I usging SQL Developper EA 4.1 on japanese Windows XP.
SQL Developper EA 4.1 can not display Japanese charactor in Script Output window.
How can I change font for Script Output window?

If you change your prefered encoding in raptor to be utf8, this will work. There was an issue with MB chars in the feedback from statements like "create table XX processed" where XX was the japanese chars that would not show, but this has been rectified

Website address does not display on pop up window

Hi,
I'm running Firefox 19.0.2 on a Win 7 64 bit version PC and have noticed that on popup windows, when the address bar is present, I get the "Go to a Web Site" message on it rather than the address of the website. If I right click on the little world icon on the address bar and choose Customise and then close that window without making any changes, the website address gets populated. Does anyone know how to get the website address to be displayed automatically on the popup? My Win XP Pro PC doesn't have this problem and the popups always display the website address without having to do anything.

Thanks very much for your help guys! The problem was '''not''' present in Safe Mode so I disabled the Extensions and discovered that the "RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin" was the culprit.
My Win XP PC did not exhibit the same problem since the RealPlayer plugin was not compatible and as such was effectively disabled.

RH7- Insert action does not display window to select the file.

I have a nightmare situation with RH7 with no clue to resolve. What are my options to fix this
I am having trouble with robohelp, selecting insert action does not display the pop up window. This prevents functions such as inserting images & files, importing files and creating hyperlinks to documents created in word, frame maker.
when I perform this action, the pop up window appears virtually but is not visible to make the selection and RH freezes.
I have to end the process or press esc to find some work around - so far none available

Welcome to the community.
Have you recently gone from a dual monitor setup to a single monitor? When this happens, RH can sometimes keep tossing dialog boxes over where it thinks the second monitor is. I typically use a program called ForceWindowVisible (get it here) to push wandering dialogs back into view. Give that a try and see if it works. Hope this helps,

Do you have any header and footer on your template?
If you have any header and footer then try to adjust it as of to display full page.

IE does not display my flash movie

Hello fellows, I am having a huge problem with MIE. It does
not displays the flash object embed! Firefox works fine, but IE
doesn't!

The funny thing is that I use almost the same code to display
another flash movie and it WORKS for the second!!! Why is that? The
Firefox displays both of them fine.

When I use the code above it returns to me an error on line
215, but my file has only 196 lines! And if I count the included
javascript, the possible lines are commentaries. The Firefox works
fine.

SSLVPN in IE 8 or 9 does not display login page

Hi all,
I have a working setup with a customer using UC560 that uses SSLVPN and it works but only when using other browsers like Firefox and google chrome, when we try using IE version 8 or 9 we get prompted about the security certificate (the usual, as it's https) and after making the exception it does not display the login page, just this: Internet Explorer can't display this website, and that's about it, don't even get the chance to login nor download the anyconnect client, anyone know if there's a patch or something for this?

thanks for your response, unfortunately it's a UC560 not an SA500 so i don't have those options, so far I haven't found configuration options that deny IE or someting like that, it really is a weird problem and it's though to troubleshoot.
When I do debug webvpn http and try to enter the webpage with IE it shows this:

I wonder what difference do they have in the HTTP request line length, probably a browser problem, I'll keep looking into it like it's the browsers fault for now.

Oops - spry menu bar 2.0 does not display correctly when loaded

I notice bzz31 had a pretty complicated post, so perhaps someone can help me with my complicated problem that has been vexing me for months. I tried the Spry Menu Bar 1.0, but it was impossible for me to edit, and I was delighted to see Spry Menu Bar 2.0 come out. However the 2.0 version has been frustrating me as well.
I can get my menu bar to display properly in Live View, as shown below.
However when I load everything onto the server, the menu bar does not display correctly, as shown below:
I don't quite understand the code "file:///" but I interpret it to mean that the Spry-UI-1.7 folder is in the topmost folder of MacPro5-Docs, which is my hard drive. Here's the code I'm having trouble with:

Replace the red coloured parts with http://www.twhsbands.org/ will remedy the situation.

