Jaas ( web.xml) login with uix gives error

I configured a jaas login (web.xml) with my jheadstart project like the jsp example ( Secure BC4J Applications with Oracle9i VPD and Oracle 9iAS JAAS ) this works fine, I get a login box and after i log in, the oc4j server gives a error.
Error in CreateMarlinUIXPage.createUITree: no protocol: /uix/HomePage.uix
what can this be, the jsp example works fine

here is my web.xml

  • Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16

    Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
    I need to make wsdl web service call in my weblogic app server. The web service is provided by a 3rd party vendor. I keep getting error
    Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found
    Certificate chain received from ws-eq.demo.xxx.com - xx.xxx.xxx.156 was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure
    Validation error = 16
    From the SSL debug log, I can see 3 verisign hierarchy certs are correctly loaded (see 3 lines in the log message starting with “adding as trusted cert”). But somehow after first handshake, I got error “Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found”.
    Here is how I load trustStore and keyStore in my java program:
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore",”cacerts”);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", trustKeyPasswd);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType","JKS");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType","JKS");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", keyStoreName);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword",clientCertPwd);      System.setProperty("com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump","true");
    Here is how I create cacerts using verisign hierarchy certs (in this order)
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignClass3G5PCA3Root.txt -alias "Verisign Class3 G5P CA3 Root"
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediatePrimary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Primary"
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediateSecondary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Secondary"
    Because my program is a weblogic app server, when I start the program, I have java command line options set as:
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore=SSLTrust.jks
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.enforceConstraints=strong
    That SSLTrust.jks is the trust certificate from our web server which sits on a different box. In our config.xml file, we also refer to the SSLTrust.jks file when we bring up the weblogic app server.
    In addition, we have working logic to use some other wsdl web services from the same vendor on the same SOAP server. In the working web service call flows, we use clientgen to create client stub, and use SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter to load trustStore and keyStore, and then bind the SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the webSerive client object and make the webservie call. For the new wsdl file, I am told to use wsimport to create client stub. In the client code created, I don’t see any way that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the client object, so I have to load certs by settting system pramaters. Here I attached the the wsdl file.
    I have read many articles. It seems as long as I can install the verisign certs correctly to web logic server, I should have fixed the problem. Now the questions are:
    1.     Do I create “cacerts” the correct order with right keeltool options?
    2.     Since command line option “-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore” is used for web server jks certificate, will that cause any problem for me?
    3.     Is it possible to use wsimport to generate client stub that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to it?
    4.     Do I need to put the “cacerts” to some specific weblogic directory?

    I received a workaround by an internal message.
    The how to guide is :
    -Download the wsdl file (with bindings, not the one from ESR)
    -Correct it in order that the schema corresponds to the answer (remove minOccurs or other things like this)
    -Deploy the wsdl file on you a server (java web project for exemple). you can deploy on your local
    -Create a new logicial destination that point to the wsdl file modified
    -Change the metadata destination in your web dynpro project for the corresponding model and keep the execution desitnation as before.
    Then the received data is check by the metadata logical destination but the data is retrieved from the correct server.

  • HT201210 When I Restore My iPhone with itunes gives error -1 will end of the Installing  firmware

    When I Restore My iPhone with itunes gives error -1 will end of the Installing  firmware
    what is the problem ?

    Error -1 generally indicates a catastrophic hardware failure.
    You'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation

  • When I Restore My iPhone with itunes gives error -1 will end of the Installing  firmware

    When I Restore My iPhone with itunes gives error -1 will end of the Installing  firmware

    Error 1 means, as the link that Chris gave you says, that your phone is either jailbroken or damaged.
    It can also mean that your antivirus is blocking the update, but this is rare. Try disabling your antivirus if your phone is not jailbroken. If that doesn't resolve the problem you need to get the phone fixed or replaced.
    If the phone IS jailbroken you have just learned why you should not hack an iPhone. And you will have to go somewhere other than an Apple-hosted forum for help.

    Your DOCTYPE references 2.4, it should be 2.3. WLS 8.1 supports J2EE 1.3 which was servlet 2.3.
    Servlet 2.4 is part of J2EE 1.4 and is supported by WLS 9.0/9.1. Also it uses XML Schema not a DTD.

