IWA error in IE 7

Hi,
I am trying to configure IWA using OAM.I am using IE 7.I just created a test file in IIS Server and protected it.When I try to access the file from IE,i am getting a pop up for authentication.I believe it is because of the way IWA configured for IE 7.Did anybody faced this issue?.Is there any workaround?Thanks.

Actually, IWA and WNA are two separate things. IWA requires Microsoft IIS. WNA has no such dependency. WNA is used in OAM 11g. IWA is supported in OAM 10g and below.
So the first question is whether you are using OAM 10g or 11g.
On the client-side, there are a number of things that need to be in place in the browser settings for IWA to work. First is to ensure Enable Integrated Windows Authentication is enabled in the IE advanced settings. Secondly, ensure the site you are accessing is in the local intranet zone in the security settings in IE. Third is to ensure your computer is a member of the domain and you have logged into AD.
On the server side, if using Windows/IIS, ensure you only have Integrated Windows Authentication enabled. Don't enable any other authentication type or anonymous authentication.
I would remove/disable webgate from the server first and confirm IWA is working. Then proceed with putting the webgate on and testing. This should help you isolate where the problem is occurring.

Error while configuring IWA in Oracle Access Manager

This is the error that I get:
"The credentials (REMOTE_USER=MyUser Resource=/edm/ RequesterIP=172.25.164.82 Operation=GET) used in the login do not correspond to a user profile in the Identity System."
I definitely have this user in AD as well as Netscape DS. My OAM configuration points to Netscape Directory. While the IWA login happens successfully, the WebGate is not able to identify this user in Netscape. What could be the possible reasons for this error?

Thanks Boland. That solved the problem. I was using samaccountname from AD, instead of uid from Netscape.

You can't edit or make any changes to the controlfile.
You have to make these changes using alter tablespace command.
alter tablespace <tablespace_name> offline;
-- copy files from old location to new location
ALTER TABLESPACE <tablespace_name>
RENAME DATAFILE '<path / filename>',
TO '<new path / filename>',

Error while appending a Node to another as child

HI,
I am new to XML and trying to add a Node n2 as a child to Node n1 and getting error "Node does not belong to current XML document" .Iwas getting these Node objects through APIs written by somebody.I am doing like this.
Node n1 = SomeAPI.methode();
Node n2 = SomeAPI.method();
now n1.appendChild(n2);
is this the right approach can anybody post sample code how to do this.

be sure n1 and n2 has the same owner document,if not u can do like this:
Node n1 = SomeAPI.methode();
Node n2 = n1.getOwnerDocument().import(SomeAPI.method(),true/false);

Error while reading the analog data?

Hi,
I was trying to read the analog data from 4 voltage channels with -5,+5 voltages as minmum and maximum values.Iwas using 250khz as sampling rate and 2seconds as duration.When I try to read the analog data using DAQmxReadBinaryU16 method.I was getting the following error :
ADC conversion attempted before the prior conversion was completed.Increase the period between ADC conversions.I f you are using external clock check your signal for the presence of noise or glitches.Task Name _unnamed Task<0>.Status C.
I would appriciate if you could do this needful.

The M Series devices have a specified maximum sampling rate for a single channel. Past a single channel, the maximum sampling rate is then divided down depending on the number of channels sampled. The reason for this is because each M Series device has one analog-to-digital converter (ADC). Every channel in a scan list must pass its data through this one ADC. To allow for this, the M Series devices also have a multiplexer (MUX). Because of settling time limitations with the MUX switching, the maximum sampling rate is the specified single channel sampling rate divided by the number of channels be scanned. In your case, because you are using 4 channels, the maximum sampling rate you can achieve with the 6221 is:
250 KS/s / 4 = 62.5 KS/s
If you need a sampling rate of 250 KS/s for each channel, you may be interested in our S-Series devices. These devices have a separate ADC for each channel, allowing all analog channels to run at the maximum sampling rate simultaneously. Take a look at the PCI-6143, which can sample at 250 KS/s on all of its 8 channels at the same time.

Hi all,
The above mentioned solution is a good idea but in this context not appropriate as it aims at resolving an issue in the delivered Content Version of 0TCT_VC11.
In your case, you already have 0TCT_VC11 activated and you can not read any data from this VirtualProvider in queries. Right?
In that case, you have to:
1. Check that the entire data flow is active for the InfoProvider (activation should occur for the MYSELF source system): 0TCT_VC11 with InfoSource 0TCT_IS11 with DataSource 0TCT_DS11
2. Activate the direct access for the VirtualProvider (Context menu of 0TCT_VC_11 > Activate Direct Access > Source Syst. for InfoSource3.x > Mark the column with the MYSELF source system and Save).
This corresponds to Installation "Step 5.) Activate direct access for virtual providers" that is mentioned in SAP Note 934848 "Collective note: (FAQ) BI Administration Cockpit".

Multi Value Error!!

Hi,
I am facing a small issue that my report it is working fine in development server when it is moving into testing server it is getting Multivalue error in the Report Headings.... the data is getting fine. In my report i haev sub reports all getting data except in the report it is getting maultivalue errors in headings....
i have 3 to 4 times iwas imported my webi into from dev to testing but problm was not yet solved.... acn any one help me where excatly im lackng to solve my problem... it an imp. if any one help me it sgreatPlieasure to me.....

Hi Ravi,
Try placing the object showing multivalue in a non-header cell and see what it shows. Place a different relevant dimension in the header cell above the multivalue object if it is still multivalue.
Also, is it the exact same report as was on dev and test??

