I am getting this exact same error when attempting to redirect out of the JAAS custom login module we created.  I inherited this code, so I am not sure what to do to make this work.  Did you ever get it resolved?  If so, can you tell me what you did to fix it?
My code looks similar to yours:
WebCallback wcb = new WebCallback ();
this.callbackHandler.handle(new Callback [] {wcb});
HttpServletResponse rsp = wcb.getResponse();
myLoc.infoT("URL: " + this.changepasswordurl + this.username);
rsp.sendRedirect(this.changepasswordurl + this.username);
I'm getting exactly the same stack dump you got.  The URL gets printed in the trace log, and when I enter it directly into the browser, it works just fine.  Something about the redirect is wreaking havoc in the portal.
Can anyone suggest how to make this redirect work?
Thank you,
Dave

  • New JAAS Logon Module that calls RFC

    I want to build a new logon module that extends AbstractLoginModule.
    I want to call an RFC in ECC using JCA in this logon module. The purpose of this RFC call is to read the users roles in the backend, if they have a certain role I will dynamically assign them a portal group using the UME API.
    which method in the Logon Module (AbstractLoginModule) should I make the call to the RFC?  (initialize(), login(), commit(), etc.)
    Does anybody have any examples of how to make the RFC call from a custom logon module using JCA?

    Hi K,
    I tend to put the bulk of the logic for my login modules in the login() method - although usually this is for checking authentication rather than assigning roles/groups.
    Have you thought about using UME type ABAP to map ECC roles to Portal Groups? If you then need to write a login module to handle, say, LDAP authentication, then at least it is doing what it should be - i.e. authentication, and the heavy-lifting to do with JCA, roles, etc is handled by SAP-standard code.
    For sample JCA code, there is some in the [Universal Worklist Wiki|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BPX/DeveloperStudioProject+Files] - just download and extract the Devlopment Component there (don't forget to remove the .gif extension - a hack I used to get a Zip file into the Wiki).  The file SapRfc.java gives you a user-friendly way of calling RFCs using JCA. To see it in use, see AbsenceApproval.java - the method getWorkitemDescription() is a good example to look at.
    The only downside of the SapRfc.java library is that the constructor takes a IPortalComponentRequest object as an argument (allowing you to use a Portal System Alias), and you don't really have access to one of those in a JAAS module. You will have to modify this code to take a set of ConnectionProperties instead (see the documentation [Using the SAP System Connector|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/89/8a185c148e4f6582560a8d809210b4/frameset.htm]).
    Really, the component you want to develop might be better deployed as a Portal component. Your users would access this component first of all, and when it completes it would forward them on to the Portal proper.
    Hope this helps,
    Darren

  • ICE_SERVICE portal user doesn't allow an anonymous access to KM content

    When we upload files (e.g. image files) into root/documents/MyFolder repository they get a /irj/go/km/docs/MyFolder/* link. After that they can be seen by an anonymous users.
    But every day at 9AM ICE_SERVICE portal user modifies all files in /documents/MyFolder folder and transform /irj/go/km/docs/MyFolder/* file link into /irj/servlet/prt/prtroot/ (we can see that in file Details window). After that an anonymous user lose permission to access the files of the repository.
    How to prevent such behavior or to workaround this?

    It might be happening due to configured ICE Online Exchange so, check following....
    Go to Content Management -
    > Content Exchange -
    > Syndicators----
    > Offers     there you'll see list of offers just delete them if not needed , this might solve the issue...

  • Firefox doesn't load any website

    Hello,
    I installed Firefox on a Windows 8 laptop recently but I cannot access any website with it, it either gives me the error message "server not found" or simply doesn't do anything.
    I tried to uninstall and reinstall it first, then to follow the various troubleshooting suggestions from the support but nothing worked. I am not using a proxy so I set Firefox's connection settings accordingly. I deactivated both antivirus and firewall, I also added Firefox to the list of safe applications in my firewall. I changed the config for IPv6 and DNS Prefetching as instructed. I have not been able to load any page at all since I installed Firefox so I assume that my history, cookies, etc are clean but I did reset Firefox to factory settings anyway.
    The version I am using is 33.1 with no extensions or anything else installed.
    I have never encountered this problem before so I am completely clueless. I can load any website on the other two browsers that are installed (IE and Chrome) so I guess there is some sort of incompatibility somewhere.
    Any help would be very welcome.

  • Firefox Doesn't Load Any Website and Scroll Bar Switches to the Left Side of the Screen??

    First let me say this is a work computer that I am using, so there is plenty of virus protection and firewall. I have always used firefox for all my casual internet browsing and work network needs. I recently updated to the latest version of firefox and that is when I started having problems. Almost any web page I go to wether it is my work intranet home page or a common site such as google mozilla will not finish loading the page. If I hit refresh or try to go to another site it gets wierd and the scroll bar switches to the left side of the screen and the page seems to be stuck loading. At this point almost nothing responds to any mouse clicks except for closing the firefox window. If I go to tools --> options it brings up a blank options window with only the "ok" and "cancel" buttons displayed. Help please, I don't like using IE, but right now that is my only option.