  • Automatic update of web.xml when running UIX application

    I moved my UIX project from 9.02 to 9.03. The UIX resource files have changed between the versions so I deleted the old cabo folder so that when I ran my applicaton for the first time it would rebuild it. When I ran my application my web.xml file was automatically updated with the following servlet initialisation parameters:
    <init-param>
    <param-name>oracle.cabo.servlet.pageBroker</param-name>
    <param-value>oracle.cabo.servlet.xml.UIXPageBroker</param-value>
    </init-param>
    <init-param>
    <param-name>oracle.cabo.ui.UIExtensions</param-name>
    <param-value>oracle.cabo.data.jbo.ui.JboUIExtension</param-value>
    </init-param>
    The problem is that I've got my own pageBroker already defined in web.xml so when I run my application it used UIXPageBroker instead. This took me a while to find - my app just suddenly stopped working. I don't know what actually updated web.xml but I think it needs to check for the presence of these parameters before inserting them.
    Cheers
    Ian

    Sorry about that Ian, I agree that the code should
    check for the presence of another PageBroker. I'll
    log a bug and bring this up with the development
    team.

  • Replacing web.xml values with a deployment plan.  Not working on WL 10.3.2

    Hi All-
    I am trying to replace a value from web.xml with one in a weblogic deployment plan. I deployed the application on WL 10.3.2 and used the deployment plan below. No matter what I do it doesn't seem to want to take the value.
    web.xml:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'windows-1252'?>
    <!DOCTYPE web-app PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN" "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">
    <web-app>
    <context-param>
    <param-name>TokenGroup</param-name>
    <param-value>oldvalue</param-value>
    </context-param>
    </web-app>
    Deployment Plan:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <deployment-plan xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/deployment-plan"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/deployment-plan http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/deployment-plan/1.0/deployment-plan.xsd"
    global-variables="false">
    <application-name>APPName</application-name>
    <variable-definition>
    <variable>
    <name>TokenGroup</name>
    <value>Key123456</value>
    </variable>
    </variable-definition>
    <module-override>
    <module-name>APPName.war</module-name>
    <module-type>war</module-type>
    <module-descriptor external="false">
    <root-element>web-app</root-element>
    <uri>WEB-INF/web.xml</uri>
    <variable-assignment>
    <name>TokenGroup</name>

    <operation>replace</operation>
    </variable-assignment>
    </module-descriptor>
    </module-override>
    </deployment-plan>
    I've also tried other formats for the xpath such as:
    /web-app/context-param/{param-name="TokenGroup"}/param-value
    /web-app/context-param[param-name="TokenGroup"]/param-value
    Any ideas why this doesnt work?
    Thanks,

  • Use NAC Web Agent login with Ipad

    Hello Guys,
    I'm using NAC 4.8, and I'd like to login using NAC Web Agent on Ipad.
    When I'm trying to do that, I'm receiving a message on Ipad that I need to install Java Plug-In, but there is no JavaPlug-in available for Ipad.
    Does anyone know if there is any aditional configuration that I have to do on NAC Manager to be able to access the network using NAC Web Login on Ipad ?
    Best Regards

    Hi Luciano,
    Unfortunately, the NAC Web Agent and the persistant Agent are not supported for the iPad operating system. (It is called iOS). The following table documents this fact under footnote 3:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/nac/appliance/support_guide/agntsprt.html#wp125630
    Only normal Web Login with Safari browser is enabled.
    Hope this helps.

  • Weblogic with Hibernate gives error of named queries ? urgent

    I have deployed my application on Weblogic 11g, it gives Hibernate Names query exception.
    My Application uses Hibernate 3.0 and it works successfully on
    Tomcat
    JBOSS
    Glassfish
    But , on weblogic it gives Named query exception .Please any once can help.
    I have put antlr-3.0 jar file in lib folder of Weblogic domain folder , and have added path of it in setDomainEnv.cmd file but still Hibernate gives error of named query.

    You can follow the steps presented here: http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=5861
    The reason for the failure is the antlr library, which is already loaded through the system classpath, so you
    need to tell WebLogic which version is should load as Hibernate uses its own implementation of the antlr library.
    Adding it to the domain/lib directory does not help as jar files placed in this directory are added at the end of the system classpath at the end.
    Note that it is not good practice to place jar files in the domain/lib directory.