Dragging and dropping an item within horizontalList does not display correctly

It appears that when I drag an item from a HorizontalList to another location within the same HorizonList, it does not display the images correctly. In my HorizontalList, I have an itemRenderer that shows the thumbnail image of the item. I have about half a dozen items in the list and when I drag the sixth item and move to the beginning of the list, the display looks as if the first and the sixth element are switched, while in reality the resulting dataProvider array seems to have the right order, meaning the sixth element became the first element and the first element became the second element and so on. JavaScript does not display in Design view

Why the following code does not display Hello world! in Split view on the "design" side? When I upload the file onto the server and try to view it in the browser everything displays normally.

This is normal, design view is simply a way of either creating your website using the wysiwyg method or if you code the website it is a way of getting an idea what the site will look like static. Design view doesn't run any scripts, which is why in the more recent versions of dreamweaver we have LiveView which does run the scripts and allow you to interact with drop down menus and the like, which you can't do in DesignView.

Font not displaying on Reports Output (RHEL 5) for 10g

Hi, I know I've posted a question in the past about a font not displaying on Report Output for my Arial, Arial Narrow, and Courier New fonts. I worked with Oracle Support and found that Metalink Note#261879.1 fixed my problem with those 3 fonts. I ran the scripts and now that part works great.
However, I have one font "ARIALUNI.TTF" that will not work. This is out specific barcode font we use. I've pushed it on Linux from my Windows by pushing it as a binary file to the ORACLE_HOME/guicommon/tk/admin/TTF directory. I even put it in the directory for TTF on Metalink Notoe 261829.1 and let it create the files, but it still doesn't find it when I ran a report that uses this font.
I tried using font subsetting via the uiprint.ali and make a reference but it still doesn't seem to work.
Is there something I'm missing that would cause any of these not to work. I thought maybe some files had to be created under the guicommon/tk/admin/AFM file directory but I'm not sure.
I just want to have my 2 or 3 reports that use this barcode to work. Once I get them, I'm done and all my font issues are resolved. Any help is appreciated.

They are probably a very old Type 1 font. Try checking the dates on the font files. Your best bet would be to get the OpenType versions of those fonts and install them.

Could you check in the lower right corner of Notepad++ what character encoding is being used for your documents. (See screen shot attached.) Some encodings, particularly UTF-16 encodings, have caused other users problems with external content not loading. It is best to use the same encoding for all of your pages, style sheets, scripts, etc.

It is just conceivable you burned a CD that exactly matched one already in the Gracenote database. Gracenote uses track count and duration to decide what CD it is you have in a computer. If you have one that matches that it will label it. You could conceivably even have one that matches it that is not the correct one.

If you launch Script Editor and open the Help menu, you will see the APpleScript Help and a Language Guide:
To see, which commands an application understands, open the File menu in Script editor and select Open Dictionary. In the list locate "Photos".

JFileChooser does not display Korean files

I have an application that uses JFileChooser to select some files. The application is bundled with English version of JRE 1.6.0_06. On Korean Windows 2003 the application displays files with filenames in Korean and allows them to be chosen. However on Korean Solaris 10, it does not even display the files? Anyone have an idea on why there is this discrepancy?
I assume that the file with the Korean filename created on Korean Windows 2003 got created with the MS949 encoding for the filename. Similarly I assumed that the file with the Korean filename created on Korean Solaris 10 got created with UTF-8 encoding because that's the encoding set on Korean Solaris when I log in (its not set to EUC-KR). So how do I get the files to display and allow to be chosen on Korean Solaris?

P. S. I have the same problem with filenames in Japanese - on a Japanese Windows 2003 server the JFileChooser displays the files while on a Japanese Solaris 10 box, the JFileChooser does not display the files.

I am trying to pick up data from an excel sheet and insert them into a database. However, once updated, they end up with '?' values.
I have tried to make font.properties.ja as the default font.properties file, which failed to display Japanese characters.
Any suggestions?
