  • Internal Order - control data tab

i have an io that has cost center as statistical .  so anything that posts, is first posting to the IO and 2nd posting statistically to the cost center.  If i want to change the cost center, i can do that on the assignment tab BUT that cost center doesnt update the control data tab--which is where the stat posting goes.
is this something that can be changed or does a new IO need to be created?
    thanks!

    Hi
To change the cost center in the control tab of internal order master apply OSS Note 198036.Note that the cost center given here have the real postings and the internal order have the statistical postings.

  • Hide XD02 Screen field Tax Number1 in control data tab

    Hello,
I want to hide field Tax number 1 from the XD01/2/3 - control data tab, based on authorized / unauthorized user check.
Please let me know the screen exit for that or how to hide it ?
    Thank you,

    Hi,
I think that you will need to use the enhancement point mf02dfd0_01 spots es_mf02dfd0 in INCLUDE MF02DFD0. An enhancement at this point will allow you to loop through the screen fields and set the Tax Number 1 field not active in the PBO stage of the screen. I didn't see a user exit that would allow you to do the same.

  • Production order control data tab

    Hi,
Is there any chance the costing data under control data tab in production order can make out "grayed" so that users can not change costing sheet, RA key.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Sprint,
Try with SHD0, make the field as display only

  • Book cost to WBS and Cost Center

    Hello All,
    TEST SYSTEM
I post cost to WBS ( 5150 real ) and cost center (1001 real). The wbs 5150  is assign to cost center 1001.
I do not have validation and subs.
The system allow me to book cost to both cost object (WBS/Cost Center)
How does the system recognize this.
To my knowledge even though you booked cost to both cost object the system will automatically make wbs as statiscal.
    Is this correct ?
    Please advise
    Thanks
    bali

    Hi,
If your WBS is not defined as statistical in the master data, then booking to WBS and cost centre, will create statistical posting to cost centre and not to WBS.

  • Cost Owned Transactions and Cost Derived Transactions

    Hi,
Need to Know the details about Cost Owned Transactions and Cost Derived Transactions in 'Periodic Item Cost Change Report'.
    Regards,
    Abdul Wasi

    Hi,
In status control the setting is status of plan and hence the derived transactions will always be generated in planned status and you have to fix them through TPM18.
In order to post it through TBB1 itself, the control setting should have same status option.  But check with the business also whether this is not going to have any other effect because this is at the central company code and valuation area level.  All derived transactions will have the same status of the operative transactions itself.

  • Difference between cost component structure and cost component split

can anyone explain me the difference between cost component structure and cost component split with simple example
    thanks
    santosh

    Hi ,
    cost component structure
    Definition
    Number that identifies the structure.
    Use
In Product Cost Controlling, the cost component structure determines how the results of material costing are updated. The cost component structure groups the costs for each material according to cost component (such as material costs, internal activities, external activities, and overhead). If the material is used in the production of another material, the cost component split (which breaks down the costs according to material costs, internal activities, external activities, overhead, and so forth) remains in the system when the costs are rolled up.
In the cost component split, you also define the following for material costing:
Which part of the costs are fixed costs
    Which costs are
cost of goods manufactured and what are sales and administration costs
Which costs are relevant for stock valuation, commercial inventory valuation and tax inventory valuation
When the cost component structure is assigned to the organizational units, you can specify that two cost component splits are created:
    Main cost component split
This is the principal cost component split, meaning that it is used in the standard cost estimate, which can be used to update the material master. The main cost component split can be a cost component split for cost of goods manufactured or a primary cost component split.
    Auxiliary cost component split
This can exist in addition to the main cost component split, and is not used in the standard cost estimate. It can be used for analysis purposes, in that it can be displayed with the cost estimate and passed on to Profitability Analysis.
In Cost Center Accounting, the cost component structure determines how the results of the activity price calculation are updated. The cost component structure groups the costs for each activity type of the cost center according to components (such as material costs and labor costs). If an internal activity allocation is carried out, the cost component split (which breaks down the costs according to material, labor costs, and so forth) is retained at cost rollup.
If the cost component split is not to be retained, you can create a switching structure for the cost component structure for Cost Center Accounting. In the switching structure, you specify which sender cost component goes into which receiver cost component.
<b>require a cost component structure to calculate prices using cost component split.</b>
For each cost component structure you define a component such as energy, personnel, or raw materials. The components combine all costs occuring for a particular cost element area. In this way, you ensure greater cost transparency in activity price calculation when putting together the activity type prices - for example, it becomes easier to find how much of the activity price is taken up by the material costs.
In activity allocation, the cost component structure remains constant, meaning that the receiver takes on the sender cost elements and that the allocated costs are posted in the same cost components in the receiver as in the sender.
A cost component structure can have a maximum of 40 defined cost components.
Cost components are assigned to cost elements. You thereby determine which cost elements go to which rows in the structure, and how these components are updated in price calculation.
    Hope ths helps
    Please rewad points

  • How to edit data using a LOV list AND textfield for one Field

I am trying to edit the templated edit from HTMLDB template when I create a new table. I implemented most of the fields with LOV list like yes/no, joe/bob/john etc. But some fields as many probably have seen have a LOV called "Other" where a person types a different value than the ones available. Can someone tell me how I can accomplish that? Do I need to insert "Other" into LOV and have it be set as the value in the textfield? I am not sure how i can create both LOV list and textfield per category/field i.e. Name.
    Thanks

Again, I urge you to use HTML DB nomenclature to describe what you've done. For example: "I ran the Form on a Table wizard to create a form" Rather than using the word "template" for everything you describe. "Template" has a specific meaning in HTML DB and it is not what you are referring to.
You really should invest the time required to accurately phrase your problem. Just like answering questions on this forum requires time, so does formulating your question. It is time well spent and it is effort on your part that the experts on this forum deserve. If you don't put in this effort and instead just post a stream of consciousness, that means the readers of this forum will gloss over your question and ignore it. As a result, you have to ask the question again...and again.
Having said that, if I understand your question correctly, you should use a popup LOV item. This will allow the user to select from a list but will also allow typing of a non existent option into a text field.