  • Loading big XML files using JDBC gives errors

    Hi,
    I've created a XMLType table using binary storage, with the restriction that any document stored has a (any) schema:
    CREATE TABLE XMLBIN OF XMLTYPE
    XMLTYPE STORE AS BINARY XML
    ALLOW ANYSCHEMA;Then I use JDBC to store a relatively large document using the following code:
    Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver").newInstance();
    String connectionString = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@host:1521:sid";
    File f = new File("c:\\temp\\big.xml");
    Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection(connectionString, "username", "password");
    XMLType xml = XMLType.createXML(conn,new FileInputStream(f));
    String statementText = "INSERT INTO xmlbin VALUES (?)";
    OracleResultSet resultSet = null;
    OracleCallableStatement statement = (OracleCallableStatement)conn.prepareCall(statementText);
    statement.setObject(1,xml);
    statement.execute();
    statement.close();
    conn.commit();
    conn.close();Loading a file of 61Mb (real Mb, in non-IT Mb (where 1Mb seems to be 10^6) it is 63.9Mb) or less doesn't give any errors, loading a file bigger then that gives the following error:

    Anyone any idea what might cause the problem and how to resolve?

  • /usr/bin/login Terminal start gives error

    When i try to start up the terminal via standard /usr/bin/login, i get the following error:
    login: PAM Error: Module is unkown
    only been a problem since 10.4.6 update. Already repaired permissions.
    I can change the shell command to bash, and it works. But if i try to run a "sudo" command, i get same PAM Error.
    I'm quite stuck here.
    The other weirdness is that I can't ssh into this machine from anywhere else. All of the system preferences are set correctly.
    Not sure if this is a different problem, or symptom of the same problem.
    Any ideas?

    The line that you commented out at Gary's suggestion should be commented out. it's just there to remind you of what goes in which column.
    With the line commented out:

    Are you still getting the error message that you initially were?
    if so, verify the the modules exist.
    they should exist under /usr/lib/pam

    some have configuration files. On linux they're stashed under /etc/security. but OS X, seems to want to place them else where. judging from the output of
    strings run again, pam_securetty.so, it's looking for it's configuration file under /etc.
    a tad dated, and it doesn't cover all of the modules that are available, but
    it may give you a better understanding of PAM.

    You can use BI publisher for your requirement -
    Create a Concurrent program which is based on the executable 'XDODTEXE'
    The Short_Name of the concurrent program should be the same as the data_definition short_name from Xml Publisher responsibility.

  • Calling a Web Dynpo appl from POWL gives error

    Hi,
    I have created a custom webdynpro application integrating  with POWL using the document provided by Saurav Mago .Refer the link below
    But I get the following error 'Parameter APPLID contains an invalid value.
    '[Integrating POWL with WebDynpro ABAP|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60f1d5ee-84ab-2c10-ce97-97dfd89bc238?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true]
    I have searched  SDN , debugged my application and checked the configuration and compared with the standard powl components, as well. But I am not able find out what the issue is.
    I have tested the standard webdynpro apps and my app as well , services are active , the break point also stops in the window/view. But not sure what I am missing.
    Can you please let me know if you got any idea regarding this. Appreciate your response.
    Thanks

    Hi Thomas,
    Thanks for your response. Please find
    How are you building the URL to test?
    I am using the custom webdynpro application to test it . When I test it using the standard POWL, it works. But if I test from my custom webdynpro application , it gives the dump with this error message.
    Are you sure you Application ID is correct?
    If it works with the standard, I think the config is right
    I have created POWL appli, type , , powl query , mapped the query to the powl applid, activated it, mapped query to the powl type.
    Declared the powl_ui_component in the component usage , view container in the view and  an out bound plug to the view with parameters and code as mentioned below :
    code :
    wd_this->fire_out_plg(
        applid =  'ZTEST_APPLID'                         " string
        forallq =   ''                                   " powl_xflag_ty

        srvgroup =  ''                       " powl_xflag_ty

    Can you share the full URL you are testing with here?