  • How to stop user doesn't have "approver" to approve PR from "forward"

    When we have an issue from our customers that an approver forward via email to the user doesn't have "approve" right. But this use be cable to approve this PR. Is there profile or setting to stop this ?
    we are using EBS 12.0.1 and database 11.1. Hope some one can shed lights on us.
    Thanks,
    Albert

    Sanjay,
    Our issue is when any approver used "forward" function from Gmail or any mail program and send the PR to an user. This user doesn't have any approval right ,but this user can open this mail from "forward" and she clicks "approve" button from the bottom of this email and send "approve" action back to Oracle EBS. After a few minutes we went to database to check this status of PR is approved by "Approver" but not by this user.
    Thx.

  • How to change the portal user id 's assigned employee in ESS configuration

    Hello Gurus,
        I now have a question related to ESS configuration. I want to know how to change the Portal user's pernr assignment in the ECC 6.0 system. Somebody had actually assigned my portal user ID a PERNR in the ECC 6.0 system. But now, for test purposes, I want to change the PERNR assignment to something else for my portal user id.
    Could any of you please guide me in doing these steps?
    Points will definitely be awarded for helpful answers.
    Thanks gurus in advance for your help.
    ~~LB

    Hi Leena,
    You can create a new user name with the username and password assigned to it, with the transaction SU01.
    Ex : ESS_USER1
    Go to transaction code : PA30.
    Enter the pernr you want to assign to the user ESS_USER1 that you have created earlier.
    Enter infotype number : 105
    Now go ahead and click on the change button.
    And assign the user name as ESS_USER1.
    Then the pernr number will be assigned to the ESS_USER1 that you have created.
    You can check the same when you go to the HRUSER transaction code.
    Please let me know if you still have any issues on the same.
    Cheers.

  • JAAS Login Module Redirect to Iview

    I am having some difficulty getting a redirect to an Iview to work in our custom JAAS Login Module.  This code works in our current production environment, using Portal version EP6.0 SP2 Patch 35:
    callbacks[0] = new com.sap.security.api.logon.WebCallback();
    HttpServletResponse rsp = ((WebCallback) callbacks[0]).getResponse();
    rsp.sendRedirect(this.changepasswordurl + this.username);  //get url from property
    But this nearly identical code is not working in our development environment, running NetWeaver:
    WebCallback wcb = new WebCallback ();
    this.callbackHandler.handle(new Callback [] {wcb});
    HttpServletResponse rsp = wcb.getResponse();
    myLoc.infoT("URL: " + this.changepasswordurl + this.username);
    rsp.sendRedirect(this.changepasswordurl + this.username); //get url from property
    When the rsp.sendRedirect statement is executed, I get a stack dump:

    Can anyone suggest a different method of performing a redirect from withing my JAAS Login Module in NetWeaver?  I'm thinking maybe I'm not getting the response object properly - any ideas?
    Thank you...
    Dave

    Thanks for the pointers.  We were able to get an SAP developer to take a look at this and he coded up this solution, which takes what you suggested and filled in all the blanks.  I am baffled as to how I would have figured this out on my own (like the RESPONSE_CODE value of 302), given the limited documentation around the HttpCallback.  We haven't had the opportunity to try this yet - I'll respond with a new post either way to let you know.  Anyway, here's the code snippet for how to perform a redirect:
    In the custom JAAS Login Module:
    setRedirect(callbackHandler, this.changepasswordurl);
    This is the setRedirect method:
    private void setRedirect(CallbackHandler ch, String redirectURL)
          throws IOException, UnsupportedCallbackException
        HttpSetterCallback setRCodeCB = new HttpSetterCallback();
        setRCodeCB.setType(HttpCallback.RESPONSE_CODE);
        setRCodeCB.setName("Moved Temporarily");
        setRCodeCB.setValue("302");
        HttpSetterCallback setRedirCB = new HttpSetterCallback();
        setRedirCB.setType(HttpCallback.HEADER);
        setRedirCB.setName("Location");
        setRedirCB.setValue(redirectURL);
        Callback[] cbSetter = new Callback[2];
        cbSetter[0] = setRCodeCB;
        cbSetter[1] = setRedirCB;
        ch.handle(cbSetter);