Error Code 88 with Pixma Pro9500, even when art margins are set correctly

I'm getting error code 88 (from the CanonPro9500 series print monitor window) when attempting to print on an A3Plus art paper (Hahnemuehle William Turner), even though I have the paper size set correctly (in the Photoshop Print Dialog, Print Settings) to "Art A3+(Margin 35)".
(Furthermore – though most of the following options probably have nothing to do with the problem, and are probably the correct or allowable settings anyway – I'm using Canon Color Matching; MediaType: "Fine Art Museum Etching"; Paper Source: Front Tray; PrintQuality: High; and am printing in color, not grayscale. Color Options are all left set at zero.)
I’m printing from Photoshop CS5 Extended,Version 12.0 x64, using an iMac with MacOSX10.6.8. The Canon Printer Driver is “Pro9500 Driver – CUPS Version10.51.2.0”, recently installed (or re-installed) just the other day when I wastrying to deal with this problem (I didn’t check the CUPS version beforereinstalling the driver, so I don’t know if this could be relevant).
(I also attempted to print by setting, in Paper Handling, "Scale to fit paper size", with Destination PaperSize set also to the suggested Art A3+ (Margin 35), although I never had to do this in the past, and so I don't suppose it matters. Still, this did not help.)
I had the same problem attempting to print on an A4 art paper, as one is supposed to do, using front loading and the paper size set to Art A4 (Margin 35), with Media Type set to "Fine Art PremiumMatte" (it was a matte art paper). No go; I got error 88. Iwas able to print on the same sheet by setting "Matte Photo Paper"(while still using Front Loading), but this is not the media type one shoulduse for such a paper.
In the past few years I have printed 8-bit files, in both AdobeRGB and sRGB, on A4 and A3Plus art papers, in both color and grayscale, always using the art margin settings, without any such difficulties. Typically I use Color Management by Printer, or “Canon Color Matching” (though I experimented with the use of dedicated paper profiles and Color Management by Photoshop). Lately I’m trying to print 16-bit files, generally Photoshop PSD or TIFF, with a document profiles of sRGB, AdobeRGB, or ProPhotoRGB. Of course I tried several times to print from an 8-bit file, and once using Color Management by Photoshop, but got error 88 just the same.

Remember that you can set all your paddings in a single setting for a div. It's like a clock, starting in the 12:00 oClock setting, going clock wise.

You don't specify a unit with 0 so the above would be the same as:

It works with margins also, etc...

So I see it is not only a address book issue, though it is the first visible hint you get about it. I also get the Password request window for "Retrieving Response Groups" after the log in.
I looked at similar issues, but what I found was mainly Kerberos issues, but that is not the case here, the user is able to access the folders.

Error whicle Testing SAP Adapter service

I have created Mediator process which has configuration for 3rd Party Adapter for SAP. I deployed the process and when I am testing it, I am getting following error.
java.lang.Exception: oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'TEST_ITEM' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue. JCA Binding Component is unable to create an outbound JCA (CCI) connection. CreateItemListProvSAP:CreateItemListSAPAdapterService [ TEST_ITEMPortType::TEST_ITEM(Input_TEST_ITEM,Output_TEST_ITEM) ] : The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Configuration 'SAP_TEST_TARGET' not available for adapter 'MySAP'. Could some one please help - what could be the possible cause?

My question is what do you mean by CRUD operation here? I just deployed the process and did not do anything else.
Also, I need some clarification related to SAP adapter configuration for Inbound and Outbound process.
My process is outbound (I am using SOA 11.1.1.3) and through application explorer I have created only Connection and Target.
Under the target, in remote function modle, I selected the BAPI and exported wsdl and xsds using J2CA
For Outbound transactions, do I need to create channel?
Could some one please help list the steps of configurations needed for Outbound and Inbound transactions for SAP adapter in Application explorer

We have redeployed the J2CA and bounced the server.
Mediator process is also redeployed.
Now I am getting following error -
Webservice invocation failed
The selected operation execute could not be invoked.
An exception occured while invoking the webservice operation. Please see logs for more details.

Was it ever resolved? We have the same issue after updating WA from 931 to 9313. And even 93133 did not solve it (advised by Oracle). We see however that startupfolder settings for all users are refering to user "null" in stead of their own name. Changing this back for one user manualy did not get the message away for this user, so more is wrong I supose.....

iam configuring ESS in ep.while doing this process in JCO connections for
ex:
SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics
SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics_MetaData
in first step it is asking for Destination Name and client .
for this it aouto matically the name is comming and for the client iam giving my sap client number .
after configuring JCO connections i tryed test connection . but it is giving error.
like

what is this error and how to solve this error.
i tryed in many ways.
iwas check all the parameters .
like services and host files in both the servers. all these parameters are correct.
and is there any need to create RFC destinations to create in EP server and ECC.
pls help me on this .

LB in front of IWA IIS servers

Hi,
We have configured IWA authentication scheme with OAM 10g. For this, we are using 2 instances of IIS 7 server. Both of these IIS servers are on 2 different physical machines and have been configured for IWA.
Now to achieve HA, we have deployed a Cisco LB in front of these 2 IIS servers.
In OAM IWA authentication scheme, we have given LB hostname for IWA server.
Now when we make a request for IWA protected resource, the request is passed on to IIS server from LB but after that, nothing happens.
Is there anything we need to do at LB configuration to resolve our issue ?

What is the response it gives ?
Note: Make sure you have added LB URL to Local Intranet zone in IE browser settings.
