J2EE issue in project

We have been using j2ee.jar previously in our project but its been recommended to pick it from Weblogic but there are too many jars similar to it, plz guide which one to ake in our project.

can u explain your question a  bit more.
which version of jdev? are you making fusion application or j2ee application.Which jar you are uploading?

    Hi Experts
    We have upgraded the system with SP_HR Component patch level 64 and configured SAP Note 1568264.
    We have an issues on Projected Income Tax.
    Scenario :
    Monthly sal : 25000/- and paid the same to employee in Apr, May 11.
    In the month of June employee has LOP for 2 days and paid 22000/- against June 11.
    Now system is calculating projected IT based on 22000/- for the remaining months i.e., 22000*10= 2,20,000/-.
    Showing projected income tax as 2,20,000+50000 = 2,70,000/- (should be 3,00,000/-)
    Please suggest the possible ways to resolve this.

    New issues rise Now....
    For New (mid month) joinee at the first month Exemption U/S 10 is calculated based on the Conveyance Allowance amount *12 months (or no. of remaining months for financial yr end), but in my client income tax Exemption U/S 10 based on the actual salary (not earned salary) from the first month onwards.
    For example :
    Employee X,
    Joined date 15.08.2011,
    Conveyance Allowance = 800 INR. Earned Conveyance Allowance for 15 days = 400 INR.
    While Start Payroll for the period 5th (August) 2011. The WT /130 Exemption U/S 10 = 3,200 (400*8). Based on this Conveyance Allowance The Exemption U/S 10 calculated, But I want to calculated the Exemption U/S 10 at first month (august 2011) based on follows,
    August month earned Conveyance Allowance = 400 INR + Actual Conveyance Allowance per month =800*7 =5,600.
    Exemption U/S 10 = 6,000 INR.
    Please give me some solution

    I'm facing several issues in Project Performance Report (PPR), although the setups seem to be correct.
    The Project has a scheduled start date of 02-Apr-12 and end date 14-Nov-13. The transaction start date is 31-Mar-12 and end date is 14-Nov-13.
    We entered some transactions (preapproved batches) for the dates 31-Mar-12, 01-Apr-12 and 6-May-12.
    Ran the cost distribution program, viewed that the exp items are cost distributed.
    Then ran the Update Project Resource and Base Summaries Data program followed by the Update Project Performance Data but the PPR page did not show the actual data.
    Post that ran the Refresh programs and actual cost data was visible in the Task Summary and Resource Summary pages of PPR but not in the main page.
    Ran the Refresh programs again and now the actual cost data is displayed in the main page but in the Task Summary and Resource Summary pages the actual cost has got doubled.
    So two issues:
    1. Why it did not populate the actual data once we ran the Update programs?
    2. Why has the amounts got doubled in some pages?
    This is very critical. Any insights would be of great help. This is happening for a few projects. I must say the behaviour of the PPR programs is very inconsistent. You never know what to expect.

I feel like it interferes with iPhoto as well because it says it is locked and I have no rights to view it. I wanted to see if anyone else had/s this issue and how you fixed it before lugging it into the apple store and being without a computer for a few weeks...

  • Asset settlement issue from Project System

    Hello everyone,
    In SAP, we have tied Project System and Fixed Asset in the sense that for each network/activity in PS we create and link an asset in Asset Accounting. In the Purchase Order, the network/activity number is assigned and all the transactions that occur through this PO (including down payment, its clearing, GR/IR)  are then settled on the specified asset when we execute settlement run at month end through CJ88.
    However, we have encountered scenarios where an asset was not timely allocated to the network/activity but the transactions were carried out through the PO. When the settlement run was executed, its impact was not visible in Asset Accounting. Later, it was realized and the asset was created and assigned. Once the asset was assigned, all the subsequent transactions through the PO were then being settled successfully. But the problem is with those transactions for which the asset number was initially not assigned.
    Is there any program that can be executed to include the impact of the previous transactions. Otherwise, suggest alternatives.

    Hi Thanks for your reply, But that is not relevent to this issue.
    The issue here is -
    First 2 documents has value date of 4th period and the amount is 8800
    Next document has value date of 5th period and the amount is 1200
    Now i am trying to settle 10000(8800+1200) with 5th period date. Its givign an error Settlement amount is greater than Available amount
    Will it solve if i settle 4th period with 8800 first and then 1200 with 5t period? or any other process?

  • Issue with project structure...

    Hi all,
    Our projects are created from sales order through assembly processing. All wbs are of first level..the user By mistake manually made changes to the structure by dragging the wbs and dropping it under another wbs in the project thus making it a subordinate wbs I.e second level wbs. Now during the running of the result analysis  for the first level wbs the system is giving an error to delete the ra data of the second level wbs before proceeding with the first level wbs and now the user has realized that project structure is changed. Can we go ahead and delete the ra data of the lower wbs and change the project structure back at this point? What implications will changing the structure have at this point?

    Besides above suggestion, you can reorganize your structure by executing "Derive structure" in CJ20N.
    Go to menu bar Project > Check/Derive Structure.
    Note that this is possible before saving changes to system. in you case, when WBS element was dragged and placed under another WBS element, level of WBS also got changed.
    These kind of issues are user induced and avoidance is very difficult. But we can still control implementing User Status. Try this option which will default at initial level and stays there till the closing of project.
    You can select the object  "Change Structure"  and option - Forbidden.