  • Custom logon module not called by the portal

    Hi, all.
    I need some help urgently on this new portal requirement. There are some sensitive ESS/MSS iviews that we need to give the users an additional logon challenge. The normal ESS/MSS iviews will be using SSO. This one will still use SSO, but have to pass the userid/password challenge.
    We have decided to use the authentication scheme. Also, the "form" logon stack has been modified with only one logon module, which is our customized one. To create the java project, jar and library, we are following the link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/46/3ce9402f3f8031e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    Here's the extract of our authscheme.xml:
            <authscheme name="certlogon">
                <authentication-template>
                    client_cert
                </authentication-template>
                <priority>21</priority>
                <frontendtype>2</frontendtype>
                <frontendtarget>com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.certlogon</frontendtarget>
            </authscheme>
            <authscheme name="coo_secure">
                <authentication-template>
                    form
                </authentication-template>
                <priority>40</priority>
                <frontendtype>2</frontendtype>
                <frontendtarget>com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.basicauthentication</frontendtarget>
            </authscheme>
            <authscheme name="basicauthentication">
                <authentication-template>
                    ticket
                </authentication-template>
                <priority>20</priority>
                <frontendtype>2</frontendtype>
                <frontendtarget>com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.basicauthentication</frontendtarget>
            </authscheme>
    The authscheme is called coo_secure. When a user clicks on the iviews with the coo_secure authscheme, a userid/pwd prompt pops up. But it does not accept whatever I type in. From the defaulttrace, I do not see any hint that our customized logon module was ever called.
    Is there anyway to turn on portal tracing to see what is going on?
    Thanks,
    Jonathan.

    Hi Jonathan,
    Did you solved the problem with the custom logon module?
    We have a very similar scenario. I followed below help site to implement a custom logon module for particular iviews.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/54/f91fba71ae48309e4267b4a36fa47b/frameset.htm
    and also the documentation:
    SAP Netweaver Developers Guide - Integrating Security Functions
    But I am not able to get my own custom login module with the custom authscheme running.
    If I access my specific IViews that requires additional custom authentication I get the portal login page again. After giving login data I get the error message:
    Java iView Runtime
    An exception occured while processing your request.
    If this situation persists, please contact your system administrator.
    If you solved your problem, can you please share the solution with me?
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Yasar

  • How to logon in Portal administration which user have a right

    Hi
    I installed  a EP 7.0 with PI. How to logon in Portal Contant Administrator. what is default user  and password in Portal Contant Administration
    abdul Hameed

    Hello!
    There is no default user dedicated to Content Administration in EP as far as I know. After installation you should be able to log on with 'Administrator' (Java-only) or 'J2EE_Admin' (Double-Stack) and the master password you set during the installation.
    Regards,

  • Redirect portal users to accept "terms & conditions" ...

    Here is the requirement ..
    When the users logging in first time i need them redirected to a page to accept "terms and conditions" , next time the page should not be appeared.
    Only the "terms and conditions" page should be appeared for those who are not accepted before.
    Please help me if anyone knows the solution ...
    Thanks in advance
    MMK

    Hello Eric, First off I'm very new to SAP, I've been a Basis Admin now for about 6 months...  I have had the pleasure of joining a team at the beginning of an upgrade.
    An issue Iu2019m trying to resolve is a payroll issue. Apparently in 4.7 when a user would login to the portal and view their personal data it would not u201CLocku201D their user data.
    But this appears not to be true in ECC6/Netweaver 7.0.  When our HR does payroll, if a user is logged in to the portal, and viewing their personal data the u201CPayroll Runu201D will not complete.
    So what I would like to do is implement your solution for the Redirect portal user to the u201CTerms & Conditionsu201D page, and tweak-it to forward the users to a u201CWebsite is downu201D page.
    Here is my thinking. When a user logs-in, check either a z-table or some other table that holds some value.  If the value is True then do nothing and continue. If the value is False, then Re-direct the user to a u201CWebsite Downu201D page with just an OK button, that when clicked will call the Logoff function.
    Also HR would be able to run a job that would set the value to either True or False so they would be able to take the portal u201COff Lineu201D when they choose..
    My question isu2026 Can you give me detailed information on how to accomplish this?
    Thanks
    Steve

  • Security Provider(JAAS chaine module)logging with SAP J2EE Agent Policy 2.2

    Hello,
    I have installed and configured a SAP J2EE Policy Agent 2.2 on a SAP J2EE Application Server 7.0 and installed an opensso 8.0.
    I have configured and deployed a jsp application with the descriptor containing the agent filter on the SAP J2EE.
    I have configured the security provider (based on JAAS) as follows:
    EvaluateTicketModule
    AmSAPWASLoginModule
    CreateTicketLoginModule
    I have then increased the severity check of logging on the SAP J2EE Application Server for:
    com.sap.security.server.jaas
    com.sap.engine.services.security
    But since the installation of the agent, I am not able to see the logs of the different logon modules and be sure that the CreateLoginModule has been done.
    I need to check that after the success of the agent login module, it goes through the CreateTicketLoginModule, how can I check that.
    Thanks,
    Tanguy Mezzano

    I want to use my login page in BEA instead of Access Manager or Distributed Authentication Module. I think it is similar to the problem you have? Did you come up with a solution?
    My problem is described in more detail on this thread:
