ITunes Fehler -9810 ?

Seit zwei Wochen tritt der Fehler immer wieder auf, die offiziellen Hilfehinweise bringen keine Änderung und haben keinen Erfolg.
Was kann ich tun. Zumal das iTunes Match Abo läuft...

I'm already signed out. It won't sign in. It times out with a 9810 error when I try to sign in. It times out with the same error if I try to turn Genius on or if I try to turn on iTunes Match.

Itunes Match -9810 error

Hi,
I tried to start Itunes Match a few days now, but I always get the following error:
"We could not complete your ITunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-9810).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
I get it always on step 2 of the match process...
Im based in Austria, anyone else having this problem?

nach dem Update von ITunes kann ich mein IPhone 5 nicht mehr mit ITunes synchronisieren. Immer wieder wird der Vorgang abgebrochen und es erscheint die Fehlermeldung " unbekannter Fehler -50 ".

Itunes fehler beim abrufen der Dateisicherheit

Ich versuche eine neue Version von itunes zu installieren oder versuche die bestehende Version von itunes zu deinstallieren,
bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung: fehler beim abrufen der Dateisicherheit.
dann wird das update von itunes oder die deinstallation abgebrochen..
Hat jemand zufällig eine idee???

TS1424 What is iTunes error -9810?

I'm having the worst iTunes experience EVER and I don't know if it's related to Mountain Lion or not because I did a lot research and there's a lot of people saying it might be the problem but whatever it is, it just ***** the fun right of my iOS, music and computer experience. iTunes Match is just stuck in a loop on step one and two and I usually get error 4001 or 4002... but today I had this new error message. Error -9810
I looked in the "iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting" page and it's not there either.
Anyone has an idea what it means?
BTW, to fix my iTunes Match problem, I tried everything there is to find on the internet. Turning off iTunes match, updating Genius, updating this and that... even played with terminal as mentionned here: iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting

Did you get it resolved? Same issue here. I've tried everything I've read too (except connect to a different network- it's my iMac doing it, which isn't really, you know, portable). I've also been having a slew of other problems since the last update, I should have known better than to re-up my iTunes Match ...

Just in case the component being referenced is not part of iTunes but is rather part of one of the other related programs, it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:

Leider funktioniert bei mir die Anmeldung zum iTunes Store nicht.
Dabei wollte ich Gutscheine von cokedridge.de im iTunes Store einlösen.
Es erscheint immer ein Fenster mit der Aufschrift:
"Ihre Anfrage beim iTunes Store konnte nicht fertiggestellt werden.
Ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten (-9808)."
Wer kann mir bei diesem Problem weiter helfen?

I have the same problem. I'm trying to get my account running, but I have the same message. Makes me mad that I can't get my IPhone up an running because of this. I talked to Apple today and they couldn't help me either.

Would have been nice, if it would have stated WHICH invalid character and where it resides, wouldn't it.
Normally it's caused by damage to the installation database within the .msi for the program (in this case the itunes.msi file).
If we clear away the installation configuration information for iTunes, we should be able to get past it.
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

The Apple Software Update did it again! Or how difficult is an iTunes update

Ok a new iTunes update is out and Apple messed it up again.
I tried on the following System – Windows 7 64 Bit, non-administrative user, with UAC – the iTunes and QuickTime Update. Both failed with the following error (sorry in German on this)
“Produkt: iTunes -- Fehler 1303. Die Rechte von Installer reichen nicht aus, um auf diesen Ordner zuzugreifen: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes. Die Installation kann nicht fortgesetzt werden. Melden Sie sich als Administrator an oder wenden Sie sich an den Systemadministrator“
What to do? QuickTime and iTunes folder are no longer accessible, owner unknown, ownership could not be seized. So it is unclear if everything was deleted or only messed up. Reboot and yes after starting the installation manually again, it successful installs QuickTime and iTunes.
But guys the question is, when you need a reboot under some circumstances, just do it.
The other question, why did you mess up the target folders so badly, that you cannot use them for installation? Many other software makers proof that an update could be done.
Could Apple please fix this strange behavior? I my eyes this update process is not for increase customer satisfaction. Even if iTunes is for free, I think you earn a lot of money with it.

Do you remeber the exact (or close to it) wording of the error message?
Try manually placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then try to restore

ich habe meine PC (Windows 7 64bit) neu installiert und entsprechen auch Itunes neu aufgespielt. Wenn ich eine neue Mediathek erstelle kann ich den Store besuchen. Wenn ich aber meine alte Mediathek die ich vorher gesichert habe, komischweise kann ich nicht auf den Store zugreifen.
