J1IJ:- No Excise Duties in Depot invoice

Hi All,
I have created Depot OR->Depot Del.
now i am creating Depot Excise invoice
J1IJ (RG23D selection) for Delivery.
but in Excise invoice the BED,SED are not getting copied.
Reg,
Antaa21

Hi,
As i understood, you are trying to do the sales from your Depot.
while creating J1IJ for RG23D Selection, with reference to Delivery, You need to select the Incoming Excise invoice no and copy the values.
If you are not getting the Incoming excise inv no that means with reference to the material and batch, Excise values are not captured in J1IG with ref to material document.
Kindly check the above and let us know the status.

SK

  • At time of return depot invoice creation , not capture Excise Condition Value

    Hi,
    my queastion is that
In retun process from Customer to Depot,
when user create return Depot invoice through t-code VF01 then  Not capture Excise Condition Value (  JEXP - Basic Excise Duty ,  JCEP- Edu.  Cess Duty and JA1X - Additional tax. ) at time of Depot. Invoice Creation.
we can also check  Table J_1IRG23D, in this table have value of these Excise Cond. Value.
But Delivery No. is not update in table J_1IRG23D.
and I applied  condition formula 356 in Procedure ZDOM02 ( Traders  Pricing Procedure).
How can capture condition value of JEXP, JCEP and JA1X  at time of Retrun Depot Invoice Creation ?
    Guide me  .....

    Hi,
I have  flow your define step:
    Returns from Customer to Depot
1     Create a return order in Depot
2     Key in the invoice number and execute
3     Assign Order Reason and save
4     Create a return delivery  and do PGR.  Maintain storage location 1030
5     Create Transfer posting in MB1B with movement type 453, storage location 1030 and save
6     Note down the material document reference
7     Go to J1IG to reverse excise issue posting
    8     Click "Capture"
9     Key in the material document number and  series group
10     Click "Details".  Now select the line item and again click "More documents"
11     Key in the original excise invoice reference created at supplying plant
12     Skip all warning message and go back
13     Maintain the internal number and the year.
14     With this, entry from RG23D will be reversed
But still the excise condition values are not being captured during invoice VF01 and std depot routing 356 is being used.
Program name of depot routing  is  FV64A356.
we can also check  Table J_1IRG23D, in this table have value of these Excise Cond. Value.
But Delivery No. is not update in table J_1IRG23D.

  • Excise duties not flowing while creating return excise invoice

    Hi friends ,
During sales return excise invoice creation ,excise duties are not determined automatically in J1IH. Is there any settings instead of entering the value manually in J1IH? I have searched the forum but only manual entries related results are posted. Is there any automatic determination?
    Thanks in advance
    Bhuvanashree

    Dear Friend,
As per the SAP new package ETT RLFC has been introduced for Excise sales return. New tab   "Return sales Excise" available in J1IH for post Return excise invoice automatically. .
We added ETT RLFC in table J_1ITRAN and did configuration for account determination for excise, this is helped us to post excise invoice for Sales return.
Please refer SAP Note: 1907900 - Error 8I-402 for return sales transaction(RLFC)- J1IH
In addition even after all the configuration of RLFC you are not able to post the Excise for return sales then this is due to confirmation of service in original delivery.
This is a typical case when you are using Batch managed material.
If this scenario arise implement SAP OSS note No: 1971904 which will resolve the issue.

  • Excise duties can be changed in AP Invoice after raising excise invoice

After raising a GRPO and then Excise invoice, we should not be allowed to change the excise amounts in AP Invoice. Otherwise, this will lead to discrepancies in the accounts. Is there any way to restrict user to update these values. Not just the user, the system also updates these values when I change the unit rate (my excise is already calculated on the assessable value in the excise document)

    Hi
If u dont want to change the Unit Price or Rate in Invocie then Restrict the Authorisation for the end user to change the price, this u can easily achieve by Untick the Filed of Unit price in Formsettings and make authorisation to that user - "No Authorisation to Formsettings"
or U can Use SPtransactionNotification to valide ur process, so it will not allow to change the price..

