change your SQL get to this writeToFile(rs.getString(6)); and write it as a String instead of an int.

Well, there's definitely a mac and a Windows version. And you're at the right page. I think the problem is that someone forgot (or decided not to) to update the text at teh bottom of the page to have Mac and Windows.
Just push the button, you'll get the Mac update no problem.

Error writing to file during iTunes 10.6 installation - Help!!

I am trying to update iTunes to 10.6 but I get 'Error writing to file C:\Config.Msi\1b0f1d.rbf. Verify that you have access to that directory' I am presented with the option to 'Retry' or 'Cancel' after choosing retry on multiple occassions the update will not complete. I have a new pc on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit system. I have never had this problem before. Thanks in advance.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

That's the error I get when trying to uninstall or reinstall my itunes. The application no longer works and I just purchased a new Ipod touch 4th generation that requires I uninstall and upgrade to 10.6.

I had this exact same problem just now, trying to upgrade to 10.7.
I even got that error msg when trying to UNINSTALL iTunes!
After hours of frustration trying everyone's different suggestions, I downloaded Revo Uninstaller http://www.cnet.com.au/apps/revo-uninstaller-10610875/ which solved the problem.
Use it to help uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Then you can install iTunes from scratch.
