Itunes will open initially upon start up of windows vista, but if closes, it will not open up again. I have backed up all itune media files, i have uninstalled and reinstalled all apple products needed to operate I tunes according to apple, any suggestions of help would be appreciated. Thank you! 1. Check to see if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
2. Go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.
Restart Windows.
3. Rename file "APSDaemon.exe' into "APSDaemon1.exe" from this location:
32bit Windows C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\
64bit Windows C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\
(Take note that this is a temporary fix which will also disable the capability of WIFI SYNC)

However, I have not opened it and it doesn't show anywhere on my computer that it is open. The error message tells me that I must restart my computer which I have to do to get past this point. You perhaps can install Audigy 2 drivers and software to your card. Here are the instructions how to do it.
It's quite easy process. Download Audigy driver/software package (~20MB) (link is there), extract it into some directory. Download the patch (link is on Automatic Method sentence)and follow instructions how to patch the instalation package. Then installation process. I've modded my Audigy 2 to Audigy 2 Zs using a similiar method and everyting else, but GraphicMixer, works great.

iTunes no longer works on my Windows VISTA system. Get error msg saying an application is attempting to access C runtime library incorrectly... Error 7, Windows error 1114. Same msg, or one that says unable to install, when trying to update or reinstall iTunes. iTunes worked well up until about a month ago when this error msg starting appearing.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I have downloaded itune 10.5.2 .11but could not complete installation on my window Vista PC, telling me that it can not be completed because a programme needed can not be run and to check for solution by contacting installation package vender. 1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Firefox hangs upon startup, or starts a process but doesn't open the browser.

Within the last couple days, Firefox has had a lot of problems.
When I open it, the window hangs and freezes after a few seconds, if it opens at all. Other times, trying to open Firefox simply won't open the window, but will leave an extra process running in the background that I have to manually shut down via Task Manager.
I have made a fresh profile. I have restarted Firefox. I previously had hardware acceleration checked, and disabled it; still having the same problem. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox multiple times. I have run a scan of my system with Malwarebytes; nothing detected. It's not even generating a crash log. I have looked through the support forums, found people with problems similar to mine, but no solutions posted for them since sometime last month.
Firefox seems to run normally if do an install of version 21, which opens up the browser window. Everything works fine, until I close the browser and then re-open it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