  • Goods Issue for Project and Cost Center from consignmnet

    I am issue goods directly from consignment stock to Cost Center and Project using movement type 201 K and 221K.
    Business has a requirement and they like to know how much goods issued to specific cost center or project. Is there any way in SAP I can look into this?

    This option doesn't give me the information by project or cost center.
    Option which I can see goes to table MSEG set different search criteria. Problem with this user has to enter lot of information.

  • Issue with Project specific stylesheets

    I was watching the thread Project specific stylesheets, and i think i follow all the steps but I can see any change on my WD app.
    I did the following:
    1.- Create a custom portal display, this generates a new entry inside
    usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\portalapps\com.sap.portal.design.urdesigndata\themes\portal
    2.- I copy this folder to:
    usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\temp\webdynpro\web\sap.com\tcwddispwda\global\SSR\themes
    3.- Call my wd app like this
    http://<server>:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/local/WDProy/WDApp?style_sheet=http://<server>:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwddispwda/global/SSR/themes/ThemeName/ur/ur_ie6.css
    But this doesn’t do the work for me.

    Thanks for your reply, it was a nearly approach. I said nearly because the style changed but not entire well for example, I got a table with selection but the table doesn’t look well, the selection button is a button and there are no lines between rows or columns. Besides I can’t see a difference between any theme that I choose for example sap_tradeshow or sap_chrome. Any idea of what could be wrong?

    end part where Risk, Issue n all content can be seen. In My case only simple 3-4 items can be seen apart from risk, issue etc.
    After that i saved this custom template to my
    one of EPT in Project Server 2013. But unable to customize my Risk & Issue Category options for all projects. However, i have gone through that post & unable to understand as described in 2010 & i am using 2013 version.
    Kindly let me know after saving custom Template
    to EPT how to move further to customize these risk & issue categories globally.!!

  • Issues using Project 2013 with SharePoint 2010

    I'm a SharePoint Admin and a few users have come to me with issues related to checking in Project 2013 files. The scenario they describe is this:
    Project 2013 file is saved and checked in to a document library
    User opens the file and selects edit from the dialog menu.
    The time the document is open varies, from a few minutes to over an hour
    User is logged in as [email protected]
    They can close the file, select check in, and update the file in the library
    Once they try to open the file again, they are given a message saying that the file is checked out to server\user and asks whether they want to view a read only copy
    Saving is disabled because it is read only
    If the user tries to close the file, they are given the option to check in the file
    Sometimes the file will check in and other times it will not.
    Has anyone run into issues like this before?

    Second time when you open the project file, which option do you select. "Read-only" of "Check-out to Edit". If you are using "Check-out" option, you should not have any issues.

  • 10.0.9 to 10.11 update issues - re: project files not updating

    #1 - I understand the function of libraries/events/projects in the 10.1+ version of Final Cut X, so this is not a case of not being able to identify projects contained within an event.
    FCPX simply refuses to update projects created in an older version (which is unfortunate).
    Events are imported without issue.  
    Is there some type of workaround?  I am just getting an error that quits cancels the update process without giving me reason.
    40 minutes of searching through google lead me to posing this question.

    Solved the issue:
    I had multiple folders/subfolders which contained all of my old projects (this hierarchy was created through pre 10.1 file system organization).  the point is I just moved all of the project folders to the "Final Cut Projects" folder at the root of the drive and all was fine.

    I am creating the projects using create project API (PA_PROJECT_PUB.CREATE_PROJECT) from 11i to R12.The data coming from 11i has the project currency code(INV_CURRENCY_CODE).I am passing this data to the API using record type (customer_tbl_type),but i cannot see the value in front end but the currency code is populating from the template instead of taking from the staging table.The base table is PA_PROJECT_CUSTOMERS and the field is INV_CURRENCY_CODE.
    Navigation : (Projects-->Customers and contacts->code-->).
    Eg:
    The staging table has the currency field as 'USD' .The project which is created taking the value as "CAD' which is defaulting from the template from which the project created,but in my scenario this field should take the value from the staging table,i am passing the value from the staging table but its defaulting the value from the template?
    Can anyone please let me know is there any setup issue or issue with the API or do i need to use update_Project api?

    Check if XLACORE.plx and XLATACCT.plx library files are present in the environment you are working on.
    Also check if the FND_INDICATOR_COLORS value is set to 'Y' , if not please do it.

  • CP4: Issue Opening Project on Different PC

    I created a project on CP4 on my home PC. However, when I tried to open this on my work PC I have run into problems.
    To all intents, the .cp file looks like it is opening up but then does not progress beyond the Start-Up screen. When I opened up another instance of CP4 and tried to open up the same file again, it told me that another version of Captivate was already using the file, so clearly it thinks it is open.
    Both versions of CP4 were installed from the same Adobe E-Learning Suite package, so I am at a bit of a loss to understand the issue.

    Will have to check, for the moment I'm in college and have only my laptop. But as far as I'm understanding the idea of 'OLE' an embedded file is really into the host file, whereas a linked file is outside. Because it is easy to update imported PPT-slides when they are changed in the original PPT-file, the default setting in Captivate is 'Linked', which I think is very correct. If you look at the Presentation in the Library, you'll see that for linked presentation the size is 0Kb. If you embed the presentation, you will see the real size of the presentation.
    Your second, interesting question learnt me something too, thanks! Find the Presentation in the LIbrary (you can open the library by the Window menu or CTRL-ALT-L), use the right-click menu and you'll be able to change from linked to embedded and vice versa. So as long as you stay on the same PC you keep it linked, and if you have to transfer the file, change to embedded.