    Dear All,
I done this--by doing some configuration changes.
Normally while doing Exports we are tempted to use the same sales area and accordingly we may give the combination of excise grp+series grp+export type in IMG>>>Logistics General>>>India>>>Business transactions>>>Outgoing excise invoices>>>Maintain default excise groups and series groups.
Once after removing the export type to your sales area combination--system will show this error--and we cannot even post the Excise invoices.(J1IIN)
I tried in my IDES--that with export type(Ex.Export under Bond)--with this assignment--i am able to post my excise invoices.
Once after removing this assignment of export type--again i am getting this error.
Actually i am not even aware why it is happening--almost after two months of struggle--i find this.
(i feel it is in the same way that we cannot even open/See a sales order by deleting sales group which was created&used previously)
i am sharing this because somebody may get a little help with my thread.
Mark this if helpful--there by others can easily find this thread.

  • Related to Free goods with Excise Duties

    Saogurus,
In my client place some time they get a sample from the Vendor in which he never sends invoice for that sample but  sends excise invoice along with this sample, for whch we  never take credit for such excise duties but it suppose to be add to  tthe Material cost.
in SAP :- Where i created Purchase order and marked as free goods and in the inovice Tab i mentioned tax code which are no credit in nature,at the time of GRN, wtere enter the value maually at excise item level but after saving the GRN, why the system posting the value in the register(which suppose to be not).  the condtion types which are used in the tax code are
    JMIP,JMX2
    JEC2,JEX2
    JSEI,JHX2.
    Thanks

  • Issue of Excise Duties in Foreign Currency in J1IIN

    Dear All,
As one of my user has created Export Excise Invoice on 31st of May.  Unfortunately Exchange Rate was not maintained by him for currency Euro in OB08 and While creating the Excise Invoice all the duties came in EURO but the document currency is INR. Please find below screen shot.
Now my query is, Is it possible to update/convert these Excise Duty Values in INR without cancelling this document. Because while creating ARE1 all the data are coming in EUR only.
    Regards:
    Abhishek

    Hi,
Could you please replicate the scenario in Dev / QAS and check whether the excise duties are calculated correctly in J1IIN when the the billing currency is EUR, and OB08 is correctly maintained.
Repeat the same scenario without maintaining the currency conversion factor in OB08 and compare the excise invoices. Revert back with the results.
I guess that the issue is not because OB08 was not maintained. Found a similar issue mentioned in the notes:  957377 - Excise base appears in foreign currency in J1IIN for TAXINN  and  936007 - Excise base not converted to INR in J1IIN/J1II for exports You may check the notes if its applicable for your SAP release.

  • Excise Duties in Purchase Order

    Hi Experts,
I seek some advice from you regarding Excise Duties flow in the Purchase order.
The Excise duties are flowing through the invoice tab of Purchase order. We are maintaining the condition record based on Key Combination (e.g. Plant/Material Group) and Tax Code.
The Excise conditions will flow as per the condition record maintained. But in some cases the Excise condition(E.g. JMOP,JMIP) is flowing even if the condition is maintained for some other Tax code.
Can somebody advice how these excise conditions are flowing(However the value is coming as 0).
    Thanks.
    Tushar

    Hi Tushar,
As u have maintained the condition records for Plant/Material-group combination, the values will be populated irrespective of the tax-code used in PO.
If u want to get the excise values as per the tax-code used, u have to add one more access i.e. "Plant/material-group/TAx-code" in the access sequence used for that condition type and maintain condition records for this combination
I think this will solve ur problem

  • Excise entries for Performa Invoice

    Hi Experts,
My client wants to have EXCISE entries to get posted automatically to the G/L Accounts maintained in VKOA whenever Performa Invoice is created. i.e. only for Excise condition types JEXP,JCEP,JA1X maintained in Pricing Procedure.
Please suggest how to go about it.
Should I ask ABAPER for the same? If yes the suggest how and where we need to change.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hello Deepak,
Excise Duties are charged (Accounting Entries passed) in Books of Accounts at the time of removal of goods from your Plant.
A Proforma Invoice does not involve actual goods movement & it is issue only for information purpose (to open LC or arrrange for funds, etc).
Try to explain to your client that Excise entries cannot be passed while creating Proforma Invoice as it is legally invalid.
    Hope this clarifies,
    Thanks,
