Iv rented a film although it didnt load properly, i tried to re download it although nothing happened it just took my money
Iv just tried to rent this film and when it finished downloading i went to play it although it wouldn't play properly, as i tried to play it again it just shutdown my video tab and went to the home screen. I went back onto the video tab to find my film i rented,gone. it told me before i played it i had 2 days before it expired therefore, i had one day left. I went onto the iTunes store and tried to find the download tab (as instructed) although nothing was there. I went back onto the purchased tab in the iTunes store and it had no record of me renting this film.
So i decided to re-download it hoping it wouldn't cost again as i had already purchase it. (Because i have purchased an app before when i went to re-purchase it, it told me id already purchased it and obviously wouldn't have to pay again. Therefore, i thought this also applied for buying/renting films) obviously not, it had taken the money from my iTunes account and it told me to go to the download tab as i had already purchased this. Although there was still no tab. I went to buy something random which would be free, in order to get the download tap to re- appear. And when it did there wasn't any mention or anything of the film.Therefore i had paid twice for a film i hadn't watched. I then decided to download another film which turned out to be free. That had downloaded successfully although when i went to play it, there was some fault and it wont load. Could you please help me get either my money back or the film that i had purchase TWICE! Thank-you! :)
It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

ATried to open Firefox browser to read mail but it wouldnt open. An error message indicated something about version 12 and version 11 issues so I uninstalled Firefox and used Explorer to download a fresh copy. Wouldnt install.

I ran the System File Checker and it told me there are corrupt files that could not be repaired. I dont understand all the info that I read on the CBS.log, but from what I gather from the link you provided I'll be doing a reformat today. :(
What puzzles me is the fact that all was well when I shut down my computer but by morning there were corrupt files????? Strange no virus, no malware so what on earth happened? The million dollar question.:)

In app store i click on buy. The loading symbols come up for a few swconds, then nothing happens. I can get in to ibooks but can,t get any new books to display as choices,
I guess, putting it in recovery mode and restoring it "as new phone" is your only chance if you can make it. Restoring from a backup may copy corrupt files back to your phone, causing this problem.

I Rented the film inhale on my iPad a few nights ago, this is not the first time I've rented from I turnes, I've don't it many times before and never had any problems. This time I cannot get the film to load. Every time I try to play the video it comes up with a message saying 'cannot load video' as soon as I reach around 15 minutes of the movi. and then shuts the video down. I'm annoyed because having got 15 minutes in my film will now expire in 48 hours even though I can't actually watch it. I'd like to see it tonight if anybody can help please, thanks.

I have rented a film on apple tv but I can't get it to play.
I have rented the film on Apple TV however when I click play I keep getting the same error message - An error occurred loading this content. Try again later.
We can watch the trailers, you tube etc but the rented movie won't play.Sometimes a complete restart can help, (unplug, wait a few moments and restart), however the error you get can be caused by extremely slow download speeds. Check your download speed at speednet.com and report back.

I've just rented a film in iTunes on my macpro. I've synced my ipad2 to macpro, but the film is not on my iPad? I thought with the cloud it would automatically be on both devices!!!!
You can only have a rented movie on one device at a time. And you "Move" a rental movie to the iPad - you do not sync it. There is a difference.

When watching my Apple TV (3rd gen) the picture jumps a few frames every few seconds, this happens when I rent a film or play back from my new Mac Pro, my Wifi is the Airport Express.
These may be different issues, but lets look at rentals first.
Poor motion can result from mismatched output. If your source is 24 or 30 fps you should set the output of the Apple TV to 60 Hz, for 25 fps content use 50 Hz.
Additionally motion software on the TV itself can cause the picture to jump, check your TV settings and turn off any motion settings in use, -