  • Cost to Cost Assessment (KSU5) and Cost to Product Assessment (KEU5)

    Hi Guys,
    I need your expert advice!
When I check KSB1 per cost center, I noticed that I have some unallocated cost for the past three months. This is due to some late entries that I didnt notice and the fact that I already ran the assessment earlier. Please advice how can I allocate the unallocated cost for the past 3 months? Is there such thing as a Year To Date (YTD) Assessement?.
    I'll appreciate your advice.
    Best Regards,
    Nel

    Hi,
You can try to run your assessment again (it will reverse the results of the previous run and post a new one). Check before doing this, if your cycle is taking all costs or it could be limited by G/L accounts.

  • Column headers and data are mismatched in Data tab of views after move col.

    Hi,
Currently, I am using Windows XP, SQL Developer Version 1.2.1 Build Main 32.13.
    Java platform 1.5.0_06
    Oracle IDE 1.2.1.3213
I'm having trouble with display of data from views in the "Data" tab of SQL Developer. If I move a column left or right of its original place, the data no longer line up with the proper column heading. The data are in the correct order, but the column headers are out of whack. Also, in the Single Record View, the data and column headers are mismatched.
Refreshing the view, closing the view, closing and reopening SQL Developer do not "reset" the view so that the data and proper column headers are lined up. Even dropping and recreating the view does not force SQL Developer to use the proper data-column header match.
Just to be clear, the data within the view is fine. It is the display of the data-column headers in the "Data" tab of SQL Developer (and the single record view) that is wrong. The mismatch seems to occur after a column is moved in the view.
Is this a bug? I like the ability to move columns around within the display of the view. However, much more important that the column headers and data line up correctly.
    Thanks,
    Morgan

Thanks much. I found the correct file, deleted it, and the column headers and data match up again.
I found the correct file by searching the directory for one of the column names that occurs in the view (though I had to find both instances of "COLUMN_NAME" and "COLUMN NAME" (without the underscore)). Not sure why there were files with both versions.
Do you know if there is any way to prevent those XXXXXXXXXTableSettings.xml files from writing all together (oracle.javatools.controls.nicetable.NiceTablePersistentSettings)? I looked through the SQL Developer preferences but nothing jumped out as being the setting to switch off.
Should I be doing anything in particular to bring more attention to this potential bug so it might get fixed in a future release?
    Thanks again,
    Morgan

  • Cost centre and cost element related tables

    Hi,
Could any help me in knowing whre the cost centre goup and cost element groups are maintained.
Could you help in proving the link tables between Cost centre, Cost centre Group, Cost element and Cost element group.
    Regards,
    Krishna

    Hi,
Please refer to Table SETLEAF for cost element group and cost center group. This table is based on set class and 0101 is for Cost Center Group and 0102 is for Cost Element Group.
Cost Center Master data table is CSKS and Cost element Master data table is CSKB. To the bse of my knowledge you cannot directly join these two tables with SETLEAF table as key figure fields are not common. In case you are getting any ABAP report developed, you can ask the developer to write a code saying Controlling Area is equal to Organizational Unit as Set Subclass.
    Hope this helps.

  • Set Profile in Control Data of Service Order as required

    Hi gurus,
We need to set Dynamic Profile Field (FFPRF) in Service Order - Control Data Tab as mandatory.
As per usual procedure: SPRO - Plant Maintenance and Customer Service - Maintenance and Service processing - Maintenance and Service Orders --> Define Field Selection....We are not able to find field "Dynamic item Profile" in the list to set it as Required.
    Any idea how to proceed?
    Thanks!
    VL

    Hi Narasimhan,
    Thanks for your quick response.
We already considered setting as default DIP per Service Order but this is would not work for us as we have for one Service Order multiple possible Dynamic Item Profiles.
Would be great if we could set it as a required data so order can not be saved without DIP filled in. Isn´t it possible to do it via standard?
In addition to that would be great if we could set as default the DIP per Company Code to which the Service Order is assigned to. (enhancement IWO10009?) but relation Company Code - DIP would need to be maintained in a Z table...
    Thanks,
    VL

  • Want to remove Technical data Tab from Work Center

    Hi All,
I want to remove Technical data Tab from Work Center. I have Removed ''Technical data'' Tab from Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-->Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -->Maintenance Plans, Work Centers, Task Lists and PRTs >Work Centers>Configure Screen Sequence for Work Center.
Still I am able to see Technical Data Tab in IR01, Work center.
Is there any other config to remove the same?

    This is resolved.
I have changed the config in following node as 0005 for PM
SPRO / IMG -> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Maintenance Plans, Work Centers, Task Lists and PRTs -> Work Centers->General Data->Define Work Center Types and Link to Task List Application
